My mom lived at the fountains for 2 1/2 years until she recently passed away at 100 years old. Her time at the Fountains was an absolute delight for her as the accommodations were beautiful, the staff was professional, attentive and loving, and the community that she built, despite her trepidations about engaging with new people at this point in her life was wonderful and embracing. During this period, my mom had a health issue which required hospitalization and a short time in a rehabilitation facility. The Fountains staff helped us through this process, engaging with both hospital and rehabilitation facility staff, and never let my mom for a moment feel that she was on her own. When we were searching for a community for our mom, neighbors told us about the fountains and said that it was the best facility in the area. I was a bit skeptical about such assertions but now, after 2 1/2 years, I affirm that indeed the Fountains is the best!

My mom has been living in a cottage at the Fountains at Millbrook for the past 18 months and she's never been happier! She's made so many friends and is always so busy! She participates in different activities daily and when we speak every night, she tells how exciting her day was. Outings to museums and concerts, films on artists, parties, cards and of course grocery shopping! She loves the dining experience and the variety of choices! The staff is so caring and always makes the residents feel like family. I'd highly recommend the Fountains!

Our Mom has recently moved into The Fountains at Millbrook and we have had a very positive and supportive experience with the staff, specifically Ann Sheeley. She has been there for us and our Mom in so many ways. I feel like The Fountains truly tries to make their residents feel at home in their new home. It is such a beautiful place but it is the human beings and the caring staff that really make it special. I feel safe knowing that my Mom is there! Also, she is enjoying the food, making friends and following her passion of being a pianist all in her new home!

Everything about the Fountains is wonderful! The staff work tirelessly to ensure residents are comfortable and happy both in the independent living and assisted living! They have many different programs like art classes, stretch and movement classes, sing a longs and more! My siblings and I are so relieved and happy that our mom is living at the Fountains (assisted living)! We know that she is safe, well cared for and happy!

I needed to move my aunt from IL to NY and find her a nice place to live. She ended up staying at the Fountains for 10 years, and enjoyed every minute. The Fountains kept her vibrant and engaged. She started out living independently in a beautiful cottage and progressed to assisted living. The entire staff is fantastic and helped me with every bump in the road. If you are looking for a beautiful country facility for yourself or a loved one - the Fountains will be perfect.

What an incredible place to retire! From landscape, grounds, activities, meals, accommodations, services and staff- The Fountains at Millbrook is the perfect place to settle down at no matter what age! We moved our 87 year old mommy in last month and she transitioned well with the help of the amazing support staff. There are so many wonderful things to say that my advice is go, have a tour and see for yourself. My four siblings and I are grateful for The Fountains at Millbrook!

Our mom just moved into the Fountains in late March. The whole process has been so smooth and accommodating. The staff is wonderful from Ann and Stephanie in Marketing to Chris and the guys in Maintenance. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to downsize and have a common place to meet new friends- share meals- go on day trips- do art work- yoga- and the list goes on.

I’ve been leading a weekly Mindful Movement & Meditation program at The Fountains at Millbrook since 2022. Recently we’ve added a monthly Sound Bath with Crystal Singing Bowls. The residents who attend my programs are present, and curious about bringing movement, ease, and a sense of peace to their body, mind, and spirit. They offer insightful observations while also sharing with me experiences and embodied practices from their lives. Each week we enjoy a warm, connected space together. The Community Life team at The Fountains, led by Director Lisa Rieckermann, lays the groundwork that supports this kind of deep connection, wellness and kindness. Lisa is a multitalented, creative person with wonderful energy. But what makes her truly stand out is that I always feel her heart at the forefront of all she does to shape Community Life and their offerings. Lisa and her skilled team hold space for the residents with care and provide programming that speaks to the heart of wellbeing and the importance of living with joy and discovery at every stage of life.

I truly enjoy teaching here-it’s a wonderful facility with great caring staff and fun, interesting, and social residents! There is always a project, an event, a game or a class to attend- we do our best to keep residents moving, fit, and feeling good!

My parents lived in both Independent and Assisted Living. The staff proved to be compassionate and quite professional, providing a most positive experience. Community Life is awesome - there are many interesting programs (my Dad's favorite was music) and it is obvious that Lisa, the Community Life Director, puts in a great deal of time and thought into making a very rich schedule that truly helps the residents thrive.

It has been a privilege to serve as a vendor at the Fountains snd work wit Lisa Rieckermann and her staff. The residents respond well to the activities offered there. Each activity is carefully thought out and add an emotional significance and immeasurable dignity for all who decide to participate.

The Fountains is truly a community. My father has lived there for 6 years and I'm continually impressed with the whole staff. We review the activities calendar every morning and I'm so impressed with the variety of activities. So many exercise classes: chair yoga, zumba, Lucy's limber up, Alexander technique, Movement & Meditation etc etc. Other activities include: crafts, painting, flower arranging, carpentry, book club, sing along, concerts (everything from chopin, country, swing/big band, pop). There are movies every day to choose from. And new activities are offered all the time. I give the activities department a 10/10. The kitchen/food is great. They offer steak, chicken, seafood and vegetarian dishes at almost every meal. I get stressed if I have a dinner party, but the kitchen serves hundreds every day multiple times a day and it all tastes so good! The menus are restaurant-quality in a lovely ambiance with white tableclothes, high ceiling and large fireplace. The young servers do a great job, remember resident's names and are so kind and patient. A shout out to the Transportation department that is so much more than a ride. They have offered physical as well as emotional help. When my father called for help, they were there in a moment's notice (THANK YOU). Since my father is now wheelchair bound they make sure to schedule the van that picks him up in the chair so transferring isn't necessary. If the van isn't available they help me reschedule the doctor's appointment. I'd say they are THE BEST. We are grateful to have found The Fountains at Millbrook, a beautiful, caring community.

I am so glad we chose The Fountains for our mother. The grounds are beautiful, so many activities to engage in, the staff is caring and dedicated. Our mother has a spacious and wonderful apartment to enjoy and all the support... should she need. Ann from marketing made a very stressful time so much easier for us and our mother felt so welcome and supported. We are so thankful for all the kindness our mother is treated with and we are as well, anytime we are there. It's a relief to know we don't have to worry about what she is doing. She is in good hands.

My grand father was a resident at the Millbrook Fountains and they took extra special care of him due to his dementia. I would certainly recommend others to use this facility if they have loved ones requiring extra care!

Everyone at the Fountains has been so wonderful in helping and supporting my father transition and settle in to his new environment. The Employees are patient and kind, especially Samantha and her team with their assistance in ensuring my father makes it to and from his appointments safely. I am truly grateful that we decided to choose the Fountains to support my father in his elder years.

My mother has been a resident at the assisted-living portion of the Fountains at Millbrook for nine months and she is doing very well there! Her apartment is great and the staff are very friendly, kind, and take very good care of her. They have plenty of activities, and she also takes their shuttle bus to church on most Sundays. The facility itself has the feel of a college campus in a bucolic setting, which only makes it a more enjoyable place to visit, especially in the summertime. I am happy my mom decided to become a resident there!

For those of us who do not live near our elderly relatives, it is often difficult to find them a home which will fit their varied needs. The Fountains at Millbrook was just that place for our uncle. The grounds are beautiful, the attention and care given to the residents (however much or little physical or medical assistance they require), the services offered are all of excellent quality and just a phone call away. The staff is kind and good-natured and, though our family is spread throughout the globe, we know our uncle is in the best of hands. That gives us precious peace of mind.

We recently had my MIL stay at the fountains. The minute we walked in it felt very welcoming and not like a facility. We met with Ann from Marketing. She was very kind and helped us thru the whole process. The grounds are beautiful and very clean. We love how wonderful the staff is there. They truly care for all the residents. Nurse Linda is so amazing and patient. We highly recommend the fountains to everyone.

It is my pleasure to share my experience about the Fountains at Millbrook. Early September of 2023 I called several adult communities in desperation regarding my 90 & 91 year old parents immediate need of placement in a supervised facility. The Fountains was the only facility that called me back that Saturday, and the call was with an hour of my leaving a voicemail message. Their representative, Stephanie, was so kind and understanding and truly concerned about my parents and the situation our family was in and was also so eager to help in any way that she could. It was there and then that I made the decision to place my parents at The Fountains. An appointment was made for the upcoming Tuesday, a deposit was given and an informational binder was provided with everything one needed to know about moving, the facility and it’s services, the surrounding area and its resources and medical providers. I cannot stress enough how extremely helpful this was. My parents moved from their home in Pennsylvania, which they lived in for close to 30 years, within the month to a newly painted, carpeted apartment and surprised us all by making an amazing transition to their new life. The entire staff are the kindest, most accommodating people I have ever met. They do whatever they can to assist the residents and their families and do it promptly with a smile on their face and love in their hearts. My parents rave about the meals they eat there and the incredible activities provided for them to participate in. The transportation service to and from medical appointments is a God sent and having someone to help arrange those appointments priceless. Honestly, I can’t say enough wonderful things about this beautiful oasis in the middle of Dutchess County. I enjoy visiting my parents now, seeing them so happy and relaxed and knowing they are safe and well provided for. The attitude of the community both staff and residents have been so welcoming and helpful and I am so am grateful there was a placement available and for this life changing opportunity it gave to not only my parents but to our entire extend family.

I highly recommend this facility. From the first phone call I made to the sales director, I have been treated with professionalism and kindness. I had to find a facility for my mother in law. From the first moment she got there she loved the place. She would call me at night and thank me for finding her such a great home. She was able to keep her cat and dog, go to lunch and dinner or, if she wanted, to eat in her apartment. The maintence department took care of her fencing needs, hung her pictures, came back to move them and never questioned a demand she might have made. Whenever she had a medical emergency, no matter how trivial, she was attended to quickly and with great compassion. I was kept informed on her progress of her integration with the other residents and the lifestyle The Fountains promotes. When mom’s health started to fail the Home Health nursing department supplied us with everything she needed. She had wonderful round the clock care, they worked closely with HOSPICE to see mom through her final days. When she passed, some of the staff were crying as they all offered their condolences. I am so glad that Mom was at a location that was warm in their compassion and so professional. They helped our family so much. To me this shows the great core culture of this facility.
