My parents have been living at Walnut Village for two years. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about the place. The facility is as beautiful as a retirement community in Anaheim can be. The grounds are pleasant and well kept. My mom and dad's apartment has a good layout (2 bedrooms/1.5 baths) and was completely repainted and carpeted to their design (within limits) at move-in. It's a very nice place to hang out. There are two restaurants; one for casual lunch and a second for formal dinners. The food and selection at both are very good. But the best part about this place is the staff. The people (from gardeners to nurses, to admin.) that work there are all super helpful, and seem to genuinely care about the tenants and their families. I wish there was a more active social scene. There are plenty of classes and planned activities, but they seem sparsely attended. This probably has more to do with the clientele than the facility. Most tenants are pretty well off and probably not accustom to fraternizing with their neighbors, much less apartment living. WV is quite expensive. So, doing a detailed analysis of your finances is critical. But if the numbers work out, I think you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to spend the last few years of your life. Note that WV is not for freshly retired and active seniors. It's more suited for the final third of your golden years.

Because of my husbands work in sr. housing, I have seen a lot of sr. communities. Having visited Walnut Village I can say it is one of the nicest, cleanest and most well designed places I have seen. Being right next door to Disneyland is a plus for anyone with grand kids.

I have seen many places who care or provide housing for seniors. Walnut Village is one of the top places I have explored (staff that go the extra mile to help and serve; smiles and happy people every where I walked; great food and activity options, great health care and a drop dead gorgeous facility and gardens). An amazing community of people. They have partnered with us to serve a free meal to the community for low income and homeless families, several times a year. These families get a 5 star meal that is prepared by their 5 star culinary team and who along with residents help serve also. The Oaks of Clearwater is more than just a retirement and assisted living community. Its a place where you can enjoy your independence, join an active senior living community, or create your ideal lifestyle, all at the best value available in waterfront living. This is what it says, but Catholics are not allowed to have a Priest visit residents for Holy Communion due to the personal beliefs of a higher ranking executive in The Oaks administration. This is wrong. If the goal is to "create your ideal lifestyle" I would say that not allowing religious freedom is very hypocritical.

My name is Donny Durrant. I have lived at Stoneybrook for 3 1/2 years. In this amount of time I have seen big changes, all for the good. When I moved here I would have rated a 3 for good but not anymore. We have a new Director that is not afraid to spend money on food ( 3 1/2 years ago our soup was broth now its full of nutritious food). Our Activity Director has made it a lot more fun to live here. Go on our Stoneybrook website and click the link to watch our YouTube video and watch all the activities of last summer. Don't worry this summer is starting out just as good. We have already taken our residents camping. Make sure to watch the video and see us in action having fun. P.S. I'm the guy that was flying at Ifly sports.

My father has been living at Atria Orange City for almost 3 months now and we couldnt be happier with the staff and service we received thus far. Initially my father was apprehensive about moving into an assisted living facility but now he absolutely loves living at Atria. Weve had questions and concerns along the way but have always been able to get answers and resolutions. If youre looking for an assisted living facility for a loved one, consider Atria Orange City.

I have absolutely loved working here! It is such a great and happy environment. It feels so much more than just work, it feels like a second home. Everything about the Gables is beautiful, the building, the staff, and the residents! All the staff are awesome and truly care for each and every resident in ways that I would be excited about putting my family into this building. I love each and every resident in there. They are so special and make you feel like a superstar. I love just talking with these wonderful people. They always seem to brighten my day and attitude towards everything! I would highly recommend taking some time to go in there and seeing for yourself.

We've been in Glencroft almost a year and really love it. Although we're not physically able to enjoy some of the many activities offered here, we still love just "being" at Glencroft.

The Gables of Shelley has such a wonderful staff of administrators, and aides that are concerned and caring about each of the residents that are there. The facility is always clean, and smells like "home". The aids treat the residents with love and compassion! I love to go and visit the residents there and to see their smiling faces and visit with them. They are sooo sweet! I recommend anyone needing their spirits lifted up, to go and visit the residents! Your whole attitude will change. Love you all!
