This Community is amazing! The building itself is always well maintained and clean. Management is always available. One thing that sets it apart from other places in the area is the amount of events that happen daily. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place for their loved one!

We had a terrible experience at Addington with the care of a parent. The caretaker staff was not trained to care for elderly patients, and they were always understaffed. In one incident a caregiver was physically and emotionally abusive. We would not recommend this facility to anyone. We’re not sure how they stay licensed.

Having to put your loved one in an assisted facility is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. It makes it even harder when you don't live near them. When it was time for use to put my parents in an assisted living facility, my brother found one in Muscatine, Sunnybrook. They had nice apartments, common areas, activities, a work shop area for my dad. The day came and we were still nervous and scared but the Sunnybrook team (Megan and Megan) were there for us throughout the whole thing and went above and beyond to help us. It has now been about 10 months and my parents have settled into a somewhat normal routine. My dad helps with a lot of the planting of flowers and plants and my mom will help him. My mom really likes to socialize so she will go down to visit with the ladies, put puzzles together, watch a good movie on Sunday afternoon with popcorn. Sunnybrook always has something special going on and things to do to keep the residents entertained and busy. We are so blessed for everyone who works at Sunnybrook to make everything special for my parents. I don't know what we would have done without them. No words can express how much we appreciate them in the care of our parents and the residents who live there. Thank You!!! Deborah Sywassink Moore

When we transitioned my parents to Sunnybrook, they all helped with the difficult transition. They took care of everything and were with us every step of the way. They continue to keep us updated about our parents and we love the care and attention they provide! The facility is really nice and clean and they provide alot activities to keep everyone entertained! The food is great as well!!
