I don't know why there isn't a line out the door to get into this place. From the moment we walked in, the energy is infectious. The incredible tenured staff takes amazing care of the residents, and they focus their activities around joy and having fun. Everytime I visit my mom, she and the other folks are singing, laughing and they all are so well taken care of. It's been such an amazing experience and my 84 yr. old mom has never been so happy.

We knew this was the right place for my aging mother the second we walked in. The staff, especially Sally Ann, is warm, attentive and engaging. The residents have lots of planned activities to participate in and the rooms and common areas are clean and inviting.

Choosing a place for our mom to go was filled with anxiety and guilt. We visited countless facilities until we arrived at Promenade at Blue Hill. This is a home. Filled with support and warmth and patience. We were so worried how this transition would go but my mom is filled with happiness. She has new friends and is always busy. She loves the access to both indoor and outdoor spaces and is always excited for the next day. The staff are amazing and create a warm welcoming place for all of us. From someone who has worked in healthcare for 30+ years, I could not be more relieved to have found a place that feels safe and happy.

My mom has been a resident of The Promenade for nearly 2 months. Moving her into an assisted living was a difficult and emotional decision for me, Sally Ann made the whole process easy for me and my family, from then first telephone call I placed to meeting her and getting a tour of the facility, I knew it was the place for my Mom. The entire staff makes you feel welcomed the second you step into the door. Amanda is the first to give me updates of my Mom’s day and always goes the extra mile to make sure my Mom is happy and comfortable. My Mom is thriving and has adjusted very well thanks to the entire staff at The Promenade. I can’t thank them enough for making this process a pleasant one. I can rest my head on the pillow at night knowing that she is in good hands.

My mom lived here for almost two years and we both loved it. The facility is clean and beautiful, secure but with a homey feel. Residents can spend time outside when they wish without supervision in the enclosed garden and patio spaces. The activity program is amazing and kept my constantly busy mom occupied all day long, every day with fun and stimulating games and projects. Best of all the staff is caring, attentive and patient. We were blessed to have found them.

The Promenade at Blue Hill is truly a wonderful place. Everyone from the Executive Director to Nursing to the Activities staff, Culinary team etc., have nothing but the best interests of the residents in mind. They treat them like family because here they ARE family. The activities are engaging, the nursing care is stellar and the Executive Director understands the needs of the residents and does everything to ensure that this is not just an assisted living facility, it truly is their home; a safe, dignified environment where they are respected. The facility is beautiful, comfortable and clean; warm and inviting. The staff is amazing. I have over 18 years experience in senior care and I can honestly say that this is one of the nicest facilities that I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of. You can rest easily knowing your loved one will thrive here and receive the respect and care he/she deserves.

My mother has a whole new lease on life since joining the community at Promenade at Blue Hill. She engages in so many activities and has significantly increased her socialization - all of which helps in her fight to slow her cognitive decline. It was a tough decision to move her from her home, but seeing Mom in this environment reassures me that it was the best decision for her. The staff was patient and understanding through our transition into the facility. Every question gets answered and every concern addressed. As I relinquish my caregiver role, I realize that joining the Promenade at Blue Hill family gave me back my Mom! The staff at Promenade has been amazing, especially Amanda Kythreotis who has been so kind, generous and patient with my mom. Amanda makes every day fun for the residents - my mom participates in every activity and is only in her room to sleep!! Thanks Amanda for making Mom’s days active and social and for always looking out for her well being!!!

My mom has been at Promenade at Blue Hill for almost 2 years. The staff is amazing. So caring and attentive. All through Covid, they made sure the residents were safe and had opportunities to still participate in activities with the utmost thought to keeping them healthy. Since life has returned to normal, there are a variety of social gatherings, with fantastic themes. Many different enriching activities each day. There's something for everyone. Because Promenade is a smaller facility, everyone knows mom and her personality. They know how to bring out the best in her and when she's a little down, (common among widows/widowers) they do whatever they can to make her feel better. I'm convinced it's because they know her as a person, not a resident of a room #. Bright and airy common spaces and lots of positive energy. It's that way because my family and the staff at Promenade are a team that work together to do the best for mom.

Mom was a resident at Promenade @ Blue Hill for 6 yrs ! I cannot tell you how much Promenade enriched her life over the 6 years and even through a very difficult time in Covid . While the activities got shut down and we were not allowed to visit for quite some time the staff ( especially the recreation director and her adjunct staff ) did everything they could to provide many facetimes, and whatever they could do to interact with mom . They kept mom as engaged and as happy as possible and I was so relieved . Coming out of covid - there began to be activities, trivia, therapy dog visits and themed Parties along with the holiday ones too just like the pre covid days . Promenade was brightening up again and it was palpable . Mom was always first in line whenever there was a fun activity, song and dance entertainment show or anything else planned that spelled enjoyment . I truly cannot say enough about this place . It starts with the director who is very present and strives for excellence in the day to day . She is very aware of her staff and the residents. The medical staff - the Rn/ Lpn and the med techs ( including the house Dr that I switched mom over to ) is always willing to discuss any issues and are quite skilled in whatever issues might arise with a resident . The marketing director and receptionists are on task also making sure that residents are safe and comfortable & they know the residents too . The care mgrs and senior staff in town house and country cottage are kind, and loving and sure do know & love their residents also . The maintenance staff is friendly and helpful too and seem to know the residents too . There’s always a friendly hello . As you can tell - this is a glowing review of Promenade . I slept better once mom moved in 6 yrs ago because it felt like a home for her from step one . I knew she had eyes on her when I couldn’t be there with her . It also felt like hometo me too . It is small, intimate, and truly a warm and friendly place for seniors . After looking at several places years ago - it was one of the best decisions I ever made was to choose Promenade @ Blue Hill - I never looked back and you won’t either. Take a tour, talk to the marketing director - you won’t be disappointed .

I am looking for a senior living place for my mother and Promenade at Blue Hill was the first facilty I went to see. I was given a tour by Mr. Joseph Soldano. He showed me around the entire facility and I was so impressed by the pleasant and calm atmosphere. The lobby is set up very nicely as a town square. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly. What I liked the most was the family atmosphere. Pomenade is a smallish facility with a total of 50 residents so everyone knows all of the residents.

Looking for new living arrangements for a loved one and contacted Promenade at Blue Hill. All the information I needed was provided on the phone by a caring and patient on-site Promenade representative named Joe S. I made an on site visit yesterday and while I was unable to go inside due to Covid regulations, I toured the exterior and was able view a couple of rooms from the outside looking in. I got a real Community feel from my visit as opposed to a cold and hospital like feel in other facilities. Thanks so much for your kind time and attention. Carol C.

I have been in touch with Joseph for a couple of months and had to pause the search for my mother's assisted living planning because she was in the hospital. Joseph didn't pressure me, but gave me time but checked back in when I was ready to start up again. Very easy to work with. The facility was beautiful and intimate with a small number of residents. I recommend Promenade of Blue Hill.
