My mom moved into Heritage Woods of Manteno in late 2019 and stayed there until she passed in June 2023. My mom enjoyed living at Heritage Woods. The staff was great and the services were very good. The staff at Heritage Woods navigated the COVID crisis effectively and had few cases in spite of the close living quarters. In fact, my mom never caught COVID while there. Although Heritage Woods of Manteno is a little out of the way, I highly recommend it if your loved one needs to live in an assisted care environment. FYI - it is my understanding that they accept both private pay and Medicaid residents.

Mom wanted to move here because we had an Aunt staying here before she passed. Her family was satisfied with the care she received.

Staff went out of their way to let me visit with my grandparents while I was in town from Florida during Covid. Everyone stayed a safe distance from each other on the back patio, and we got to visit for 2 hours. It had been 10 years since I last saw them. Thank you!
