First of all I can't thank the staff of American House enough for their kindness, knowledge and understanding of the very difficult situation to transition your loved one into a new home. We all know how hard it is for anyone to leave their home and surroundings that are so cherished. My Sister has a strong personality and very out spoken, very hard to take in my heart especially when we made it known to her she was moving to where she could be helped and watched over because of health reason. A miracle happened in less than a month! She is at Home! Didn't think it would happen so quickly, I thought it was going to be a long fight in my heart did we make the right decision? Well I am here to tell you we did. Her personality has come back to her sweetheart self! She has made friends enjoying all that American House has to offer. I attribute all this turn around to every staff person at American House and can't thank you enough Love From Our Family

I have a family members that live at American House Management is a problem it seems the turnover rate of employees that are not related to the management or other employees there send a be in and out like a revolving door There was a nice recent employee who went above and beyond her duty and I was very happy with her my family was happy with her other residents were happy with her and they recently just fired her based off of gossip Jackie and Aurelia are two of the worst management people I've ever known in any establishment ever they're bias one-sided completely ignorant and it's really strange how 9/10 of the employee staff there are all related to the same family Is there a human resources department at al???

My parents have lived at American House in Zephyrhills for a couple of years now. Recently mom needed memory care but there was not a space available for her. All of the top staff worked together to help me get care for here there while we waited for a spot to open up. I can't thank everyone enough for the extra effort they went to in helping Mom during this transistion. Roger, Keaton, Jackie and Aurelia worked as a team to set up the best possile situation for her. I don't know what I would have done without their help. Now, after many weeks, my Mom is adjusting to her new digs there. She loves the staff and appreciates that she has lots of option for keeping her busy everyday. Jackie is compassionate and caring. She keeps me informed and makes me feel safe leaving my Mom in her hands. I do not live nearby so this gives me peace of mind. I found out the hard way, there's nothing like being worried about the well-being of elderly loved ones. They can be so vulnerable. Knowing Mom is safe, cared for and happy is so reassuing. American House memory care staff do everything I could hope for. Thank you so much!

We’ve been very happy with my mom’s experience in Memory Care at American House. She did not want to move to a facility, so the transition was difficult for her and us. Keaton took the time to patiently answer all of our many questions in preparation and provided the guidance we needed to make the process as smooth as possible. She also made my mom’s move in day much easier by greeting her at the front door with a smile and escorting her to the memory care unit. Jackie and the rest of the staff in memory care have been wonderful! Jackie kindly provided her cell number so I can text and check on my mom given that I live out of state. The staff are very caring with the residents “ it takes a special person to be patient and understanding with people with dementia and some of the behaviors it causes. They guide and redirect as needed with compasion every day. The care takers were very patient and accommodating when we were struggling to adjust my mom’s anxiety medications with very slow response from her physician. Jackie and the others went above and beyond to work with us, my mom and her doctor’s office. My mom enjoys the activities, especially the word games and weekly music performances. She also likes the food. We really appreciate the special activites the facility hosts like the Mother’s Day celebration and monthly family nights. The other residents are very nice and welcoming “ my mom has made new friends. The facility itself is very nice. My mom’s room is beautiful, with lots of natural light. Both the indoor and outdoor areas are nice for spending time together, and they are always clean and well cared for. We screened almost a dozen memory care facilities in the Zephyrhills, Dade City and Lakeland areas, did phone interviews with 7 and toured 5. American House was by far 1 of the 2 best options, and the other one was in Lakeland. We are very happy we chose American House for my mom’s new home.

My mother was unfortunately placed in the memory care at this facility for her dementia diagnosis becoming too much for my father to care for. I am happy she’s in a safe place, the staff in the memory care take good care of her. Jackie the director is very responsive and helpful with my mom and that is truly appreciated. Thank you Connie and the rest of the staff for being there to help with my mom. To the staff in the building itself, Keaton is fantastic and Roger. Thank you for caring for my parents and treating them with kindness and compassion, not to many people left like that.Its nice to know there are safe places for elderly people.

My wife was diagnosed with dementia in 2022 and then Alzheimer’s. Her condition rapidly declined in 2024-2025 after several falls, hospitalizations and rehabs. My wife and I have been married 58 years, but her care was more than I (at age 81) could provide and manage in our home. We were blessed with two wonderful sons (and now their spouses) who are devoted to their mom. Our family had heard many positive comments and were extremely impressed on our first visit to American House Zephyrhills in November 2024. Our family made the decision in February 2025 for my wife and their mom to become a resident of the American House Memory Care Unit. Our desire was that she be close to our family and in a safe, caring and loving environment. She is indeed treated and cared for like family.

My mother has been a resident of American House-Zephyrhills since Dec. 2024. I cannot say enough good things about American House, the Memory Care staff, led by Jackie, as well as the administrative staff such as Ms. Keaton and the care which, to date, my mother has received there. It is not an easy task having a parent with a cognitive diagnosis and being an only child. I appreciate all the care provided to my mom. I highly recommended AH-Zephyrhills.

Our Mom has a totally new outlook on life and feels, safe, happy and comfortable at American House Zephyrhills, Fl. The staff is great and a special mention to the Resident POC Ms. Keaton Hobbs and the Activities Director (I believe her name is Terry). They are both wonderful as so many of the other staff. Mom enjoys her time and we as a family feel safe and happy that she is there.

American house is awesome. We moved my mom in 3 months ago and couldn't be happier. The staff is kind and caring. As soon as you walk through the door you can feel the positive vibes. The residents that we have met are very friendly. The apartments are quite spacious compared to some other facilities I have seen. The food is really good. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents busy. And, you can bring your dog. What more can a person ask for, this place is great.

My mother in law is a resident and I couldn’t be happier with the way the staff genuinely cares for all the residents. There is a chef that makes absolutely delicious meals, there are monthly family nights that often have live music, a movie theater, lots of daily activities, a library, and a beautiful and serene outdoor oasis. There’s even axe throwing. Making the decision to join the community at American House was absolutely the right one.

From the front desk and admin personnel, kitchen staff, resident aids, and maintenance personnel, all of have been professional, caring, and friendly. My mom is moving into American House. She was very against going into assisted living but when she saw the Zephyrhills facility she fell in love with it! All of the staff is wonderful, especially Keaton Hobbs. Keaton has walked us through every step of the way. It feels like family at American House and I know my mom will be in the best hands there.

I have personally enjoyed having my mother here at American House. She has been in here for approximately two months and has totally changed into a new person, the activities, to detail, to everything that they do for my mother makes her much more comfortable. She loves the restaurant, the foods they have to offer, and especially the desserts, she finds that everyone here is willing to do anything that she ask, It’s like living at a fancy hotel.

American House Zephyrhills feels like a family run assisted living home. We are very happy with them for many reasons. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiles from the residents, as well as the staff. The ambiance is that of a nice hotel, the services are similar, and the vibe is very positive. Watching my mom joking around with the staff, hanging out with her friends, their attentiveness and being comfortable in her own space, confirms our choice. American House keeps us posted with any concerns or issues, as well as addressing any immediate needs. She says she feels safe and happy. For us, it is peace of mind. Mom needed more care and attention that I could provide working full time. We reached out to American House and immediately knew we found a place mom could call home. The staff is so attentive and caring to not only mom but to me as well . They have become an extension of my own family. My mother spent the last 9 years of her life at American House, passing peacefully in her room, surrounded by caring staff who had become her family. I am grateful and blessed to have been able to find American House. From the Administrative staff to the Housekeeping personnel, everyone was kind, professional and genuinely cared for both my mother and my needs. Mom went from Independent living, to Assisted, to Memory Care, then Hospice. At each stage of her decline, I always felt comfortable with the advice from the people who saw her every day. Was everything perfect all the time? No, but if mistakes were made, they were always acknowledged and corrected. Did I ever worry about my moms safety? Yes, but so did the staff. Anticipating her needs as she battled dementia was infinitely easier with the experienced staff, who has seen it all! It is difficult to put into words how much I appreciate American House being the wonderful facilty they are...and, they continually strive to be better, for the comfort of their residents. If you are lucky enough to place your loved one into their care, I believe it will be a good experience for all.’•

I could not be more pleased with American House-Zephyrhills. My mother moved there in May 2022 and wasn’t sure about the move. ALL of the staff have been wonderful! They make her feel welcome, comfortable and happy and they treat her with dignity. We have cameras inside her apartment and one day we saw that she had fallen. I called American House to tell them and in less than 1 minute there were 4 women there to help her, including the head of the nursing staff. They helped her and comforted her as she was very embarrassed about it. Every time I go there I am greeted with smiles. I would also like to mention that they have activities and provide entertainment that many participate in. I highly recommend American House-Zephyrhills to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly and pleasant home for their loved one(s).

Since the beginning, the administration and staff (especially Keaton) at AH have been there for our entire family. No matter the situation, they always have my parents' best interest at heart. They've been at AH since 2018 and have transitioned from an apartment into the Memory Care unit where they are thriving! After a horrible experience at a facility in Brandon, we feel so blessed to have found a home at AH!

Both of my parents were moved to American House Zephyrhills over a year ago from an ALF in Indiana. I can't say enough positive things about the staff and quality of service provided by AH. The entire staff is extremely responsive to questions and situations that arise through the normal course of caring for elderly adults. The staff provided compassionate care and support through the hospice process when my mother passed away. The facility is always clean, cheerfully decorated, and well maintained. The food is always delicious! Food portions are large and the menu varies to accommodate diverse preferences of residents. American House has always been and continues to be a trusted place for the care of my parents.

I toured this place a day ago with Keaton. I think it would be an absolute perfect fit for my dad. I will be back to review again after he moves in. From what I saw on the tour I think any person who moved in here would be treated with kindness and would like living here. Back to give update, Dad has been here almost a month now and has settled in. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Definitely glad we chose this place!! Back for another update: Overall we are still happy, my only complaint is the team who distributes the medicine, they seem to have a lot of confusions at time, and luckily my dad has 3 daughters who stay on top of it. ***Back for another update...I am no longer giving 5 stars, changing to 2. Have had AC problems, over 4 months now and not fixed. Prior to getting a dehumidifier in his room, we had a mold and mildew problem. Staff is very slow in fixing, always putting it off on someone else. A few staff members have developed attitude problems because Im not letting these little things that are going wrong be unnoticed and have to weekly keep on them. Kitchen staff is so friendly and accommodating especially with my dads picky habits.
