The Landing has been the perfect home for our Mom for the past four years. It does not feel like many of the large institutional assisted living facilities we toured. It feels like a warm, loving home. I cannot say enough about the exceptional, caring staff. You enter and are greeted by the wonderful front desk staff, the Executive Director and Business Manager are always available to answer any questions I may have, and the Activities Director and staff are always thinking about different programs for the enjoyment of all residents. The nursing staff is incredible providing kind, compassionate care to my Mom. Anyone considering assisted living for their loved one should look no further. I am forever grateful to The Landing.

Such a FABULOUS place! My MIL is so happy at The Landing. She constantly raves about the quality of the food. She adores the chef and if she requests something special it magically appears within days. The staff are exceptional too and know all the residents by name and even a lot of the guests too! The activities and concerts keep my MIL happy and busy. The Landing has been such a huge hit for a woman that was VERY reluctant to move out of her home. She tells me all the time that she wishes she'd made the move sooner.

I have so many good things to say about The Landing. The staff is SO friendly and attentive, the grounds are gorgeous with lots of access to the outdoors even for residents with mobility issues, they have 2 proper libraries! and wonderful food. It was REALLY difficult for my dad to move from his home, but since being here, he has made friends and become much more active, and his health and quality of life has also improved since he moved in. I'm so grateful to everyone at the Landing!

My mother was a long time resident at Village Crossings, and it was a terrific experience. The staff was excellent, and the facilities always in perfect condition. Toward the end of her life, her level of care increased, and we could not have asked for better service and care that she received. Because of this atmosphere, my mother lived her last days at Village Crossings, being assisted everyday by the kindest people. I want to thank everyone at Village Crossings for many wonderful years. I don't know how we could have asked for more.

My father lived at Kindred Village Crossing for 8 months and although it was a tough step for him to take to move out of his home and into an assisted living apartment it ended up being more of an experience of coming home rather than leaving home. The facility has a warmth and loving energy that is hard to explain. I knew the moment I walked in it was a special place. We had toured a few facilities together but this one was different. It's cozy, the staff and residents are happy and so friendly. His apartment had a beautiful view of the field and woods and was equipped with everything he needed for safe independent living. The dining room and the meals are amazing! I enjoyed many delicious nutritious meals with him there and I always felt welcome by staff and residents. My father made friends and took part in many of the activities offered. He especially like the music offered several times per week and he frequently went to BINGO where he was quite popular with the ladies! The days he felt like staying in his apartment were OK too, he could even have meals brought to his room. The part that was so helpful to me was I knew he was happy and safe. During his independent days he was free to come and go as he pleased and when he required more help the staff were right there for him helping with his ever changing daily needs. I can't say enough about this special place at Village Crossing and the people that became like family to my Dad and me.

This place is just the best! Wonderful facilities, wonderful staff; a happy uplifting place with amazing food! My father could not be happier. It's like living in a 4 star resort with superb medical support. Lots of people lots of activities.

I first contacted Village Crossings when my Aunt needed respite care. The staff is warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. The staff went above and beyond to help me and my Aunt in an urgent situation. I met with several members of the staff who provided me with the resources, tools and the support I needed, which enabled me to get a permanent room for her at their facility. The nurses are fabulous and I know my Aunt is in great hands and besides she absolutely loves the food! I will always remember the experience and helping hands I received here. I would recommend this clean and vibrant facility to anyone.

I have had the opportunity to visit Village Crossings on several occasions. I found the staff to be very warm and welcoming, and the residents I met while visiting were clearly very happy to be there. They offer a variety of activities for the residents to participate in on a daily basis that they appeared to enjoy doing very much from what I observed. The property is also located in an absolutely gorgeous setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens and walking paths. Overall, I was very impressed during my visit to Village Crossings!

I have utilized Kindred's Village Crossing Assisted Living facility for respite care for my 95 year old mother. Whenever she goes there, whether it be for a day, or an overnight, or a week, the care is always excellent. She feels like it is her home away from home. The residents as well as the staff are super friendly and caring. She loves the activities, the food, and the clean and comfortable rooms. Best of all, I know that she will receive the best of care and that I have absolutely no worries that she is safe, loved, and in excellent hands.

Our family has been very impressed with the care at Village Crossings in Cape Elizabeth. My father lived at Village Crossings for the last year and a half of his life. He knew immediately he had found the right place and was welcomed warmly into the community by the staff and other residents. The nursing team is respectful, caring, and attentive. They listen to the needs of each resident and communicate clearly and in a timely manner with family. We visited often and enjoyed regular meals in the dining room and walks on the well-kept grounds. Dad loved the variety of options in the dining room and reading the paper in the living room or the library each morning. We were always taken with the number of activities and outing planned for the residents. Not only are there regular trips into town or to take in the scenery on a drive, but also the staff welcomes organizations from Cape Elizabeth to visit--creating a lovely relationship with the community. We couldn't have found a better home for Dad. In his final days the staff cared not only for him, but also for us. We still go back to visit and will for many years to come--it's a wonderful place.
