We moved our loved one in during a difficult time, COVID. As a family we were really struggling to keep Dad safe at home. From the first call were put at ease. The process of our screening was very thorough. The staff has been very good about letting us visit Dad outside through the gate, keeping a safe distance. Hillcrest and staff have been very attentive during this challenging time. Thank you for taking good care of our Father and his care needs.

Horrible facility. If you love your parents/aunts/uncles, please DO NOT put them in there. It always smells so horrible, the place looks very dirty, even the bathrooms for visitors were disgusting. Management sucks. Cecily doesn’t care one bit about the facility or staff. Madison doesn’t know how to be a managEr, she is lazy and corrupt. She talks shit about her own staff, instigates fights, brushes a lot of things under the rug and doesn’t report a lot of things that happen to save herself. When state licensing comes, they tell staff what to say and tell them not to say anything that is going on. The residents get neglected by management and staff. This place needs to get shut down or get new management team because they don’t know what they are doing. Residents walk around with poop all over, dirty clothes, oh and they had bed bugs in the whole facility not too long ago. The residents have scabies and they stay quiet to save themselves.

Toward the end of his life, my husband moved to Hillcrest, because he needed more attention than most facilities can provide. The staff at Hillcrest went above and beyond to give him the care that he needed--providing him a private room, placing him near the nurse's station, checking on him frequently, communicating frequently with our family, and, at times, just spending time with him. My husband passed away peacefully at Hillcrest, and the staff made it possible for our family to be with him 24x7 in his final days. Also, I just received reimbursement for my husband's rent for the days after he passed. And, I didn't even have to ask. I cannot commend or thank Hillcrest enough.

The facility is unique in that it combines assisted living and memory care, unlike most that house and devide them separately. My experience with my father is that he was much happier and and actually showed improvement. The staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. They appeared to give a lot of individual attention and my father really liked them. This place isn't "fancy", but it's secure, clean, well maintained and has a pleasant enviroent. My father was always very critical and picky about his food. At Hillcrest he rarely complained and that says a lot! I would recommend Hillcrest without any reservation. Even though it wasn't located closer to my residence, it was worth the extra travel time for my father's happiness.
