We absolutely love Sunshine Gardens! The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and truly cares about each resident. They go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable, respected, and at home. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and has such a positive atmosphere. Most importantly, my friend, Dan is happy, well cared for, and surrounded by people who genuinely look out for them”and that means everything to me. We’re so grateful for this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, loving environment for their loved one

I can’t say enough good things about this facility! Since my father moved in, the staff has been supportive, communicative, and really show love for the residents. Also, the size of the rooms is great! A much better set up, especially for the price, than anything I’ve found locally. Highly recommend!

My father has been at SUNSHINE GARDENS as of August 31, 2024. I can't say enough positive about his new home. The kindness he has been shown, the therapy he receives and asks for on a daily basis. The food is remarkable and has helped rebuild his strength more than I thought possible. KIMBERLY......amazing! Always available — ANGIE..... her right arm! Always available — I've needed both of these at different times. The phone is always answered!!! So much more I could say. We are Grateful and Blessed ™

I applied as a private caregiver. At first, director friendly. I had a one-week job. They said they’d call me again. Seemed happy with me, but each time I called to check for more jobs, director [name removed] kept saying she’d call me back, but never returned my calls. The last time I called, she was rude and hung up on me. So unprofessional! I will not call there again and will not recommend them! I don’t understand….. all she had to say was they had nothing available. 😡

They show favoritism to some residents, they took $ 15,000 extra dollars out of my parents account after I moved them to a nursing home per doctor suggestion. Per 90 day notice we and Kelly agreed to just $5,000 for the month of August 2024 after she cleared with owner...$5,000 was taken out plus the addition of the $15,000. Did manage to get $5,000 back but was told they will work on getting us another $7,000 back. Been in touch with the director but we feel like we are being put off...just feel like we been burned...so if you put your parents here get a contract first day...I kept asking for one but never did receive one...

Didn't get no copy of contract when parents moved in even asking several times for one. Had to move parents to nursing home under doctors suggestion, didn't know about 90 day notice cause no contract. Day we moved them(JULY 29 2024) was told about 90 notice and one of the lady's went to bat for us...we agreed on the $5000 payment for August of 2024. August $5000 was taken out of my parents account. September $15,000 was taken out of my parents account. We've managed to get $5000 back still trying to get some compensation back. Tried several times to keep in touch with manager would even settle for $7000 back from $15,000 have been put off several times. So please get a contract before you leave so you at least know their terms. BURNED
