I absolutely love this place! So cozy and so clean! the caregivers are so nice and always smiling. The house has a great vibe, very welcoming and the administrator is very experienced and dedicated to providing great care!

Our mother was here for about a year. My sister and I felt very fortunate to find a place where she was well-cared for, and where we could reach her easily after she was no longer able to use the phone by herself. It felt more like she was at someone's home than in a medical facility, even though her personal and medical needs were substantial due to her Parkinsons. Radu and Dana really are the best.

I met Radu and Dana when I started visiting one of their residents every week. I was immediately struck by their welcoming presence, strong work ethic, and commitment to making their clients feel safe and "at home." The environment was more comfortable and personalized than typical care facilities. Sadly, my friend has passed on and I haven't seen Radu and Dana for a few months, but I hope to connect again with them in the future. If you or a loved one are looking for a place with a caring home environment and hard-working staff, then Montclair should be top of the list!

As a previous Geriatric Care Manager, my expectations are quite high. However, Montclair Villa exceeded all of my expectations. Not only are they professional and knowledgeable, but they are loving and kind. Radu is on top of things like noticing changes in condition and a need for medical attention. He is also great with communication/updates and never once complained about our daily calls. Additionally, Dana and Andrea go out of their way with little touches (haircuts, nail painting, cooking favorite meals). It's rare and refreshing to find a home like this, where I feel the quality care is always a priority.

Wanted to say thank you to Radu, Dana and Andrea. They took the best care our or Father Bud Nichols. No only were they super caring they were fun to be around. He had the best time there. Unfortunately internal bleeding finally took him. He love it there with all the Ladies and gentleman. He and Radu had the best male relationship laughing and joking with each other all day long. I truly believe Radu and Dana will miss him as much as us his family.I highly recommend this wonderful home. In fact A women from his assisted living has already moved in because of our recommendation.We love you Radu and Dana. We will miss you too.

My dad was in the care of Montclair Villa for over 3 years. I had searched-interviewed many facilities in the area but was not comfortable until I went to Montclair. Radu and his staff are great. Professional, experienced in care giving but also they have a passion for what they do. This is what made the difference. It is an excellent facility that provided great care (above and beyond) for my dad. My dad asked that he remain there for the remainder of the time he had as they took great care of him. I would strongly recommend that if you have a loved one that needs true care and caring, please check out Montclair Villa.

Our experience with Montclair Villa was more than just a solution to 24 hour care for my father-in-law. It was a special place that actually became my father-in-laws home. Not just a care home, but a home of special people who cared for him like family. We are eternally gratefully to Radu and his staff for their compassion, kindness and the love they showed not only to my father-in-law, but to us as well. They all will forever be a part of us!

I placed my mom in their care and I was so happy with this decision! They were on top of everything and making sure she is always clean, well-fed and most importantly hydrated! My mom had constant UTIs and they were always on top of this problem! I could not have found a better place!

Couldn't find a better care home!!!!! My friend and I looked at a few other places to place our friend with dementia and hands down, this was so clearly the best choice. I was constantly amazed at the quality of care my friend received. The staff is amazing - Radu, the owner, goes above and beyond for his residents as does Jacqueline. It's always clean and if I had to ever put someone I loved into a care home, this would be the place I would choose and I would recommend it to anyone who needs an amazing yet affordable place for their loved ones. Montclair Villa became my mom's home, and I found a family. I visited mom every day and it was like walking into a family gathering.

Mom has been at Montclair Villa for 1 1/2 years and I can't imagine a better home for her. She is so well cared for - always clean, groomed and dressed, well fed and hydrated, tended to and assisted with all her needs. Staff are professional and so very caring about all of the residents and their extended families. I can drop in any time and feel welcome. I have no doubt that mom is given all of her medications on a regular basis exactly as prescribed, and the fact that her overall condition has improved and her hospital visits have drastically decreased since she moved here, is a testament to the excellent care she receives. Radu and his staff pay very close attention to mom and her changing needs, and are exceptional at communicating with family about her status. They are well versed in caring for the elderly and are so patient with finding the right solution for each new issue. Mom has lived at a couple of larger assisted living communities and I felt like I always had to monitor their care of mom. They were very expensive and the care was inconsistent and unreliable. At Montclair Villa, I don't worry about Mom because I have complete trust in the staff and know that their primary concern is giving Mom the best care possible. I am so grateful I found Radu and Montclair Villa.

The care was outstanding for my mother! The atmosphere was so warm and loving! My mother did not want to leave her home, but after being there for only a few days she was happier than she had been in years. The attention and care made her feel like a queen.
