They dont tell about the bed bugs. People here have been having bed bugs and I did hear about it until i moved my clean furniture. Now I been tell then 3 or more months but because Linda from housekeeper said i didn't have them I never got treated. I have bites . I want ro know the exact date Im going to be treated. I wont come back to bed bugs

I've had the opportunity to meet Maria Pearson from Heritage Woods through the Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce. Every event that Heritage Woods has hosted and/or sponsored has been informative and fun. I look forward to seeing Maria at events due to her professionalism and amazing personality.

My uncle lived at Heritage Woods for about 3 years. While it wasn't all bad, it certainly wasn't all good either. He has Parkinson's disease and got to the point where he could no longer live alone at home. So we moved him into Heritage Woods. Before we moved in, as we were talking to them about him and his condition, they were all about "if you need help, just push that button. That's what we're here for." Well, sort of. With Parkinson's, each day is different. Some days your legs work okay, some days, not so much. Some days you're stronger, some days you're weaker. Some of the CNAs there don't seem to understand that. They would get aggravated that some days he needed more help than others. After a while, we were constantly threatened with, "if he needs two or more assists, he'll have to move to a nursing home". They were constantly fighting a bed bug problem. My uncle had many bites, even went to the doctor more than once. All they would say is "we spray once a month". Well, that doesn't seem to have been fully effective. The first floor windows are obstructed by bushes. We asked if they could prune them or remove them because there was absolutely no view. Just a bush. Apparently not. And the Business Office Manager is one of the nastiest, snarkiest people you'll ever meet.

My mom has lived here since Feb 2019. It was the best move for her -- the staff is very willing to help us through her changing needs. We know she is in a clean & safe environment surrounded by good people.

The employees at Heritage Woods have been wonderful and extremely helpful in assisting us with navigating what can be a confusing process. From the first day we contacted them with questions, they were responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable and that level of service has continued. In addition to the employees being friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, the food options are great, the nursing staff are kind and there are numerous activities to entertain many different resident interests. I would highly recommend Heritage Woods of Belvidere to anyone looking for an assisted/supportive living facility for themselves or their parents.

Are you looking for an exceptional assisted living facility in Belvidere, IL.? STOP! This is the perfect spot. The building is beautiful, the lobby gorgeous and the dining room spacious-beautiful. They have a community room, meeting room, party room and offices all on the main floor. Oh, did I mention? The apartments are gorgeous!! Want to check it out? Give them a call and ask for Maria.

My Mother, age 95, lives there. We are very happy with her care. From the front desk, to the Doctors, Nurses, CNAs, kitchen and maintenance, they are great. When I call Hilda with a question or request she is amazing. Always right there for me. Also, a special thanks to Maria for helping us get her into the facility.

they treat you like family if we have a concern about something they help as soon as possible I had to move out because of bad health but when I could come back they were very helpful I like it here. I am very thankful for them.

I recently stopped in to Heritage Woods for a networking event. Great staff, great food, great environment! I dont currently have family there, but it certainly felt like a warm homey residence with lots of thoughtful touches from the staff.

The Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce recently held a networking event at Heritage Woods of Belvidere. The staff was really great and everyone who attended the event was pleasantly surprised at how great lunch was. The atmosphere seemed very warm and inviting and the residents were incredibly friendly as we walked through the public spaces.

Heritage Wood of Belvidere is a great place for loved ones. The staff take care of residents as if they were family. There is a home-like atmosphere right when you enter the building. The food is great, the activities are amazing, and the care provided is fantastic. I would recommend Heritage Woods to anyone!

CNA's were good, however nurses never got back to us in a timely manner. Big turn over in front office, billing department was absolutely the worst I have ever seen!! Cafeteria workers kind, and friendly to residents. Mickey the head of home is rude, promises many things but doesn't follow through. I do NOT recommend this facility, looks nice but overall not good. Many concerns no one at the desk in the evening from 5pm till 8pm anyone can walk in and you can't find anyone when you need them even when you push the emergency button. POOR RATING.......CANT GET THAT EXCELLENT OFF HERE.
