Sunrise of West Essex is such a special community. It's so well-established and has tremendous longevity amongst the team. I recently moved a client into the Reminiscence memory support neighborhood and am blown away by the professionalism, empathy, and patience of the team. The transition to senior living is never easy, especially for those living with dementia. I honestly anticipated and prepared my client's family for a very rocky week (& longer!), but I'm already so pleasantly surprised with how it's going. On day TWO, she was out and about participating in activities and enjoying meals in the dining room. It's of course been emotional and there are good days and bad days, but she's already begun to trust and seek comfort in the team. Knowing she is safe and well cared for has been a huge relief for her loved ones. We are looking forward to her continuing to settle in and thrive in such a supportive, loving environment. Thank you to Bernadette (Reminiscence Coordinator) and her incredible team for making this transition smoother than we could've hoped for! If I named everyone who has made this process so pleasant, I'd run out of review space. 😉 THANK YOU TO ALL!

Sunrise is a wonderful place managed by true professionals. The amount of carting they provide for their residents is on par with the care given by actual family members. My mother has been a resident of Sunrise a few years now. We looked into a lot of facilities. The price of care facilities can be high but I found sunrise to be the most economical of the quality facilities. The price is reasonable a d the service is excellent. I would encourage anyone looking for a facility for their love ones to consider Sunrise

I moved my mother into Reminiscence in March the same day the facility went into lockdown. It was a rough experience to have to drop her off and leave not knowing when I would be able to visit her. I can tell you that the staff has done a outstanding job of not only taking excellent care of my mother but have done a outstanding job of communication my mothers status. I have never had a problem reaching any staff member from the top down and am alway treated in a welcome and respectable way. Ive also have had several FaceTime session with my mom and the greatest reward was the smile on her face. I know my mothers in the best place for her. I highly recommend this place

I cant say enough wonderful things about my experience with Sunrise of West Essex! Not only do they have a warm, safe comforting environment, the care and attention my family received was none other than OUTSTANDING! My family resided in this wonderful home for 2 1-2 years and the experience was great!! The care we received was above and beyond anything I expected from an assisted living facility. The employees are caring, the executive director is wonderful, I just cant say enough positive things about this home. I have recommended several friends to Sunrise at West Essex whose family members are currently residing and LOVE their experience as well. Writing a positive review for Sunrise is just a small token of thanks for the amazing experience we walked away with. As a daughter of two aging parents, I felt safe knowing my parents were in the care of such wonderful people. I would highly recommend this assisted living facility to everyone!!!!

I am an hourly employee at Sunrise and have to say its a wonderful place to work. It has a positive atmosphere with very pleasant residents. The management has always been welcoming and has a clear narrative to create a comfortable environment. Not a bad place to work at all! West Essex!
