I have lived at StoryPoint Saline for almost nine years. During most of that time services and amenities have been excellent. Over the past year lLife Enhancement (i.e. Social) activities have deteriorated. Experienced staff has been replaced by those less well trained and inexperienced. The result has been a deterioration in social activities. Many positions are now open, resulting in less efficient services in maintenance and administration.

My mom has been at Storypoint Saline Independent living for almost 3 years now and I go over to spend time with her many times during the week. When I transitioned my mom to StoryPoint Saline Memory Care I thought it would go well because the place seemed very nice. I was right and then some. The experience so far exceeded our expectations in every way - we are still amazed that they could contribute so much to this difficult journey for us. Everyone that works there from the caregivers to the directors to the chefs worked hard every day to help and support us. Their Connection Points approach directly addresses the far reaching complexity dementia brings to our lives and helps us feel a part of a community instead of isolated like we had felt before. We were there non-stop for the 3 weeks before my mom's passing and we got to see cared for residents, inviting spaces, interesting activites and extremely talented and dedicted caregivers. They - and amazing Makalya and Rachel - took such special care during my mom's transition to help ensure it was as peaceful and comfortable as it could be. We are so grateful.

Storypoint Saline has been absolutely fantastic with my mom. They made the insanely difficult transition to memory care a little easier, and they have been so supportive. Makayla and Rachel are just the best, they send pictures on days that I cannot visit my mom, and they never hesitate to drop what they are doing to help out on the unit when needed. I truly can't say enough good things about all of the staff, they are amazing with the residents and so patient and kind; they truly provide the best care, and I have never once questioned that my mom is in the right place. I have a great aunt and uncle who are currently staying at story point, and another aunt who previously was there before she passed. The time they have spent at story point was fully of great care and an exceptional work staff. Not only were they taken care of physically, but great effort was put into them enjoying their time. Daily activities are lined up and they really enjoy their time there.

From the very 1st time my Mom and I visited StoryPoint she was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, the welcoming staff and the amenities/services provided. This facility is so much more personal, cozy and home-like than the huge sterile communities in the area. It was a hands-down winner from all the other local communities!

The facility is beautiful, and the staff who run this community, are caring and dedicated-- especially the Life Enrichment Team currently led by Sydney S. This Life Enrichment team makes sure all residents have a wide variety of activities, performances, and outings to choose from, and encourages all residents to participate in some fashion. I lived there for 6 months in 2022-23 in a nice 1 bedroom private apartment with kitchen and bath, including all utilities. Everyone is kind and respectful. It is a quiet place with daily activities for those who want to join. The entire building is very clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The food is great. I would definitely choose StoryPoint when looking for a retirement home. 5 stars !!!

I have the privilege of working at StoryPoint Saline as their Life Enrichment Director and I can confidently say StoryPoint Senior Living is one of the best places I have worked. I would move my loved ones here in a heartbeat. The staff at Saline go above and beyond to provide the absolute best experience for the residents. One of my favorite things about StoryPoint is we encourage residents to dream big, no matter what stage they are in, on their aging journey. Want to fly a plane? Go zip-lining? Do a keg stand? Have a food fight? Ride a pony? These are all things that have happen within our various communities because the resident had a dream. Looking for a fun, fulfilling job serving seniors? Great place to gain experience as a server without the fast pace of restaurant dining. The staff are always kind and are willing to go above and beyond for the residents that live here. There is always a wide variety of food options that are delicious! An added bonus is that everyone is super friendly and the community is always trying to keep everyone included and not feel left out. The property is always clean and the grounds are maintained as well. They have the cutest fall set up all over the property with pumpkins everywhere! I enjoy coming to work everyday to this very inclusive group of people.

We were so impressed with her commitment to assist us when we were moving our mother to StoryPoint. At the Brighton facility they are working to handle the difficult changes due to staffing difficulties created by the pandemic and were wonderfully able to effectively help us care for our loved one during her recuperation from Covid. Story Point is a step above the rest. We have toured several senior living facilities in search of a place for our aunt. The facility is beautifully decorated and welcoming, giving you a warm, comfortable feeling upon entry. More importantly is a staff that literally treats you like family. They were so kind and friendly, we instantly connected with them. The empathy and compassion shown to us was overwhelming. We stayed for lunch and felt like we were at a gourmet restaurant, the food was delicious. The choice is clear, Story Point is the place we entrust to care for our aunt without hesitation!

The moment I walked into StoryPoint in Saline, I felt an immediate warm welcome from the front office staff and the cleanliness of the facility as a whole. They really know how to make it very warm and inviting for not only their guests, but the residents as well. I'm very impressed by the staff with their high expertise and positive attitudes. I have visited StoryPoint on a couple of occasions. The first time that I visited StoryPoint was for a service of a resident that I had cared for in another facility. I had a great experience, everyone that I came in contact with was very nice, welcoming, and there to answer any questions I had. Many of the employees even attended the service to show their support for their beloved resident. I am so lucky to have a friend who works in Wellness, and caregivers there. My friend Sandy in Wellness gave me a tour of the facility after a long shift, and was kind to every person she came in contact with. Having friends who are looking for a job, or looking to place their parents she is always willing to give me more information to pass along, or to give the proper contact so the family can get more information on the facility. Being someone who works in health care, and having past experience in assisted living homes I was blown away by StoryPoint. From the outside it is large and looks overwhelming but is very easy to navigate. On the inside very clean and every resident looks happy. There are many different signs placed throughout the building to help guide you, and if you find yourself getting turned around you are quickly able to find someone to guide you. At the service I attended, StoryPoint provided some of the food which was delicious. After visiting the facility, and other great things that I have heard about StoryPoint I would highly recommend it to who is looking for an assisted living home to place their family members, or to a person who enjoys working with the elderly to work.
