From my initial call to Tammy, I was very impressed with her via our phone conversation. She promptly scheduled a visit for my daughter and me to tour Gabriel Manor for my mother, who has dementia and could no longer stay at home. I am very satisfied with her care. The staff is extremely friendly and kind.

I toured Gabriel Manor with Ms.Tammy while looking for care for my wife. She was very informative and was willing to answer my many, many questions I had. The facility is very clean and residents seemed happy. I am now talking with our children to decide how we want to proceed. I appreciate Ms. Tammy’s kindness in this difficult situation. She goes above and beyond to help.

My Aunt has been in Memory Care for 2 + years. She feels safe and is content. The staff manage her care well and I enjoy the staff and residents. The manager and staff are very friendly, work to have social programs for the residents, family and staff. There is no such place perfect. BUT, in my searching and visits Gabriel Manor and its staff compares best for my Aunt.

Tammy took the time to thoroughly answer all of my questions and gave us a very nice tour of the facility. The community itself was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. You can truly tell they care about their residents. Unfortunately, it was not the right fit for my father due to his specific medical needs, but I would absolutely recommend others to tour and speak with Tammy if they are exploring assisted living options in Clayton.

Gabriel Manor administration and staff have been very attentive to providing care to my mom who has late stage Alzheimer’s disease. They were also helpful in coordinating hospice care for my mom. You will find a small family feel from the care providers here, something that is hard to find today.

I have visited several facilities with memory care for my mother. Only 2 of many passed what I consider high standards, the other place is an hour away. It was not chaotic nor loud, with a calendar full of a variety of activities! Each staff member that I passed greeted me with kindness and smiles. There are 8 patients per staff. After reading all of the reviews, it is apparent that most of the negative comments that have been posted are from disgruntled employees, being revengeful for their terminations and unfounded. Some of the negative comments appear to be from individuals not happy with the costs. Assuming that like most people, never planned ahead knowing and preparing for this difficult transition of life. I am very impressed with the facility and their current staff.

I have had no complaints until now. Although there have been many things I could have complained about, lost clothing, and many falls ending in visits to the hospital. I am not able to be there like I should so I never complained. But to get a call that my aunt has to leave because a doctor said she needs more care than they can offer and to be sent a certified letter a few days later that she will be discharged from the facility on 3/27. Placement is not easy and I would think that the facility would know that.

I started working with Gabriel Mannor at the end June this year. When I stepped into Gabriel Manor, I said this is where I want retire from. I was greeted by friendly staff and friendly residents. Some of the residents and their families know me by name. I love participating in activities with the residents and also engaging in conversation. If you have a passion for working with the elderly, then Gabriel Manor is for you!

Having to place a love one into a facility is the last thing we ever want to do. Unfortunately, this decision came. Gabriel Manor made this transition the best they could for us. Working with hospital staff for paper work, on the day of placement staying well over their schedule, helping move items into the room, welcoming family and client at placement, client care givers calling him by name (even the ones as we walked pass them going to his room), and 2 care givers coming right into his room to get him ready for bed, All of this was our first interaction with the care he would receive. Walking away was not easy but we knew his care was at a level we would give to him. Great place to help with the hard decision we faced.

Great experience working with Ms. Tammy Smith and Staff Members. Less than a month was able to get a move-in date for my Mother-in-law. The process went smoothly. I recommend this facility. Wish to thank all involved in making the transition stress free.

Faced with the long agonizing process of making a major decision affecting the rest of some ELSE's life, I began the process of searching for a place that I thought would give my loved one the care they needed while allowing them to maintain the dignity they deserved after a life of helping others diligently. Now they needed that same level of help. When I met with Tammy and toured the facility and saw how the staff worked diligently to care for people in this difficult and unfair situation, I knew I was at the right place. They have awesome programs that accommodate most phases of this disease. I left after that tour feeling assured, I had made the right decision. They have been and continue to be a wonderful staff of people focused on making the residents feel like they are at home. I also greatly appreciate the support they give to the family that has to make that decision as well.

For the most part, my experience with Gabriel Manor has been wonderful. The entire move-in process was well handled by Tammy Smith, who was professional and informative and helped in any way she could. The staff that I have encountered have been mostly wonderful, even though they are understaffed. I so appreciate those who have a heart for the elderly and their care! There was one incident where I could not find a staff member, and it concerned me that no one was within ear shot of the residents for an extended period of time. This turned out to be a wonderful nurse aid who got held up in a resident's room with shower and cleaning her bed clothes. Again, the understaffing issue. All in all, I would definitely recommend Gabriel Manor for the assisted living service!

I have entrusted Gabriel Manors with my sisters care and am very satisfied so far.. This is her 3rd facility and by far the best. The staff that I have interacted with are awesome, kind and caring. My sister seems to be quite comfortable there.. Since my last review approximately 6 months or more my feelings have changed drastically. I have spoke with Angela the administrator I believe and I am not sure if there will be a resolve. I'm not sure if it will be a resolve because once she leaves she has no control. I am concerned not only for my sister but other residence. I've come to the realization those residence are not getting the care they deserve. My sister is under Medicaid assistance with her social security for payment but that should not matter for the quality of care. I have spoke with Medicaid about my concerns and will stay on top of this for all the residence concern.

We made the difficult decision to find assisted living for my father in law in August. We could not be happier with the entire process and facility. Rosie did an amazing job showing us around and explaining things, meeting my father in law in the rehabilitation center, and arranging everything. What could have been a very confusing and difficult process, turned into a smooth transition. The staff and caregivers are very responsive and courteous to my FIL and to us when we visit. We feel confident that he is now taken care of and will be able to enjoy life now without worrying about the stresses of aging. Thank you Gabriel Manor for helping us!
