When my wife suddenly had to confront a series of debilitating health issues, Sunrise provided the support and safe living accommodation that she needed. I visited a number of assisted living facilities searching for a good place for her, and found that Sunrise had both a mature, veteran management team, and professional, caring aid and medical support staff. In the time of covid, with elder and otherwise medically challenged people most vulnerable, and with the staffing struggles industry wide in the midst of a pandemic, it was clear that Sunrise was doing a superior job of supporting staff and keeping the focus on the care of their residents. Sunrise has been a great help and a source of reassurance in this time of personal upheval.

After looking at several different facilities I decided to move my elderly mother here after she was unable to live independently anymore. The staff is very invested in the residents here, they all know her by name, and the quality of the care that she has received is first rate. The residence itself is very homey and comfortable with a spacious dining room, outdoor patio and many lovely common areas. All of the department heads are available if need be and are responsive to any needs or concerns I may have. But most of all, my mom feels like she is home. Highly recommend!!

Sunrise of Edina has been the perfect place for my mother while she waits for a bed in a nursing home, one that accepts Medicaid once a "spend down" has been reached. I would have given 5 stars if not for this. Despite being a bit understaffed, all the weight continues to be pulled, i.e. they are looking to hire a new maintenance person, but in the meantime the the head of depts. are rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. They offer extraordinary personal care and respect, and the facility itself is extremely clean and lovely. The staff have bent over backwards to help my mother, even though they know she is only going to be there for a limited time. The communication with me has been outstanding as well. I feel part of a team. I was concerned at first because they don't have 24/7 nurses on duty. Instead they have "medication managers." But my worries were laid to rest once I saw how quickly Dr's and nurses can be reached at all hours to take charge of any situation. I am so grateful I found this place. My mom is the happiest and most active and social she's been in years. If you can afford it, I highly recommend Sunrise.

Our Mom was there for 2 months before she passed away. The staff was awesome. They were friendly, helpful, and they took very good care of Mom. She was able to enjoy 3 meals a day in there lovely dinning room. And she enjoyed the bingo and she got to color, which she really enjoyed. I highly recommend sunrise of Edina.

My mom lived here for the last 17 months of her life. Staff monitored her closely, giving her companionship when she needed it and giving her space when she needed it. They kept me well-informed about her health and treated me as a partner in her care process. Sunrise of Edina completely changed my paradigm of what senior living could be. I remember the drab rooms and hallways that my grandparents lived in 30-45 years go. Sunrise is nothing like that.

My dad has only been here for 3 months but so far it has been wonderful! His prior stay at Covenant Living in Golden Valley was a complete nightmare. The people at Sunrise really care about him and make sure hes doing well. They communicate well with the family and we are always welcomed with open arms when we go to see him. Its nice to feel comfortable and to be at peace knowing my loved one is being taken care of.

My mother-in-law is at Sunrise of Edina. We have been very happy with her care. The people there truly care for her - and we love how everyone (including other families) know each other. It really is a community. If you want a place where the staff are amazing, and will truly care about your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa - I would highly recommend Sunrise!

When I toured Sunrise of Edina, I thought it was a nice community. Everyone was friendly and informative. They would not take my loved one because he would fall too much.
