Loved this place, but understand the Executive Director is leaving after 25 years to work at another assisted living facility. I noticed on Indeed that there have been ads for at least three other Morningside House Exec Directors in the last two months. I'm concerned this says something about the parent company and how it treats their Executives. There must be a problem with so much turnover.

My aunt stayed at Morningside Friendship a few years ago, and the experience left a lasting impression on our whole family. The environment was welcoming, friendly, and consistently courteous. Every staff member we interacted with made us feel comfortable and supported. The food was outstanding ” delicious, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care. We enjoyed every bite, and I especially appreciated the healthy options available for my aunt. It’s rare to find a place that balances great taste with thoughtful nutrition, but they truly delivered. Overall, Morningside Friendship provided a warm, caring atmosphere and excellent service. I’m grateful for the experience and would happily recommend it to others looking for a supportive and well‘run community.

Morning side provided outstanding care for our aging mother. She spent 2 years with Morningside. First in their assisted living section eventually transitioning to memory care and with the assistance of hospice end of life care at Morningside. The entire staff, caregivers, administrators, housekeeping, ktichen are all top notch. Truly the most caring responsive group we could have imagined. We cannot thank them enough. I have spent18 years with Morningside House of Friendship. We still offer the same family friendly environment that has kept me here all these years. The caregivers cater care to each of the residents needs. Table side dining is offered at all meal times. There is an extensive alternative menu when your not in the mood for what is on the menu. Plant ops keeps the building clean and the laundry fresh. Morningside House is a great place to call home!

If you are looking for a place for your loved one look no farther. You found it. The staff from this assisted living home is the best i have ever seen. They go out of their way to make their guest as comfortable as possible. If there were 6 stars they would deserve it. They are all respectful and as friendly as you may come by. THEY ARE THE BEST!

My family had a great tour of Morningside House of Friendship. The Staff was so friendly and welcoming and very accommodating to our needs. My mom moved here a little over month ago. The staff is amazing in how helpful they all are to the residents and to their visiting family and friends. They address the residents by name and with smiles and respect. And my mom gets her meds and tasty meals on a regular basis.

The decision to place your love one in a long term facility is a difficult one. It took a lot of research and prayer on my part, but I am sure God lead me to this place. Overall, the staff is dedicated and caring. The facility is well maintained and the staff is always eager to assist. Their monthly calendar is packed with wonderful activities to keep our love ones engaged. I am grateful to have found Morningside House of Friendship. No one or place is perfect, but they do their best with generous spirits, love, and attentiveness. I highly recommend Morningside if you are looking for a place for your love one, you will not be disappointed!

Our family had a wonderful experience with Morningside House of Friendship. The their caregivers were very good to both my mom and dad, who were not easy people to deal with at all, even in their best days. Having piece-of-mind that they were safe, and not constantly worrying if they getting good nutrition sure made our lives easier. I highly recommend the facility, and a number of my wife and my friends have then had similar experiences with their parents.

I can't recommend this place enough! My Grandmama is a resident at Morningside, and she absolutely loves it! Lisa and her staff work endlessly to ensure that Grandmama and all the residents are comfortable, safe, and happy and truly feel at home. Everyone there is super friendly to my wife and I whenever we visit and they always go above and beyond to answer any questions we have. I feel very fortunate knowing that my Grandmama is in an amazing place where she'll ceaselessly be respected and cared for.

Remarkable Memories ~ When our Dad courageously declared he and Mom could no longer manage their lives on their own, we knew we had to find a place that suited their differing personalities and needs. At home, they were eating poorly, missing medications, and finding it overwhelming to do chores like grocery shopping. I am grateful to this day that we found Morningside House of Friendship. Personality-wise, Mom loved socializing and being pampered while Dad was averse to much attention; he preferred to sit quietly and observe, walk, read, and watch TV. Morningside accommodated their differences perfectly! Morningside House of Friendship is small enough that staff members came to know my parents as individuals. This is a major reason Morningside is stellar: staff members get to know the personality, needs, and preferences of each resident. On the flip side, Morningside is large enough that my parents didn’t feel like someone was always looking over their shoulders or that their world had shrunk too small. The longevity of staff was a major factor in the decision to select Morningside: many nurses, administrators, and other staff had been there for more than a decade. ...a good sign about quality-of-environment. The monthly calendar is full of varied activities. Mom loved jewelry-making, bingo, and more; Dad quietly enjoyed the movements and noises around him. He also loved to walk every day which Morningside accommodates easily with a paved walkway through a garden and another path to a gazebo. There are opportunities for worship, exercise, musical events, and contests. There is an in-house library, salon, and rehabilitation room. It is no small victory that my parents were pleased with the well-prepared and tasty food. And Morningside gave us great flexibility to arrange Mom and Dad’s unit to reflect their tastes and memorabilia by adding shelves, window treatments, and even removing bi-fold closet doors to create an alcove. As the Director and others gently reinforced This is their home. My parents have since passed, but to this day, I wish I could find the perfect words to convey how my very anxious and watchful family were utterly relieved, confident, and pleased by the care, comfort, and safety our parents found at Morningside.
