The staff at the Meadows are really great! But, one really stands out to me and that is Keke! She is so kind and really sweet. She has a understanding heart and really listens when someone needs help or feeling down (me). Both of my parents are at the Meadows. She really helped me out when their was a situation with my parents health. She listened, let me cry when I needed to and also let me hug her. Everytime I see her she always has a big smile on her face and greets me. When I see her around my parents she puts a smile on their face or makes them laugh. That is very important to me. The Meadows is definitely an improvement over places like Greenhaven Estates but there is a lot of room for improvement. The food is not good. They made a big deal about getting dietary info from my mom's Dr before she could move in.There doesn't seem to be any differentiation in whats served. The transportation to appts is not a clear cut thing like presented. There are so many criteria like certain days & times that it's not worth the effort. The good part is the place is beautiful, very clean & the care providers are lovely. Perhaps I should've opened with the positive notes. But the food thing is incredibly disappointing. My mom now wants us to bring her food she can prepare in her room. This is maddening since we're now paying 2x for food.

I really would like to thank the Meadows for the outstanding help we received with getting my dad safely situated into his new home. Zuliaka was so kind and showed my family so much compassion trying to find the best community for my dad and the staff has been so nice. If anyone reading this has been in limbo and in need of some help with deciding where to place their loved one in the greater Sacramento area, do not hesitate to reach out to meadows. Thanks again

We moved my 57 year old son into The Meadows Assisted Living, Elk Grove, a week ago. The staff provides, to the residents, a friendly, positive, joyful, environment, Residents in need of extra personal attention, receive what is needed, with a smile. It is a well kept, clean facility with lots of amenities. It is such a relief to finally have peace of mind. When a loved one must be separated from home. Into a new home! The Meadows!

Terrace and Miguel are awesome dining room servers. They have great memories for residents names and what special things each like. They are kind not only to the residents but my special needs brother and I also. No matter what is requested, they are happy to do it. The are excellent ambassadors for the meadows!! I also want to compliment Sam , the activities director on Friday and Saturday. She is patient with everyone and makes everyone feel special

I toured the memory care at this location over a year ago, but a not happy with the current place my mom is. I recently dropped by for a tour with Shauna and was stunned at the remodel! Can't wait to move my mom in to this beautiful and friendly place. Everyone was so attentive and caring.

After 1 great year and 2 declining service years at a high priced facility (The Commons of Elk Grove), it is so refreshing to find a place that is not so Corporate Run and there are passionate people who take great interest in their work! Place always smells like something good is cooking, staff are long standing and the Studio had new floors! It is not a grand looking place, but I feel like the bedding will actually get washed!!

Great place for our mother. Attentive and caring staff. Well organized. Only negative is the checkin process is overly burdensome and really quite silly. The software is pretty inflexible and non-intuitive along with inaccurate in identifying people (e.g., I checked in as my wife after she had already done so with a photo and nothing stopped me.) It really is quite annoying when there are more modern and accurate tools for such a process.

As a Hospice Chaplain, I visit patients at many facilities. I have been very impressed with all the staff at the Meadows, starting the moment you walk in with the wonderful greeting and care that Mindy brings at the front door. I am particularly grateful for the work of the Dej'ja, the Director of Memory Care Support. She makes sure that the staff interacts with all the residents in a variety of creative ways, which is so important for helping them feel included and engaged.

My Mom has been at the Meadows for over 2 years battling Alzheimer's. She is in Memory care and Dej'ja the current Memory care director, along with Mom's team, Saleshyni and Tisha, Med Techs, Kat and Cookie, her aids and all of the other staff members, I feel comfortable that she is well taken care of in a safe place full of joy and laughter. It' an awesome environment and Mindy at the front desk makes you feel like family when you walk in the door. Thank you to all of you.

My mother-in-law has been living at the Meadows for years. The facility is very good and well maintained. Her room is very comfortable. The team that handles her medication is meticulous and professional. For administrative help, scheduling, or handling any issues, Mindy is outstanding.

My mother fractured her femur and we chose The Meadows as her new home. I can’t say enough about Leah who from the beginning has offered support and encouragement . She answered all questions promptly and at any hour. The staff is amazing, not only caring but with a cheerful spirit. My mother tells us they check on her several times a day , offers their assistance and care. For anyone looking for Senior Living I’d suggest speaking with Leah and touring the Meadows . We are very glad we did.
