I recently was a vendor at a Christmas event for the residents. I hope that an impression from someone outside the organization or from a resident can give you a unique and unbiased insight into the facility. From what I experienced during the planning and the party, I truly felt that the staff wanted what was best for the residents and didn’t just go through the motions. The three staff members in charge had planned a well-organized party with a fun atmosphere and engaging activities. I could hear the interactions between residents and staff throughout the party, and it was clear they had a great rapport. The facilities were immaculate and had good security. Even walking through the halls, you could see a variety of upcoming activities for the residents displayed on the many TV screens. I am not in a place where I need a facility like this, but if I did, this would be a great place to live. The residents, who have wide and interesting backgrounds, were quick with a smile and conversation. You could tell they also had great friendships and relationships among themselves, frequently participating in activities together. I had a great experience, and by the looks of it and my discussions with the residents, they enjoy life at Westminster-Thurber as well.

As the owner a large homecare provider in Columbus, I want to share my experience over the past 8-years with the Westminster staff as we serviced residents in the facility. Especially, Amanda Bailey, more recently. She is always kind and helpful when I refer clients to their rehab, assisted living, memory care, or independent living areas. Tours, video calls, or timely information is only a call away. My referrals tell me they are treated with respect and treated with care and patience as they navigate what is the best avenue to care for their loved one. I couldn't recommend them as a facility, or Amanda, more highly having had my clients move in long term and many others who have had all their questions answered in a timely, professional manner. My two sisters (Diane & Janice) have been enjoying attending "Coffees" and "OWLS" programs for a number of years. We are all in our 80's now and are still looking forward to learning and sharing our adventurers. We drive in from different surrounding communities and meet up at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber in Columbus, OH for interesting and informative presentations like "Coffee" (once a month) or OWL'S (various schedules) and then enjoy lunch together at one of their delicious restaurants. We've added friends and family over the years and highly recommend this outstanding group of "Sharing the Way" advisors, teachers and creators. Thank You All!

Great place to explore about my future needs for senior living. They have monthly coffee concertos with presenters and snacks, provide tours of the facility, and all the workers are working rather than standing around. Multiple facilities at this location to meet the sizing and facilities desired. I get very quick response on any questions that I ask online. Definitely worth considering when you are looking for a senior facility.

Ohio Living (OL) has 3 independent living facilities at their Columbus, Ohio facility in addition to assisted living and memory care in another facility. OL has become the "Real Deal" to us since we moved into their newest independent facility, Heritage Pointe, in May, 2023. We are totally pleased with our apartment, the staff support and the programs provided, all for the purpose of Total Care, since moving in. We selected OL-Heritage Pointe in comparison with other Columbus metro area facilities for several reasons: 1) The reputation OL has earned over the years for Total Care from its residential population 2) The value we calculated and did receive, compared to other Columbus area independent living facilities. Such value was calculated prior to entry based upon the square footage of our apartment for the upfront cost incurred. We also compared what our monthly cost would be, including the element charged for food, compared to other Columbus area locations. 3) The location of the facility, range of facilities included and programs offered. We had a chance during the 2.5 year period of our initial deposits prior to move-in to verify what OL was offering. Heritage Pointe is located very near Downtown, on beautiful Neil Avenue, a 100 yards from Goodale Park, a half mile from North Market and a vast number of retail establishments in the Short North . This is a "Winner Take All" facility because of the friendliness of Staff and our fellow Residents and the availability of care when, in the future, we may need it. One of us has already used the services of a professional physical therapist.

My wife and I attended "Coffee Time" on Feb. 13th. Beautiful building, great pastries & wonderful views from the Heritage Tower penthouse auditorium. The speaker, Mike Thompson of WOSU, gave a very interesting and informative talk on broadcasting. We're really glad that we attended!
February 2024
I attended my first Coffee Time at Ohio Living Westminster Thurber in the Heritage Pointe Community Room. It is offered monthly and is free to attend. Mike Thompson of WOSU gave a fascinating talk about how the news is gathered, written and disseminated. The questions asked by the audience were insightful and interesting. Thank you, Ohio Living, for offering this activity to residents and visitors!

When I did a concert at Ohio Living, I found the audience to be extremely engaged, friendly, respectful, participatory, and appreciative. A performer couldn't ask for anything more.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming! The facility was clean, safe and there are plenty of activities happening weekly to stay busy. Walking distance from shopping and close by movies, parks and fun.

We are very happy at the Westminster Thurber Retirement Community. We've been impressed with the staff, facilities, & residents from our initial visit on. The longer term residents have shared how much they enjoy living here. It is a vital place with a wide variety of activities & ways to become involved. The facility is progressive & residents are supported in initiating programs they feel strongly about, such as the recent initiative to compost our garbage. They are in the process of developing an onsite daycare for the children of the staff which will be an enrichment for both the residents & the children. They provide ways for the residents to remain active in the community & bring the community into the facility so that everyone can enjoy things they may not otherwise be able to participate in. The dining room food is quite good & meeting people there is a very convenient to socialize & get to know other residents. Our apt is lovely & it looks out over the Goodale Park & a large dog park is located next to the complex. The location in the city is great: close to downtown, the Arena District, the Short North, Grandview, & the newly constructed CVS & Lucky's Market. All-in-all, we are very happy & we regularly recommend Westminster to anyone who is looking for a life-care retirement community!

As an eight year resident at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber, I am very happy. Apartments in the new towers offer refined accommodations. Urban living with shuttle service to downtown and other locations is great. I enjoy participating in structured activities as well as being able to swim laps in the indoor pool. The culture of the community supports comfortable transitions as one ages.

I became a member of the Ohio Living Westminster Thurber community 9 months ago. The more that time passes, the happier I am and the more I know that I made the right decision by choosing to live here. I had expected my apartment to be beautiful and it is in every way. What surprised me is what a wonderful community of people live here! I had been a little uneasy about moving into a community of people after living alone in my own house for many years. I enjoy the company of others but I also enjoy my privacy, peace and quiet. I find that my apartment is very quiet and I can have all the privacy I want. To my surprise I find my community of friends and neighbors to be one of the best things about living here. My many neighbors are friendly, interesting and engaging to a one. There are so many activities, both formal and informal that go on here that I only regret that I don’t have time to participate in nearly as many as I would like. But of course there’s no hurry because I have all the time in the world. I might add that I have a couple of friends who moved here from other, similar retirement communities. They say that while their former homes were certainly more than adequate, that they greatly prefer Westminster Thurber. The administration is much more attuned to operating things according to the wishes of the residents and not just those of some corporate entity. And they tell me that while their former neighbors were okay, that they find their neighbors here to be much more friendly, interesting and fun. Moving to a retirement community is a big decision to be sure. But I have never doubted that I made the right choice when I chose to live here. In fact it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!
January 2024
Having lived in Victorian Village for nearly 50 years, my wife and I were very familiar with the benefits of living in the Short North with its proximity to so many amenities and its walk-ability. We also had experience with OLWT since my mother had lived here in the 1980s and then along with several good friends in the intervening years. Deciding to move to OLWT for our senior years made absolute sense especially since it allowed us to stay in our neighborhood as opposed to so many such facilities which are often in isolated locations. We had been particularly impressed with the layout design of Goodale Landing units and, with the decision to build Heritage Point with similar layouts, plus views of Goodale Park and the downtown, we were eager to sign up. The design of our unit has allowed us to incorporate all of the elements of our previous home but in a very manageable way and with great views of the city. Most importantly, the discovery of an active, involved community at OLWT has been amazing and has expanded our circle of friends immeasurably. Some added benefits are that we’re a block away from an entrance to the regional bike trail system, we have direct access to the interstate system, and the CVS and new Lucky’s grocery store are right next door “ senior living at its best!

My wife and I decided it was time to leave free standing home and embrace the security and convenience of a senior community. After checking out nearly every available option in the Columbus vicinity we selected Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber. We’ve been here for seven months and are very content with our choice. Everyone contemplating senior living options owes it to themselves to examine the Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber option.
December 2023
I'm recovering from Covid. During the past week my neighbors have delivered mail, flowers, cards, chicken soup, dinners, cookies and other snacks. They've called to check in, offered to shop and generally have warmed my heart. 5 . Who wouldn't want to live in such a caring community ?
December 2023
Great place. We were willing to wait years to get into the place we wanted. Educated, intelligent residents make great friendship circles. Wide range of living levels--from independent living to memory care and more. Medical facilities on site. Proximity to downtown, Short North and Grandview restaurants, etc. We are incredibly pleased to be here. Attached is a shot ftom our window.
December 2023
We moved to Westminster-Thurber's Heritage Pointe building in May 2023, and we are extremely pleased with our decision. We especially like the fact that there are two restaurants; covered parking; facilities with plenty of space- multiple lounges, large apartments, a large community room, and a party room on the 11th floor that looks over downtown Columbus! Location is one of the most important features of Westminster-Thurber. We enjoy being a part of on-going life beyond the Westminster-Thurber campus. We are among people working, going to work, walking their dogs, playing in the park, raising children, couples holding hands, etc. This is important, because it keeps us young and interested in life, and we are not just among those who are retired. Before moving here we did quite a bit of research into senior living options available in the Columbus area and we found that most (even highly rated ones) are located in remote areas, away from anything else, so that you have to drive (or be driven) to get anywhere. And that is what sets this apart from all other places, a walkable location that fulfills many of our needs while saving energy at the same time: CVS is a block away; Lucky's grocery (next door) is still being built, but will be available in the spring 2024; and our Primary Physician is right here on campus. We can walk to Huntington Park (baseball), Lower Field (soccer) and Nationwide (hockey); to the North Market for specialty foods; to High Street in the Short North for restaurants and shops; and Goodale Park is a block away. Because Westminster-Thurber's four buildings are connected by covered passages, we can walk through all four on the inside even when it is freezing or raining outside. The walkability here is a win-win - it is the best exercise there is - especially out in fresh air. We save on polluting energy, and we improve our health at the same time. In addition, Westminster-Thurber's apartments use less energy than separate houses or connected townhouses. We encourage everyone to consider their energy consumption when they are choosing senior living: walk more and drive less. Your grandchildren will thank you.
December 2023
I’d like to take a moment and thank the team at Ohio living Westminster-Thurber for taking great care of My very needy grandmother who was with them for about 4 months. My grandmother was there for some therapy and wound care. She is now home and doing well. Special thanks to Mike and Kelsey for helping with everything to make sure she had a great and safe discharge home.
December 2023
For my husband and I it was a journey of five years, interrupted by Covid before we finally moved to Heritage Pointe at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber. It wasn't a quick decision, we had checked out other senior living organizations, but none appealed to us as much as OLWT. In June this year we walked through the doors of our brand new apartment and immediately felt we were "home". There is an amazing community spirit and a wonderful caring staff, you never feel alone. There are so many ways to make friends, join a card group, dine with neighbors in the main dining room, take an outing in the OLWT bus, get fit in the workout center, either on your own or in a class, attend the classes offered on a variety of relevant topics, attend chapel, join a committee. For anyone contemplating senior living, follow the road to Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber, join our community, you won't regret it.
December 2023
We are very happy about our decision to move to Heritage Pointe at Ohio Living Westminster Thurber. The apartment, the staff, the amenities are superb. Best of all are the people in our community. We also enjoy all of the benefits of living in the Short North.
December 2023
I recently had the pleasure of presenting a short, "History of Columbus" talk to attendees of a morning coffee gathering at Westminster-Thurber. I loved every minute of it. There were more than 80 people in attendance. They were attentive and inquisitive and had plenty of questions for me, afterward. The 11th -floor gathering space was also beautiful. Thank you, all, for making my day!
November 2023
My husband and I moved into the new OLWT building, Heritage Pointe, in May. We both agree it was the best decision we have ever made. Our apartment is gorgeous, and the welcome we got was unexpectedly warm. Since we have been here, we have been enjoying the pool, fitness room, restaurant, educational programs, and, most importantly, the people. I love the proximity to downtown -- free rides to the theaters, restaurants, and stores nearby. If you are even thinking of moving here, get on the wait list! When your name is called, you will not be disappointed!! We love it here!
November 2023
I checked out several retirement communities before choosing Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber. I eventually chose to live here because it has a better recreation, education and social program than any of the others I looked at. I chose a small apartment in Thurber Tower because I wanted to downsize. Thurber Tower is also the activities and social center of the community, and I wanted to be where everything goes on. I have a beautiful view of the downtown skyline and friendly and supportive neighbors. My dog likes the neighborhood. I ate at other communities as I was looking. The food at the restaurant here is definitely superior. The front desk is very helpful, and building security is excellent. Maintenance has been very responsive for the few problems I've had. Perhaps, the best feature is the life-long care I will receive. I will never be asked to leave. This is not to say that everything here is perfect. We're old folks. We like to grumble. But I am very happy in my choice to live here.
September 2023
Westminster-Thurber is a great place to be a resident. We have been here since the opening of a new building, called Goodale Landing. We moved in early 2016. We like the community and we enjoy the company of other residents in the community. We appreciate the efforts of the management and staff (in alphabetical order -- in the activities, administration, culinary, housekeeping, maintenance, medical, security, social services and spiritual areas) very much. The people who work here are dedicated, friendly and professional. Their common goal is to make the life of all residents better and more meaningful. As a result, Westminster-Thurber is an award-winning community. We are residents of the so-called "independent living" area. A few years ago both of us were temporary residents in the rehabilitation ("rehab") area of the community. Each one of us stayed there after surgery for a limited time, 1 and 2 weeks, respectively. We had nothing but positive experiences there in terms of nurses' care and attention, food, medical care and therapy, physical as well as occupational. Before we moved to Westminster-Thurber in 2016, we visited other independent retirement communities in Central Ohio. Westminster-Thurber was the place that we preferred over the other communities. It was the closest to our expectations. We are glad and satisfied here, since all our expectations have been met. We suggest that anybody who wants to live in a retirement community should go through a similar visitation and inspection phase before making a decision.
March 2023
I chose WT because I had been here 12 years ago to recover from heart surgery. Once again, I needed help after another heart procedure. I was just as impressed with this short term stay as the previous one. Staff is outstanding. Only complaint was getting into the facility and leaving due to all the construction. I highly recommend this facility for long and short term care. I love that the rooms are big and there is a bathroom right in the room. Most convenient for my needs. Thanks again for your caring help WT staff You're the greatest!!
March 2023
Staff is friendly, professional and they are knowledgeable about how to care for older adults. They have been awarded the Great Place to Work certification and been voted by the readers of the Columbus Dispatch as the CBUS "Top Pick" in Senior Living for seven years in a row (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022). The location is amazing.

I met with the Social Worker Rachel Kline, she was very pleasant and helpful with information that I inquired about.
December 2022
We have lived here for almost seven years and have never regretted the choice to live here. We have great neighbors and have all the amenities we need. The location is great and very convenient.
December 2022
My wife and I have lived in an independent apartment at Westminster-Thurber for the last seven years. It was a big relief to let go of the responsibilities of a house. The staff here works hard to make this a special place to live. We are still glad we made the move to W-T.
December 2022
I've lived here in Thurber Tower now for 4 1/2 years and I love it. My apartment looks over downtown Columbus. Have made many wonderful friends here. Great staff. Glad yo I made the decision to move.
December 2022
My wife and I have lived here for over 6 years now. OLWT has been a wonderful place to live. There are many activities available and one can always find people here with similar interests. There was a lot of music prior to Covid and the music is coming back. I have been involved in OWLS (Older Wiser Lifelong Scholars) which has been putting on educational programs for over 25 years here on our campus. There is a good library here, but Columbus Metropolitan Library also delivers our requests once every 2 weeks. We have trips to the Clippers baseball games and to the Crew. Baseball particularly is an easy walk from here. The freeway system is hand for driving. The is also a shuttle available to shopping centers, banks, and tours such as holiday lights and fall foliage. We life in Goodale landing. The insulation is great and keeps the place quiet even from the inner belt which is nearby. It is a wonderful place to live.
December 2022
This is my home now with so many fine people and staff. Many activities are available for participation and transportation to events away from the community. There are areas of service which need improvement: Food preparation. presentation and selection(need to be nutritionist approved) and everyone needs some help with physical therapy to help with a sense of well being. Giving a response like this with name attached is unsettling but you asked! Note the 4 stars. DMA
December 2022
Westminster Thurber has been a wonderful experience. No lawns to mow. No snow to shovel. No house needing new paint job. We have enjoyed the food and the activities available - Always something going on.
November 2022
Like most facilities of this kind, some things are slower than you want. However, in general, it's a great place to live, and the people living here and working here are mostly fabulous.
November 2022
Westminster-Thurber is a very friendly, caring, and active community. I did not consider any other retirement community because my grandfather and my parents had lived here. They lived their lives to the fullest. I enjoy all of the various activities and, of course, all the new friends I have met since living here.
November 2022
Congrats on the award. Not surprised though. I had several family members living there in the late 1990- 2000. One was a retired RN so she was particular but never had one complaint. (Lillian McMillan). One of the staff stopped to visit my aunt when she was on vacation because my aunt was failing. That touched by Aunt Lillian and I was so grateful too. Being a nurse myself, I am always looking at detail but never found any flaws at OLWT! The care was excellent and the living arrangement was very good.
August 2022
I shopped around and researched many competitors before this location was selected. My parent has lived here for 5 years in memory care. She is wonderfully loved and cared for with the highest quality and compassion.
April 2022
This is a beautiful community and an organization that has a heart for their residents. The community is very clean and the d©cor is modern.

I have been a resident since 2016 when my husband and I moved into Goodale Landing. We loved it from the start. Beautiful apartment, great staff, most of all, great people. My husband recently passed away at home with Ohio Living Hospice Care. They were wonderful and helped me so much. This is a Community of caring loving people. I serve in many ways because this is a place where you want to give back and serve.

In behalf of my sister, Nenita Macanan, staying in your facilities and currently under your care, thank you so much for having her She appreciates so much the attention given to her as attested to her several emails that I had received.

Ohio Living is a vital community and I especially enjoy the opportunity to engage with other residents through volunteer activities. These involvements allow me to support others by using skills and experiences that I have enjoyed accquiring over a life time and this seems to me to be the ultimate investment of the leisure time that now graces my life.

Recently, I fell from a ladder and down a full flight of stairs. I sustained many injuries including a broken illium (pelvis), multiple fractured ribs, double fractures of my radius, a fractured tibia, tissue damage in my knee, and injuries to my shoulders. When I arrived at Westminster-Thurber, it was the last place I wanted to be - I wanted to go straight home but my injuries were too extensive and I had a long way to go to be ready to "be on my own". In a very short time I realized I was exactly where I needed to be. I spent 11 days in the hospital and now a total of 11 days at Westminster. It's been an amazing experience here. Of course the facility is very nice and the room is very comfortable and pleasant. Every day housekeeping comes and makes your room spic and span! Tasty meals are delivered to your room or dining room. The nurses are very conscious of your need for pain medication and are careful to deliver it when due. The nurses aids were so attentive and helped in every way they possibly could. I required a lot of care but no one ever seemed irritated by my needs. They were skilled, prompt, compassionate and friendly. I loved my physical therapists and occupational therapists. They asked questions to understand me and my needs once home. They communicated well my goals and how to accomplish them. I received therapy every day! My healing has been remarkable! Everyone here seems to believe they are just one member of this "team" and all work together toward the same end. Social services was involved from the very beginning to address any questions or concerns I may have had. And at my time of discharge, made all the arrangements for equipment and home health care. In the future, I ever do need rehab services or if my husband does we will definitely come back to Westminster-Thurber and will recommend them to anyone we know. Farewell to all the people who served me so well. Thank you so much for everything you did to get me back on my feet! You are amazing and I am greatly blessed because of you!

We had the privilege of taking my family member to WT for rehab. I can’t say enough about the wonderful staff and the care that they provided. Everyone went above and beyond for him. We were updated frequently and always aware of the situation. If we ever have to do a rehab/facility stay again then we will definitely return!
March 2021
My Father came to Westminster Rehab for therapy. Admissions team was absolutely hard working and got the job done to implement needs for my father. The day arriving staff was professional, friendly, and welcoming. My Father felt right at home from the moment he arrived. Orientation and expectations were reviewed and expedited. Nursing staff on the Rehab unit was amazing thoughtful and very caring (Estella & F. Adams was Great!). The aides were also very nice and helpful (Chanel). The therapy department was EXCELLANT - this is why my father came to Ohio Living - a job well done - met all of his needs - Above and beyond. Social workers are a step above they coordinated my fathers home therapy and made sure a follow up doctor appointment was made and prescriptions were ready for pick up when he left. When my father discharged, home therapy from Ohio living came and did a home evaluation and he no longer needed oxygen or additional therapy. Big Thanks to every part of the team from beginning to end .

The staff is amazing! The residents are well taken care of and the staff know so much about them on a personal level - it’s the next best thing to being in their own home ! I recommend asking for a tour when they are available and pay attention to staff interaction with our parents/ grandparents. It gives our family peace of mind knowing they are in a secure, clean, friendly, autonomous environment!

"I wanted to let the team at WMT know how deeply appreciative I am for all that you did for [my father]. He very much enjoyed his time there. WMT is a special place for many families. I will always be grateful and appreciaytive."

Wow, what terrible reviews for this facility. My review is not based on the care I received but the facility. I must say since the last time I was there for rehab which around 8-10 years ago the facility has changed. What was a luxury rehab to now is now run down and needs major attention to both interior and exterior areas. The paint is old, lamps are stained or needs replaced, the dining area on the floor is not inviting, there are stains on items and needs a major cleaning. What is with the towel shortage? I had to ask everyday for those and times I had to dry my face on paper towels. As for the staff I did not have any issues and they accommodated me with care. I recommended several employees for employee of the month as they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. However, there needs to be major adjustments with staffing. Here are examples; a nurse had to work 36 hours because no one came in to take the next shift, this is not permissible and unsafe. (the weather was fine) Don't get me wrong the nurse did the best they could because they loved their job and the people in the facility, there were times the aides did not show up for their shift which caused a burden on the aide who did come in, one aide to care for 16-17 patients is uncalled for and unsafe. Thankfully I was in for rehab and not after a major surgery. The PT and OT were great with me! And yes sometimes came across harsh, but that was their way to motivate me to do my best and gain my strength and confidence. My opinion to the owners of this facility invest in this property and your employees this would become the Westminster Thurber that I remember!

My father has been at Thurber for many years and for the first several years it seemed like a great place while he was in independent living. My last visit I had a much different impression. The dining room was actually quite filthy with stains all over the dining room chairs and floors. Food had gone downhill too. Then my dad and his wife needed to go to assisted living. Not too bad but they soon needed to go to the next level of care. 17K per month! Covid hasn't helped and we can't keep a closer eye on him or even know what this new living arrangement is really like for them since there is no inside visitation yet. My dad and his wife can't sit at the same dining table together due to Covid but they can share the same room. What, Thurber? And it's clear that nobody is taking the time to give him a haircut or even trim his nails or give him a clean shave as he deserves which shows me there is a lack of caring on Thurber's part of the resident's dignity in their last days. As I said before, disappointed in what I'm seeing the past couple of years at Thurber!

Had the opportunity to tour the facility and surprised by how nice it was. I dive by the buildings all the time and never knew how much Ohio Living has to offer in such a great location. This is a must for anyone looking for great care in a great location of Columbus!

There aren’t enough words to explain how truly blessed my family was to have my grandfather in the care of Westminster-Thurber. He had been placed in their rehabilitation facility a couple of times over the years, which was always a pleasant stay with caring staff. Most recently, my grandfather was placed in long term care, where he was constantly surrounded by educated, thorough, and dedicated staff. In his final days, our family was treated with so much care; from nurses, the Chaplain, hospice, and Westminster-Thurber staff checking in on us, to staff providing us with a snack and drink cart so none of us would go hungry during our time of grief. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone looking for short or long-term care for themselves or a loved one! Thank you Westminster-Thurber!

From the first moment you walk into the building, the greeters made us feel at home and that speaks volumes to me. My dad has been in Westminster-Thurber for rehab in the past and most recently was a long term care resident. I cannot say enough about the care that he received during his stay and the support that was given to my family. I visited several other facilities prior to placing my dad here and none of them compared. From the nursing staff, kitchen staff, aids, Chaplain, Dr. Kanter and nurse practitioner Katie, we cannot thank you enough! You made it so much easier on us knowing we could leave my dad and he would be taken care of. We want to give a special thanks to Bob from Ohio Living Hospice and everyone through Ohio Living Hospice for all the extra care provided for my dad. My Dad definitely had a few special staff members that he really liked and we will miss: Stephen, Princess and Kelsey Tracee Collins/ Hartwell Family

My mother recieved the best rehab care here at the Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber Rehab Studios before moving into an Assisted Living apartment. Staff became her friends and positively impacted her quality of life right up until her peaceful passing in 2016. Our family is forever grateful.

My husband and I, as well as our dog Mitzi, have lived at Westminster-Thurber since 2012, in two different buildings. We first researched the "continuing care retirement" organizations in the area when choosing a place for my mother to live, so we were already familiar with (and sold on) Westminster-Thurber when we decided to sell up and move here. In addition to finding the staff to be focused on residents' well-being at all times, we have found many new friends here and really enjoy being so close to downtown Columbus and all the opportunities it offers.

My mother-in-law spent her last decade of life here and late in her life, my wife and I and our dog moved in. OL-WT took wonderful care of my mother-in-law, including living up to their commitment to continue her care even after her money ran out. Our dog loves life here and we enjoy being with the friends we have made.
