Sugar Grove does an amazing job with the residents. My mom has been a resident of Independent Living since last July. We could not be more pleased with the activities and attention given to the residents. Having her meals and daily activities taken care of has given her the ability to maintain her independence. We can rest knowing that the staff members are looking out for mom when we aren't available, from Jess at the entrance, to the administration , the dining room staff, nurses and therapists that are available. They all know mom by name and make her quality of life better!

My experience with Sugar Grove has been amazing. From the time my Aunt moved in till now, she has been taken care of by some wonderful people. Every time I visit, I am greeted by smiling faces, if I have a concern, the staff have answered my questions. I had lunch there, the food is good, I liked the menu options. My Aunt likes to be with her friends there and they keep very busy.

This is an excellent facility. They done an excellent job with taking care of my grandmother. The staff is very knowledgeable with the care of their residents and any questions that we ask are answered promptly and with knowledge behind it. The executive director is absolutely amazing and very welcoming. She definitely makes you feel comfortable with leaving the care of your loved ones in their hands. I highly recommend this facility for anyone who is looking to place their loved ones in the care of others.

Once again I feel I have to comment about Sugar Grove. This time...my cable isn't working. My neighbors is because I can hear his tv through the wall. I called the office to tell them my cable was not working and was told I would just have to wait until Monday because Lynsey just went into the cafeteria and Tera said she couldn't go in there to talk to Lynsey. Any way Tera basically refused to do anything about it. until Monday I guess. I was given names of 2 providers?..so which one do I call.

It has been awhile since I toured this place but I must say when I toured this community the first thing you get when you enter the doors is an overwhelming odor of urine. It was far too clear that with the extent of the smell housekeeping seems to be an issue along with the staffing to ensure that the patients are being changed when necessary. I definitely would not put my mother there since I've worked in nursing home care in the past and this was disappointing to see.

My mother has adjusted very well to this community, and everything is working out quite well. We are comfortable with her move to this community. We know she is safe, and in great facility. The location is convenient for our families to travel too. They have a good staff at this community. It was a good choice for her, and her needs. This is a community I would recommend, it is working out well for us.
