My mother is currently a resident aa aTown Hall Town Plaza. They have been outstanding at helping us deal with a very difficult situation. My mom had a very short turn around for moving from one facility to West Bloomfield Town Center Town Plaza. Randi has been so professional, kind and understanding. My sister is in Florida and I am in Reno NV . Everyone has worked hard to insure my mom is taken care of properly even though we are limited by distance. I must mention Chardonnay, Tanisha, and Lisa have tried so hard to help my mom does not understand how to use a cellphone and has completely lost several phone charger Everyone has gone above and beyond to keep my mother, Wilma Baskin happy, busy and in good health. What a comfort it is to know my mom is safe and happy. Thank you so much. They make an extremely difficult situation we are facing.

I recently moved my mom into Townehall Place. I couldn’t have made a better decision. The nursing team and administration were fantastic to work with during the move-in process. Since moving in about a month ago, every interaction with everyone has been exceptional. They’ve taken the stress off of me and my siblings being her primary caregiver and allowed us to become her family again. I highly recommend moving your loved one here. The entire team, from the Executive Director, the nurse and all of the staff have been nothing but caring and supportive for my mom AND her family! Thank you Townehall!

My mother has begun her next chapter at Townehall Place at West Bloomfield! After living on her own for a number of years, she has become more social, gathering for meals and sharing laughs while getting to know her fellow residents. She’s encouraged to move around and not remain confined to a chair or her room. All while the incredible staff ensures she receives and takes her medication and assist her with her needs without impeding her independence. More importantly, the staff service is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, kind and friendly and treats residents with dignity! Many thanks to the Townehall Place staff for making my mother feel welcome in this community!

It It was a stressful experience to make arrangements for my mom when her rehab was terminated Tashe made it so easy and covered everything she even came in on the holiday weekend to meet me. After we got here Heather bent over backwards to make my mom feel at home and comfortable here which could have been a very stressful experience for her. I will tell everyone about how well run and how nice Town Hall place is.

I’m so happy I made the decision to place my Aunt’s care in the hands of the staff at Townehall Place of West Bloomfield. When I first walked through the doors I felt a sense of home, community and kindness. I’m pleased to say that my instincts were spot on. My decision was not an easy as my loved one had challenges, the biggest being a language barrier. I soon discovered the spoken word was not the most important mode of communication, it was the unspoken word and that spoke volumes. The staff had a playful sense that my Aunt really took to. They sing with her, dance with and for her and she loves it! She does have her off days (everyone does), but a warm touch, an act of kindness can change her tune and those that care for her know it. A special shout out and accolades to Tashe for heading up this outstanding staff. I’m so pleased I made the decision to go with Townehall Place for my Aunt’s care over 2 1/2 years ago. Our Mother was at Townehall Place, for almost four years. Mom and her family loved the staff. The staff was always kind, compassionate and willing to help her in any way. Mom enjoyed the warm and secure atmosphere, the food, and the daily activities provided. Tasheona worked with our family to place mom in hospice care, right in her Townehall apartment. Mom passed, however we are grateful for the care and love mom received throughout her stay. Mark and Bob K.

Such a beautiful living center. My family went for a tour for our Paw Paw and we loved it. He didn’t want to leave. The building was spotless and the staff was so nice. Tasheona was amazing and answered all our questions. This was our fourth living center tour and its still our top one. Paw Paw can’t wait to move in.

Trying to decide on an assisted living facility for a parent is difficult. I want my mom to feel safe and cared for. This place is amazing, the fact that it was the town hall for West Bloomfield gives it such character. With all the assisted living facilities around, this one is special. Townhall Place is easy to access and they have someone at the desk 7 days a week. I’m glad I found them.

I just had lunch and a tour here. This is a West Bloomfield charmer! It is the most welcoming and quaint community. It feels just like a bed and breakfast .The staff are very happy and friendly. It's clean and extremely well kept. Lunch was amazing ‘! Shout out to the Chef! Annette is the Community Specialist you need to meet!

Our 92 year-old mother is at Townehall Place. Her serious health issues have been and continue to be a difficult challenge. In every respect, we could not be more pleased with THP. The facility is beautiful and always immaculate. Most important, though, is the consistent attention, care and respect the staff has given our mother and the staff’s professionalism in promptly addressing any concerns that have arisen. In that respect, Director of Resident Care Nurse Tasheona Beard stands out as extraordinary. Tashe is a rare talent. She is smart, efficient, resourceful, always responsive, and always exercises remarkably good judgment. She is passionate about assuring THP residents receive excellent care that is delivered with kindness and sensitivity. Providing care to the elderly is difficult work, but the staff and leadership at THP do it with skill and heart.

Going through the transition from living in your own home to assisted living with older folks is never easy, especially for a Dementia patient. I can personally say the help and care that Townehall Place of West Bloomfield has provided my 97-year-old Grandma and my mom with Dementia, have been outstanding and have ensured a smooth transition. Tashe, Andrea, Alice, Regina, Michelle, Char and Brad provide hands on care, keep them active, ensure all their needs are met and routinely communicate with us. During these difficult times we are all going through, I can’t thank you all enough for being their and ensuring our loved ones are cared for and comforted. My father was in hospice care at Townehall place prior to his passing. It was a difficult time, but the staff was amazing, supportive and incredibly professional. Likewise the facility itself is up-to-date, clean and very well run. I cant say enough good things about Townehall and their staff, they were like family, and made this process a lot less painful for me and my dad.

Townehall treats my MIL like family. What else do you need to know? They are professional, hard working, quick to respond, and have handled this lock-down with extraordinary grace; the residents are safe and loved and they have kept Covid at bay. They take their roles as caregivers to heart; cannot ask more than that. And the icing on the cake is that the families of the other residents feel like family, too. Being surrounded by wonderful people makes all the difference. We had my MIL at another Assisted Living facility for a short while, which turned out to be nothing but a veiled nursing home with staff (all levels) who were heartless and crass, to say the most. Caring for our elderly isn’t easy work and it takes special people to get it right. Townehall gets it right.

I have had my parents at 4 different AL facilities in the area in the past two years. 5th and final...Townhall Place is the BEST AL you can move your loved one into. Caring, kind, RESPECTFUL, positive, loving team members to provide daily care and companionship to your family member. ALL members on this team, from the GM, caregivers, med passers, maintance , nursing staff, administrators, dining etc... they treat all residents with love and smiles ( hugs when permitted too ). Happy to chat with anyone about present and past experiences. Just ask Kim, Brad, Jeff, Michelle or Tashe- they are your go to for everything and response to everyone! The apartments are also nice, clean, bright and spacious! You need to check out the dining room- very easy for loved ones to hear and have conversations. And lots of activities too!

My husband spent 5 weeks here this past spring recovering from pneumonia. I cant say enough about this facility, clean comfortable and well staffed! All of the staff are competent and caring, from the person at the front door (Char) to the many aides and head nurse (Tashi). My husband took advantage of the inhouse rehab company Theramax and progressed steadily under their guidance. Thank you Townhall Place!

My sister, Arlene received the most loving care while at Townehall place. Every single person from housekeeping, aides, nurse, sales staff were absolutely amazing. Working in collaboration with hospice, no detail was left behind. All of her needs were carefully coordinated and attended to. I would definitely refer and recommend anybody needing an assisted lving facility to Townehall place. My heartfelt thanks to all of the staff who attended to my sister and respected her dignity while giving her the care that she needed.

I have been looking at places for my Dad and Townehall Place checked off everything I am looking for. I met with Kim & Jennifer and they made me feel like they really care. The caregivers were all welcoming and the residents seemed very happy.

I was able to tour with Kim she was great down to earth and I can see she really enjoys her job. Her knowledge of the industry was very helpful. Townehall Place did a great job with the renovations and the staff were very welcoming. I would definitely be comfortable with placing one of my parents there.

I stopped in today and was greatly impressed by how engaged the staff was. The team was making flower arrangements with the staff. The history of the building is as charming as the residents.
