My husband and I pull up and they had it all decorated for Christmas. We liked that they have rocking chairs outside for patients and their loved ones to sit outside and visit when its nice out. We walked through the doors and was very pleased with the decor. The personal was very friendly and helpful. The place was kept us nicely. My mom says everyone is so nice. That's what matters the most! I would def recommend this place to anyone looking for this type of facility. Thank you!

As a visitor, the check in process was overly complicated and poorly designed. The terminal display cut off some of the programmed responses, which required the visitor to scroll down. This was not obvious and required the front desk attended to assist several visitors. The temperature reader was several feet away from the terminal and required visitors to step around the check in area. These delays resulted in a lineup of visitors waiting to check in.

My aunt was admitted to this facility after being moved from a substandard rehabilitation facility. (UMC was our fist choice upon hospital discharge, but was not accepting patients) United Methodist Community provided five star care in every area! Nurses and aides were accommodating and incredibly kind and patient. Both the physical therapist and occupational therapist developed and executed plans to ensure my aunt was able to safely return to independent living. An added bonus in this facility is that the rehab unit rooms don’t have a hospital room feel, increasing the comfort level of their patients.

Although it became obvious that this Assisted Living facility was out of my friends financial ability to afford. I thought it was very well kept and what I saw of the interior very attractive. My conversation with Carolyn was enjoyable and I'm sure if my friend could have afforded to live there, she would have been helpful to us.

We recently had to move a friend to the Tapestries/Memory Care area of UMC - Collingswood and it was such a smooth transition. Our friend has no family and the nurses and aids were so incredibly kind and caring to her! As difficult as these things can be, the staff at UMC made this extremely easy! I highly recommend UMC - Colllingswood!!

My father, Jerry, Sr., was in UMC at Collingswood on their Rehab Unit on the 5th floor a couple of times before using their Respite program. After that , he moved into an Assisted Living Apartment on the 3rd floor. The staff member who helped our family navigate his transition between programs was Carlene Sunarth, Sales Counselor "Extraordinaire". This woman was not only most knowledgeable and compassionate, but showed my father, sister and I gracious hospitality throughout the whole process. She introduced us to staff members who treated us like family while at the same time provided my dad with quality medical care and above all dignity and respect. Erik, Valerie, Lance, Ann, Angelique, Kiani, John, Sally, Hope, Maggie, Denise, and Tai are just some of the names I remember who have been so helpful to us. Currently, my father is back on the Rehab Unit after a week in the hospital, but is looking forward to returning to his AL apartment which he now fondly refers to as his "Home." Forever grateful- Jerry Knast, Jr.

My mom Jacky Cunney lived at UMCatC for a little over a year. When she chose it she said it was because she felt at home. Her apartment was nice and she was able to keep her two cats with her which was very therapeutic. The staff was wonderful, positive and so caring. Mom only left because the covid quarantine was affecting her adversely. I must say that I was highly impressed with how Jim and the staff handled it all. I saw this first hand as they allowed me to stay with mom (until she kicked me out ). I recommend United Methodist Communities (especially at Collingswood) to all who need the peace of mind.

My father was a resident here for eight years. Sadly,he passed away this past October. This facility meant what they promised. His care was stellar and he and our family felt true compassion and gentle kindness when his time on this earth was finished. He was promised care until the end of his life.........even if the moneyran out. That promise was fulfilled by the circle of care fund, as he did outlive his wealth. Everyone at the Collingswood campus was wonderful to him and to me as his power of attorney. He was frightened to give up his home and financial independence as anyone would be. I was anxious also assuming the role of power of attorney. With much prayer and contemplation, it turned out to be the best decision ever made. My fathers wonderful quality of life was a joy and an honor to witness in his latter years. Thank you, each and every one of you for becoming part of his and our family. With love and deepest gratithde. Patti Venuto daughter of Jack Geigelman apt.106

I was never worried leaving my mom at Collingswood Manor. All of the aides who cared for her were kind and sincere. We loved her assisted living apartment and when she needed more care she was able to get that on the 5th floor. My only regret is that she passed away before the new memory care area opened. I would recommend Collingswood Manor to anyone searching for a high quality facility for their loved one.

Collingswood Manor allowed me to live on the Assisted Living floor with my husband who had Alzheimers Disease. I will be forever grateful to that community for enabling me to be with him for the final years of his life. Other communities wanted us in separate apartments. I watched on a daily basis how they worked together for everyone, with care and professionalism! I was able to leave him for short periods of time knowing that he trusted these new friends who were caring for him. I was trained to be a volunteer so that I could give back a little of what I was given. The staff became our friends. I give high praise to that Very Special Place!!!!

My grandmother and aunt recently moved to Florida from outside Philly, so Hurricane Dorian was a big first for many members of the extended family, including me. Earlier in the week, I felt a bit heartbroken that I couldn't be there to transport them away from the storm, as this is something I would totally have done if I still lived close to them. However, I watched all of the Facebook updates and read all of Grand Villa's thoughtful email updates. My brother and I were texting that we were on "Team Dee," because of how supportive and on top of everything you've been this week. Like I said, this was a big first for us and it provided me with a ton of peace and confidence about how emergencies are handled over at Grand Villa.

Grand Villa has been the perfect location to address our mothers' needs once she was unable to live at home alone. The staff and administration has been wonderful throughout the process of dealing with our family needs. Would suggest to anyone looking for elder care to come to this fine facility. Clean as can be, rooms remodeled regularly, and a beautiful dining facility. Plenty of activites and entertainment available on a daily basis. Would not want our mother anywhere else.

My Husband received excellent care during his stay of 12 days. Everyone we came in contact with was pleasant, efficient, helpful ,professional and caring. The physical therapy dept is excellent, they got him back on his feet and moving. the nurses addressed every concern, the aides were always available for any request he had and his meals were delicious. He has lost weight during his previous hospital stay but when he was transferred to Collingswood Manor, he ate so much better and that helped in his recovery. I cannot say enought about Collingswood Manor, except to say Thank you for all you did for him. Thank you

Mom stationed here for subacute rehab after breaking her femur pretty badly. What a great place! Plenty of staff and all very pleasant (even when doing unpleasant tasks). The OT and PT professionals are caring but get the people working. I have a lot of respect for people who make caring for the elderly their career. Again, I highly recommend this facility. 5 stars

I knew I needed to move my parents to assisted living 5 years ago. It was a difficult and emotional decision in so many ways. I looked at every facility in Fort Collins and Loveland multiple times. I knew that the only place I had a chance of getting them to agree to was MacKenzie Place. Definitely expensive but my parents had planned well and they deserved to be in a lovely home that could give them the support they so desperately needed. Though it was an arduous process we finally got them to move there after about a year of trying. I won't say that everything has always been perfect. That is a pipe dream when two parents have Alzheimer's, but I will say that the staff has worked very hard to make my parents feel welcome, comfortable, and respected. Most importantly, my parents have been safe. They get their meds regularly, they get whatever help they need in terms of personal care, they eat lovely nutritious meals that they enjoy, their apartment is cleaned, their laundry is done. They have been happy. And I am grateful. I am very involved in their care. The assisted living staff and I have not always seen eye-to-eye on every detail, but we have always been able to work things out by keeping my parents' well-being first and foremost. Like any good relationship, we work through the bumps. We respect each other. Perhaps my one wish for improvement would be less staff turnover. It is time-consuming to get the next influx of employees up to speed, and consistency is important to Alzheimer's patients. But, with the help of the assisted living office head and her staff, we have been able to keep my parents out of locked memory care and in their own apartment. I highly recommend MacKenzie Place. It has been a life-saving solution for my parents.
