I toured in the spring and I was uncertain if I was ready for this next step in my life, as I'm only 82. Suffice it to say, I will be a resident by the time I turn 83. The apartments are beautiful, the staff is genuinely lovely, and Dannie is so helpful that I can't wait to be able to encounter her often when I'm officially a resident! I can't wait to share Dannie and the Carlisle with my friends.

We had a wonderful experience learning about The Carlisle while looking for an independent living community for my parents. Jennifer made us feel welcomed and cared for from the initial phone call through every moment of both visits. She is extremely supportive and gentle. Kevin joined us for both visits, sharing his insights and good humor. Both were patient and kind with my parents who are very reluctant and fearful about moving. The Carlisle itself is beautiful and elegant, clearly well maintained and situated in a lovely location a block from the beach. From upper levels there are stunning ocean views! We would be delighted to call The Carlisle home, and will when we are ready. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the dining room with our gracious hosts and attentive server. All in all it was a terrific experience which I can't recommend highly enough!

A week ago, we moved mom into assisted living at the Carlisle. Not only is it a stunning space, it has been an amazing experience and great relief to our family that she is receiving thoughtful care, better than what we could provide her ourselves. Every one of the staff is so nice and they go out of their way to address mom's (and our) needs. They have thought of everything to make the transition easy. The nursing & aide staff have been extremely patient and helpful. Between myself writing emails and mom herself, we can be a handful, so I hope their patience holds out! 🙂 I highly recommend a visit. She was available 24/7 & answered all the questions from myself & my client's family (many) & even after moving in Dannie Josma continues to help my client!! Dannie Josma, made the overall process easier for me & my clients, assisting with furnishings & making sure the 2 bedroom suite was prepared & ready for my clients who drove 28 hours to get to the community with her daughter in a medical transport because she could not get on a plane. If you are looking for a luxury senior living community, I highly recommend Dannie Josma and The Carlisle Palm Beach. Those views are to die for! Is a direct quote from my client!! The nurses are patient, smart, and very well trained. The assistants, the med techs, are very engaged and caring. In her warm and caring away, she walked us through every step of the process, answered questions, at any time of day or night, provided guidance and reassurance. as anxiety about the move grew, she provided words of wisdom, and offered emotional support in ways that were never expected. While it was a very difficult decision and and situation for my family (severe Alzheimers), my experience with the Carlisle was top notch. I received very consultative service from everyone but particularly Daniella Josma. She was great from the moment we spoke on the phone up until we moved my Dad in. To put things in perspective about how great Danni was, we toured the Carlisle on Wednesday, signed the contract on Thursday and moved my Dad in on Friday, including helping us orchestrate a furniture move.

They have putting greens, a choir, a fabulous theatre as well as card rooms, arts and crafts. I love that they have happy hour seven days a week…including wine, beer and hot food and snacks. I feel like the Carlisle is as close to perfect as you're going to get. Moving a parent to assisted living is the hardest thing you'll ever do but I will say that the Carlisle really made it easier for me and my family. My mom is starting to really like it and she feels more comfortable by the day. There are tons of activities and field trips. They have movies and sing along and entertainment on a regular basis. The main dining room is a real treat and the facility is beautiful. To me and my family the location is great! Publix is right across the street and there are many restaurants that we like to take my mom to up and down E Ocean ave. My mom has come a long way from the 1st day and I have to contribute her settling in so quickly to Daniella Josma in Sales. She has gone above and beyond with us. Half of the stuff that she has helped facilitate isn't even part of her job. If I was reviewing just Dani I would give 5 stars for this review. All in all I couldn't be happier that we did our homework and chose the Carlisle for my mom.

Danielle is amazing, the best Nurse ever! I’m sure in this business she gets her share of problem customers, and people don’t always take the time to express their gratitude. My Mom has struggled with the move from living independently at her own home to Assisted Living, but recently she has really come around and she seems to appreciate what a great place the Carlisle is and the fact she doesn’t have to cook. We took her to her house this weekend again and moved a bunch more stuff up here. Her apartment is bursting at the seams with stuff now. But the main thing is Mom seems happy and content now. Our father chose to move to the Independent Living side of the Carlisle almost 2 years ago. He has been happy since the first day. I read many reviews and just shake my head. I believe what you put out is what you get back. He/we have had nothing but a positive experience. He’s an easy going, appreciative guy - and he is treated with warmth and respect. Within the first couple days he was remarking that everyone was acknowledging him by name. Fast forward to a couple months ago when he took a fall that resulted in him requiring Assisted Living. The transition was seamless. He is still able to partake in the activities he was previously enjoying in IL and still able to eat meals with his friends in the IL dining room or dine in the AL dining area - whichever he chooses. The Wellness Director and staff are phenomenal. From daily care, medicine management, coordination of medical visits - many that visit the Carlisle, we are blown away with attention to detail by this group. We like to think of ourselves as hands-on children but the Director almost seems to anticipate our questions:concerns and is already handling it. The new director is also going above and beyond. During the recent tropical storm:hurricane we received ongoing updates as to the status of the Carlisle and evacuation protocol had it been necessary which fortunately it was not. When we knew that our dad needed to move from IL to AL we took the opportunity to look at other AL facilities - we too read reviews and we needed to be sure he would be getting this next level of care he needed. Hands down The Carlisle of the Palm Beaches delivers on their promises.

The Four Seasons of Assisted Living My mother and her companion moved to The Carlisle March 2022 and are loving it. They have exercise every day, movies, art classes, and on and on. Tons to do as well as a gorgeous setting. The trees around the pool are so tropical, you feel like you are on vacation. The food is excellent....I've eaten there several times and my mother often tells me about all the delicious meals they have. I've toured many, many Assisted Living facilities and as soon as I visited The Carlisle, I knew this place was different. Every person I spoke to or met, was super knowledgeable as well as personable. You could tell how much they care about the residents. I also appreciate that the Assisted Living and Independent sides are open, meaning my mother on the Assisted living side can also dine in the Independent side. Most facilities have everything completely separate. But most important to me...as an only child who is long distance...is the fact that there are medical staff who can help in an emergency or even when there isn't an emergency. THIS gives me peace of mind that my mother is safe and well cared for. I truly can't imagine a better place for an aging parent!!

My Dad became a resident 15 days ago. We searched 10 different places in Broward and Palm Beach County. This place was just the right size for my dad and not intimidating or overwhelming for him. I never felt like I was institutionalizing him but moving him to his new home. Robin and staff promised a lot of and delivered on ALL. No second request, all done the first time at signup. My dad who stated he would never use the amenities and not look for new friends has embraced the whole lifestyle and looks forward to the NEW next day. I have been to many assisted living facilities as well as independent living facilities for both my mother and mother-in-law… The food at the Carlisles restaurant is delicious! They have a great always menu and their daily specials have been really great! If you are looking into the Carlyle for a loved one… Ask for LYDIA in the sales department! She is so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond constantly and is always available 24 seven with any questions or concerns. She replies immediately and does everything possible to please the residents and their family members. Many communities are further west and while you may get a slightly bigger apartment… Youre in the middle of nowhere and the residents have to solely rely on transportation. Whereas The Carlisle, is in a fantastic location that provides residents the opportunity to walk to the Beach, luxury boutiques and delicious restaurants… all directly across the street! It really gives residence the opportunity to live a fulfilled independent lifestyle with so much right outside the door to the Carlisle. just over the bridge is an awesome park for visiting grandchildren to exert their energy!! The bonus?! After all that running around at the park… the grandchildren are welcome to swim at the beautiful and huge pool at the Carlisle!! truly blessed I found an incredible place like the Carlisle for my mom and it is a pleasure visiting her!!

When we first started chatting with you about his moving in, it was going to be sometime in the fall after his stay up north. After he moved in and started getting acclimated he thought maybe hed adjust his northern visit to just a couple months. When he left last Wednesday he said hed probably see me in a month. After just a day or two up north he started talking about how much he missed the Carlisle. So...after he got the information on the storage unit and he figured what would fit, e asked my sisters husband to drive him home. They left on Tuesday and will be back today. This place was quite nice when my mother moved there 1 1-2 years ago. Since then though the Carlisle has gone downhill. The building has some age on it and its starting to show. Common areas are beginning to look a little tired, the elevators often have issues and it no longer feels like luxury living. Scaled back during the lockdowns, the activities are still reduced, the few movies shown are old and not what the residents seem to want to watch. The food quality has also gone down hill and is inconsistent. Residents typically have a regular table for dinner, so they dont easily get to know other residents, only their regular dinner companion(s) and it can be difficult for some residents to find a situation-dinner companion they like. It is kept very clean though. Overall I would give it a B, but you are paying for A-A+.

After moving to the Carlisle, I got a cake and a song on my birthday! It wasnt an easy decision to move, but my house was too big to manage for one person. Since, moving to the Carlisle I have a housekeeper that I love. There is always something to do and even during a pandemic they keep us very busy. My experience here has been very positive to say the least. If I was still at home, Id probably go out despite quarantine restrictions. Now that Im here, I make better decisions and can quarantine and social distance and be safe. I love the area and Im able to walk around with my dog. This was the best decision and I would do it again a thousand times over.

During Hurricane Irma many family members were filled with anguish for their loved ones. Immediately after the storm there were many family members such as myself that wanted to immediate answers as to the status of The Carlisle. This was a learning experience for all. The staff did a wonderful job of resettling all of the residents back home safely in a timely manner. Many of the family members including myself did not know that The Carlisle has a government exception when there is evacuation order set in place for the barrier Island . The Carlisle will not evacuate it's residents unless a hurricane is higher than a category 3 or unless it is predicted that the ocean waves exceed a certain height. It is in the residents best interest to stay put. My mothers apt did have water intrusion. The Carlisle remediated the issue within 24 hours. I want to thank Chris, the staff of The Carlisle and Corporate for all that you have done on behalf residents and my mother.. Amy Lotker

That expression, "The grass isn't always greener on the other side," is so true! I recently moved my husband from The Carlisle to move him to a brand new Assisted Living competitor which was closer to my home. After only a week, I realized I had made a big mistake. Just because they were new, their care was not as good as The Carlisle's Assisted Living. I called The Carlisle and they welcomed us back with open arms. We couldn't be any happier. The care my husband receives at The Carlisle is well worth my drive time!
