Many different and ever changing activities are offered so there is always a choice of ways to spend time. The residents enjoy and care about each other and have nothing but praise for the employees who work together to make Stafford Hill the wonderful place that it is.

We've been coming here for 5 or more years - the employees are so warm and friendly, the residents are happy, there are always activities and events going on, Matt and his crew are always on top of whatever needs to be done…… it's just a great place. We have family members who will need assisted living in the future, and we wouldn't consider any other place than Stafford Hill!

We were happy to move my sister to Stafford Hill. The staff treated us well and the other residents seem very happy. Susan B. has been a great help from the moment we met her. What we have learned in the two weeks my sister has been there is that every staff encounter, from the top down, has been exceptional! They are very accommodating and genuinely care about the comfort and well being of all the residents. This is truly an amazing group of caring people with a great attitude and understanding of what the residents need to enhance the residents stay at this wonderful facility. No one wants to leave their home but if you have to this is definitely the best place to go. I strongly recommend Stafford Hill with the highest regard. Chris Murphy

I’m writing a review for #Stafford Hill Assisted Living in Plymouth MA. My sister Mary was diagnosed with dementia 2 years ago. Her husband and myself had been caring for her since she was diagnosed. Eventually she needed care 24/7 which we thought we could manage between the 2 of us. When she fell and broke her wrist with her husband standing within a few feet of her we realized that she needed more than what we could give her. Number One-we wanted her to be safe in a caring and loving environment. We wanted a place where the staff would know how to care for her every need when and if necessary. A place she could be comfortable and happy and eventually call home. Well I am happy to leave a review for Stafford Hill. We found the perfect place for my sister. It came highly recommended to us by dear friends Dottie Foley and her daughter Julie. Julie was so excited to recommend Stafford saying “you will love it there, Mary will love it.” It was the 1st place Steve and myself looked at. It was the only place we needed to look at. Steve signed papers that day and a few days later we took Mary to see it. She was not happy about this whole situation. The only reason she cooperated and visited Stafford with us was because her only alternative was to have 24/7 care in her home by strangers. That was an absolute NO from Mary. To our surprise and shock she liked Stafford and she liked her apartment. It was so nice and the perfect size for her. She moved in shortly after. Even though she liked it and liked her apartment I did not think she would adjust to living there. I did not think that socially she would make many friends or join most activities except the gym. Anything to do with the gym we knew was a big plus for her. She was accustomed to Steve cooking all her meals and didn’t want that to change. Then 1 day she agreed to go to dinner with me. Not long after her 1st meal in the dining room she told me that I didn’t need to go with her. She had friends to go with. I was gob smacked but so happy. She takes almost all her meals in the dining room now. She now participates in most activity’s if she has time to fit them in to her busy day. She has a few favorites but seems to like most. She has not done art class yet as she has not had time. Art Class WOW The activities are all well thought out and executed by knowledgeable staff. It was amazing to me how the staff knew exactly what, how and when to do whatever they did to draw her in. Every one of the staff has been attentive, kind, friendly and loving. All have wonderful attitudes and good personalities. Most of the huge staff that I’ve met have worked there a long time. That’s says a lot!’ My sister is happy. She loves her many new friends, she loves being active again. She loves Gail and all the aids and staff who just appear constantly just to check on her, see if she needs anything or needs them to take her anywhere. They respond within minutes when she needs someone. She tries to keep a list to help her remember everyone’s name that interacts with her. The list is getting long. I was impressed as soon as we walked through the doors less than 2 months ago and I am still impressed. I don’t have any complaints-not a one. The facility is beautiful, clean and a happy place! It was never a chore for me to care for my sister, it was a pleasure but it is nice to be just her sister again and not her caretaker. The name Stafford is so appropriate as the STAFF @ Stafford is what makes this such a special place for your loved one.

With the need for assistance living for our parents, Fred & Gloria, we took the time to visit several places within the Plymouth area. We decided on Stafford Hill because it provided the best option for a family style of living, offered a number of interactive activities, and amazingly delicious food. We were very happy Stafford’s smaller resident community, which provides a more personable and friendlier environment. After our dad’s passing which was handled with such dignity and professionalism, our mom continues enjoying the community as well as her interactions with fellow residents. The folks at Stafford Hill are certainly mindful of her best interests, along with the well being of all its residents. They make this their daily objective which is certainly reflected in their social and dining activities. Her relationship with the staff is like having an extended member of our family looking after her. The loving care she receives is greatly appreciated and certainly a peace of mind. She may not remember everyone’s name, but the amazing folks at Stafford Hill certainly know her’s and repeatedly go out of their way to help her. My mother has been living at Stafford Hill for 6 years, following a few bad falls at home and no longer having the ability to safely care for herself independently. I truly believe that this move saved her life. As a daughter, and a nurse, I am so relieved to know that she is getting assistance with her activities of daily living, and with housekeeping and meals. She is keeping her mind sharp with constant activities throughout the day, and her mobility has greatly improved with the daily exercise classes and in-house physical therapy. It is such a relief to know that she is safe and cared for, as well as still maintaining some independence in her apartment.

We were fortunate to find Stafford and its caring staff. The staff works hard to find creative ways to build a community from wine socials to movie nights to trivia. The wellness staff has routinely gone above and beyond to assist my father, and the front desk staff often greets me with an informal report. The facilities are well kept and Stafford's proximity to downtown Plymouth permits easy outings. Like any such place be sure to read and understand all the paperwork and pricing, especially because the community is private pay.

Stafford Hill is amazing. We moved my parents to Stafford Hill more than 6 months ago and couldn't be more pleased. More importantly my parents are so happy there. Everyone is so welcoming and accommodating, including the Director, the nurses, caretakers, food services and maintenance. Everyone is always willing to help with any request and offer suggestions as this is new to all of us. Stafford Hill is a beautiful facility and my parents feel as if though they are in a new home.

A lot of residents came over to meet me and request some wonderful oldies. All the residents told me how wonderful Stafford Hills is to live there . We checked out several places in Plymouth before deciding on Stafford Hill. The apartments are lovely and and get lots of natural sunlight. From the beginning, all staff were attentive and friendly, and they take the time to chat with my mother-in-law when they pop in to check on her, give her her meds, etc. My MIL loves the happy hour and wine night, and immediately made friends there. She enjoys dining with her friends for lunch and dinner, plays bingo, paints, and recently invited us to attend an event for families and residents. The garden area is beautiful, and now that the warm weather is here, we'll be visiting more outside and enjoying the flower and vegetables gardens tended by the community members! I highly recommend this assisted living facility - the staff now know us by name and everyone is always super friendly!

If there were 10 stars Stafford Hill would receive it. Recently had to move my dad from the worst place imaginable (reviewed here) to the beautiful facility at Stafford Hill. To compare the two in the same light would be calling scratch graffiti the Mona Lisa. Retired with 35 years in business, our clients said we provided a level of service second to none. Today, its super rare to find. At Stafford Hill, they proceeded to exceed any expectations I had of them with a rocket. Janet, Jennifer, Kristen, Karen, and every person there shows commitment and compassion just like we are family. Who does that? Stafford Hill Staff have dad covered for any nursing needs and are starting OT and PT for dad. This is family folks from people who back up their statements with stellar service. Why do I call them magicians? Because you know you received service but didnt see how they did it. When the former facility cancelled ride for dad. Stafford Hill was there in a flash. Joe appeared saving the day. The staff pulled miracles twice more without a grumble Thats magic and its engraved into every single thing they do as their mission. When was the last time you were treated this well? The facility at Stafford Hill is immaculate, well maintained, very clean, a beautiful place with lots of windows and perfect dining facility. Meals are freshly made, by chefs who come out to see how you liked it. Only 5-star restaurants do this. Dad is eating again and is no longer is in a cramped room with another in his own studio. Magic, yes! Stafford Hill pulls this off at half the former price with full dignity and respect that 86 yo disabled vet deserves. Who does that these days and goes extra miles for you? Stafford Hill is run by a TEAM of professionals who know every inch of their business and exactly how to run it, plus actually have staff to do so. You will NOT find individuals operating independently in chaos with management asleep at the wheel doing 110. I want to emphasize the word team again, its unicorn rare and I cant remember receiving that level of teamwork like Stafford. I have never seen individuals, or a unit of professionals bend over backwards (with ease) and address every need in decades. Every single individual including energetic aides deliver service promptly by a smiling face, eager and able to help. The transparent communication is just outstanding and deeply appreciated. I am kept informed at every turn by loving calls from all levels at Stafford. I cant tell you the relief and worry lifted by this professional group of loving people and that my loved one that is not being warehoused. The activity schedule is off the charts and your loved ones will never be bored or sit alone to wither away. I have had no positive business experiences to review, but I have to honor this company. As a retired businessperson I highly recommend this outstanding group of professionals when the time comes. They have highest respect I could give yet unable to put all into words... The former place was known as one of the best in area so its a long way down to the bottom and not having the option of time, I made the terrible decision to put him at former facility. Dont make the mistake of a lifetime at the expense of your loved one. Fortunately, the beautiful people at Stafford have helped start the healing process and have given me something more than service, also unicorn rare, PEACE!!! Whens the last time someone gave you a bucket of PEACE? Highly recommend calling Stafford Hill and after one contact or visit you will know Stafford Hill to be the absolute best place to lovingly care for your family member in need just like their own family. I have no hesitation that you will be blown away with the service. I cant figure out how they do it because everybody gets it! Thats magic! Stafford Hill you stand alone at the top of your class, one of a kind, second to none. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone at Stafford Hill.

-Prior to moving to Plymouth in 2016, I spent a year doing my due-diligence to find the right place for my 92 year old mom, who I was moving down with us. -After walking into Stafford-Hill the very first time, I knew in my heart this was the perfect place-fit for mom....and I was 100% absolutely right ! -From day 1, Kristen and her entire management team-staff treated us like family. Their boundaries to assure proper professional ongoing medical, social, physical, wellness-care had no limits. They are present , visible, and easily accessible every day with excellent communication toward doing everything they can to provide the best quality of life for an aging parent. -Mom enjoyed every minute of her time at Stafford-Hill, especially all the many diverse activities which kept her sharp while having so much fun, and also making many new friends in her beautiful surroundings. They also worked very hard to help mom navigate gracefully over time from Independent, to assisted living, to memory care....all in the same building....a big relief to me. -I remain forever grateful to the Stafford Hill Team for taking such great care of my mom...especially when I had to tend to other urgent family medical matters. In my opinion, if youre looking for the best place on the South Shore to move an elderly parent...Stafford Hill is the place to go!

I had toured all the assisted living facilities in the area and upon touring Stafford Hill was so impressed I felt this would be a most wonderful home for my mom and very close to me.My Mom was so negative and fearful of leaving her home of 50 years but decided it was time .We moved her into Stafford Hill and two days after becoming a resident I received a phone call from her asking if she could stay there forever. I cannot say enough about the most wonderful compassionate and caring staff .She particulates in all the activities and entertainment and her life is full with friends and love.I am at such peace knowing she is so well taken care of and happy. My parents have lived at stafford for approximately 3 years. Their time there began together (mother and father) and now my mom resides there since my fathers passing. In our experience we have found the care, activity and food to be very good. My mother takes advantage of most of the activities and pre covid was constantly on the bus going on outings. We also enjoy the on-site add ons such as hairdresser, visiting dentists and podiatrists. The food is quite good and the chef makes his rounds during the meals which is a wonderful way of making the residents feel important and like they are dining at a great establishment. Most of the staff truly cares about their job and the people they care for. In particular, an aide named Gale has been so fantastic with my parents and we truly appreciate her demeanor, help and positive attitude. We have had experiences with many other places for seniors in Massachusetts and have found stafford to be the best.

The entire staff at Stafford Hill goes out of there way to make you feel welcome while visiting your loved ones. From the second I enter the reception area to the time I depart the facility. The CNAs all have such a great communication system where no matter who you ask about your loved one, they all seem to have the latest update on whats been going on and they work as a true team in caring for the residents in Aveda, which is where my folks resided for 4 years. The CNAs all seem to get along so well, the comradery between them is very admirable and that obviously comes from the top. Cant say enough about this great group of loving and caring individuals that work at Stafford Hill.

My father moved into Stafford Hill about eight months ago. He frequently tells me how much he loves it there. He raves about how friendly, helpful and professional everyone is from administrative to the waitresses and housecleaners. It is a beautiful facility, clean and bright. Nursing is very supportive and lets me know if there are any issues. My dad loves his room and the variety of activities and entertainment that is offered. I cant say enough about Stafford Hill! It was a smart move for us and I feel that dad is safe and well cared for!

I am presently giving my time for a few hours to one of the residents at Stafford Hil. I am impressed beyond words with the staff as well as the surroundings. It is warm and inviting, the food is very good, the upbeat feeling overall is wonderful. This is by far the best place to be if needed....over and above anyplace in Plymouth. Such ambiance and graciousness!!!!
