We have been very disappointed in the care my mother-in-law has received in the last six months.She is now dealing with intestinal issues that require a blood test and nursing care and was told to eat a bland diet. The lunch menu today was Mexican food and when she requested a baked potato she was told they were short staffed and that would not be possible. After several calls from family this was rectified. In addition outdoor maintenance has been minimal...dead shrubs and grass, weed filled and empty planters and overgrown shrubs and trees. There is what could be a pleasant outdoor sitting area that is not being maintained with garbage cans sitting in this area. The excuse is that they are short handed. Short handed or not, at a minimum I would expect her recommended diet to be a priority.

My mother was a resident at Wedgewood for about ten months after she suffered a fall and had substantial injuries. She was well taken care of by this facility and the facilities' staff. I felt the staff cared for her physical needs and were compassionate to her in her final months. I am thankful for this facility.

Amazing place for your loved ones! The employees are extremely friendly and helpful with anything you need! I wouldnt want my great aunt anywhere else but here!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an assistive living facility! Thank you so much Wedgwood south for yalls hospitality!

Wedgewood South is a wonderful assisted living facility. My mother is always treated with respect and the aides go out of their way to make her feel special. Everyone is friendly. If an issue comes up, the administration is quick to listen and take action. The activity's director is great and consistent in scheduling activities that promote social, emotional and physical health. Wedgewood is my mother's home and the staff is her extended family. Thank you Wedgewood!

I was surprised to see one reviewer leave such a negative review of Wedgewood South. My mother lived here for about a year and half, and on the whole, she had a good experience. The staff was responsive and always treated her with the utmost care and dignity. Everyone there became like family to us. Mom's only disappointment was with the food. The menu seemed bland and repetitive and sometimes arrived cold. If they could have provided more appetizing meals, I would have given them 5 stars.
