My Mom was at the Wyngate on the Assisted Living Side for nearly 2 years. She absolutely loved it. She had nothing but great things to say about it. From the food, activities to the facilities cleanliness and the staff. Now those were her words, I have traveled from Virginia and visited her there many times. I have observed the staff even when they probably didn't know I was watching. They genuinely care for the residents and take pride in caring for them. I believe I have met nearly every nurse, aid, kitchen & server, and management staff member. They always greet me with smile, kind words or a hug. Apparently my Mom made a lasting impression on them. In my mother's last few weeks they not only cared for her but also cared for me as I stayed with her. Many of the staff would come in to check on her when they got to work and when they were getting ready to go home. You hear only the bad things about senior living facilities around the country. I am here to tell you, this facility is amazing. I have had 5 other aunts and uncles, and many friends who have lived here and have never heard a bad word. I love this place and highly recommend it. THEY ARE GREAT!

My mother was there and I will never take her back. They are so nice to your face and on the phone, however it is the ultimate deception. Caregivers are rude, short tempered, over worked, underpaid and you will never get a straight answer. I wouldn’t bring my dogs there! Of course everyone has their opinion and this is mine. Check it for yourself

Sheila and her staff have been wonderful working with my mom to get my grandpa moved into the Assisted Living. I used to work for the company at a community elsewhere, and believe wholeheartedly in their mission. When it came time for my mom to think about getting my grandpa care, I urged her to consider Wyngate as I believe there is no better place.
