Despite having to traverse the very tricky and ever-changing landscape of the COVID virus, the staff has continued to maintain a highly level of caring and communication. I feel like they truly care about my parents and our family.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amelia Place. It’s a cozy, comfortable facility that made my Dad feel at home. There are two beautiful courtyards with comfortable chairs and pretty flowers. There is a living room setting with a fireplace. The food is delicious. The staff are simply amazing. They took such great care of my Dad and treated him as if he were a part of their own family.

The care my mother has been receiving at Amelia Place is outstanding. They care about her well being and care for her as an individual. I admire the way they continue to engage the residents even though some of the residents are unable to participate. Thank you so very much for all you do for my mother and the other residents. I feel there are times the elders are not always easy to care for all the time. The staff certainly are doing an outstanding job. My mother is not an easy person to get along with at this stage of her illness but the staff continues to care for her in a very loving and kind way.

Amelia Place has the best leadership team and staff! This can be seen by their involvement in their residents' lives with activities, transportation, and great care. It is not uncommon for them to go out of their way to make sure their residents make it to their appointments, that their residents help be a part of the Council Bluffs community through events for those in need, and their door-decorating competitions celebrating each resident individually! Each time that I visit Amelia Place, I am welcomed with a warm smile and appreciate their dedication to seniors in our Council Bluffs community. Great Job!
