Amazing is all we can say!!! Moved our mom there 3months ago and it has been nothing but great! She is so happy there (tells everyone how much she loves living there). They offer great activities and having her go to the dinning room for meals has allowed her to meet new friends! The staff is so nice and caring and the facility/grounds are beautiful. If you are looking for an assisted living facility for yourself or a loved one. Please contact them for a tour. Yes it’s in Belvidere, but they have just about everything you could need and it’s only 10minutes from everything Rockford has to offer.

Heritage Woods of Belvidere, IL. Is a great facility that my mom lives at currently. The facility is super clean, has a great staff that is very attentive and the food is wonderful, all according to my mom. They also are very good at communicating with me as I am 1000 miles from her. I get calls and emails on any issues or concerns that is going on with her. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing this type of service for their family members.

My Aunt moved into Heritage Woods about 5 years ago. She has thrived physically and socially there. When it came time this past February to move my mom I to assisted living there was no doubt where we were going to move her! With the help of Maria and Deb the move in was flawless! The staff has been great explaining everything we need to know as a family and to my mom as a resident. She loves it here. There are so many activities and outings to take part in. The food is delicious The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The overall facility is clean. We love Heritage Woods of Belvidere.

Beautiful clean facility. The staff is wonderful. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I love speaking with Maria every time I come there. So professional and friendly. I love that they include the public in some of their activities. It's nice for the residents to meet other people. I always enjoy going and talking to new people. The residents all seem to really love their home.

They dont tell about the bed bugs. People here have been having bed bugs and I did hear about it until i moved my clean furniture. Now I been tell then 3 or more months but because Linda from housekeeper said i didn't have them I never got treated. I have bites . I want ro know the exact date Im going to be treated. I wont come back to bed bugs

When looking for a home for my dad, they were very forthcoming with information - making sure that all of our questions were answered so there would be no surprises. While he never made it to the facility, we were very appreciative of their willingness to take time and explain things to us. Since then, I have been there for community meetings and events. The staff continues to be welcoming and a pleasure to work with.

The employees at Heritage Woods have been wonderful and extremely helpful in assisting us with navigating what can be a confusing process. From the first day we contacted them with questions, they were responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable and that level of service has continued. In addition to the employees being friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, the food options are great, the nursing staff are kind and there are numerous activities to entertain many different resident interests. I would highly recommend Heritage Woods of Belvidere to anyone looking for an assisted/supportive living facility for themselves or their parents.

Wonderful place, Staff and Residents. With private living spaces and so much to do, from their on-site beauty shop, crafting room, and gardens, to their banquet room where friends gather to share 3 delicious meals each day. I was immediately greeted by smiling faces and welcoming hearts. I came home and told my husband that we need to move there. Bonus: Maria Pearson was a wonderful host and tour guide, who has become my forever friend.

My uncle lived at Heritage Woods for about 3 years. While it wasn’t all bad, it certainly wasn’t all good either. He has Parkinson’s disease and got to the point where he could no longer live alone at home. So we moved him into Heritage Woods. Before we moved in, as we were talking to them about him and his condition, they were all about “if you need help, just push that button. That’s what we’re here for.” Well, sort of. With Parkinson’s, each day is different. Some days your legs work okay, some days, not so much. Some days you’re stronger, some days you’re weaker. Some of the CNAs there don’t seem to understand that. They would get aggravated that some days he needed more help than others. After a while, we were constantly threatened with, “if he needs two or more assists, he’ll have to move to a nursing home”. They were constantly fighting a bed bug problem. My uncle had many bites, even went to the doctor more than once. All they would say is “we spray once a month”. Well, that doesn’t seem to have been fully effective. The first floor windows are obstructed by bushes. We asked if they could prune them – or remove them – because there was absolutely no view. Just a bush. Apparently not. And the Business Office Manager is one of the nastiest, snarkiest people you’ll ever meet.

I recently stopped in to Heritage Woods for a networking event. Great staff, great food, great environment! I don't currently have family there, but it certainly felt like a warm homey residence with lots of thoughtful touches from the staff.

The Belvidere Area Chamber of Commerce recently held a networking event at Heritage Woods of Belvidere. The staff was really great and everyone who attended the event was pleasantly surprised at how great lunch was. The atmosphere seemed very warm and inviting and the residents were incredibly friendly as we walked through the public spaces.

Heritage Wood of Belvidere is a great place for loved ones. The staff take care of residents as if they were family. There is a home-like atmosphere right when you enter the building.
