I, Just REMOVED my sister from Sun Valley; She was there 1- month..As she needed her Diabetic care NEVER RECEIVED? SHE HERSELF KEPT ASKING FOR? and she (never) received care NEVER!!!? When (I) asked and my sister would ask why they were not taking her bld sugars, they kept saying they were??? (Like my sister and I did not know what we were asking..or talking about)??? they kept saying they did take them; And they kept saying they were?? My sister said NO ONE IS TAKING HER BLD SUGARS NO ONE MY SISTER KEPT SAYING TO ME..EVERYDAY OVER AND OVER..NO ONE TAKING BLD SUGARS!!!? They were ALL LYING!!!? WHY?? WE WERE TOTALLY SAD, BAFFELED OF WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON??? I know my sister and she knows whats what shes not crazy she just needs help..SO TO OUR FACE ALL WERE LYING, Hard to believe this but it happened its true! GOD KNOWS.. MY POOR SISTER WAS SAYING " I WILL BRING OUT MY BIBLE.". No one has ever taken my bld sugars since Ive been here, NO ONE. all were making my sister out to be a liar, like she doesnt know; Like shes crazy doesnt know the difference or something..like she didnt know what shes saying???? And this place; The Manager was LYING TO MY FACE..????? I kept asking why no bld sugars are being done? I demanded the charting of the nurses, who they were? signatures? they had none? But..then the Manager produced one right off the computor all lies all made up bld sugar days they took?? all were lies!!!? Forged, not real...? It was a computerized chart that was made up by the Manager no signatures by no caregivers. All to cover up her their (mistakes) AND...the Manager had the care givers even lie for her. Lies after lies!!! They Gave my sister (wrong pills) and when she had to watch this herself and KEEP telling them they kept arguing with her??? Making her cry and feel bad like she doesnt know whats what?? Now they are demanding a re-evaluation on my sister?????? ITS THIS PLACE SUN VALLEY THAT NEEDS A MAJOR RE-EVALUATION ON THE MANAGER HERSELF. THE STATE NEEDS TO EVALUATE THIS PLACE THERES ALOT GOING ON (IM ASKING ANYONE THATS GONE THRU ANYTHING AT THIS PLACE AND HAD TO REMOVE A LOVE ONE PLEASE CALL ME) MY POOR SISTER IS GOING THRU ALOT AND HAS GONE THRU ALOT ITS ALL SO VERY WRONG SO UNCALLED FOR ALL BECAUSE OF A MANAGER NOT DOING HER JOB AND LIES TO COVER IT ALL UP AND HAS HER CAREGIVERS LIE FOR HER DOES IT GET ANY WORSE FOR AN INNOCENT PERSON TRYING TO FIND HELP AND ENDS UP FIGHTING TO BE HEARD AND THIS TO BE KNOWN. TO DO ANYONE THIS WAY IS BEYOND BELEIF...I ASKED HER TO BE MOVED AND WHERE WE WANT HER TO GO TO AND WE ARE NOW BEING PUT THRU ALOT BECAUSE OF HOW ((THIS PLACE TREATED MY SISTER))???? They did this they know it, and we are fighting hard to be heard its a shame to put anyone thru so much. OUR FAITH IS WHAT KEEPS US STRONG. My sister is (a special needs adult) not stupid? not crazy? doesnt have Demensia? She knows whats what? She knows herself...??? She knows if shes had a bld sugar draw she hates the bld sugar drawn because it hurts her it turns her finger purple it aches, SHE KNOWS IF THIS IS DONE OR NOT? She NEVER forgets if thats done to her, and it NEVER was. TRUST ME I KNOW HER AND SHE KNOWS WHEN BLD SUGARS ARE DRAWN HER FINGERS ARE EVIDANCE THEMSEVES I CHECKED EVERYDAY I WAS COMING THERE NOTHING!!? NO PURPLE FINGER, no pain, no bld sugars drawn; NO BLD SUGAR LEVELS DRAWN AND this Manager (laughed) at her when she would ask or mention things to her. Until it made her sad and not even want to tell me because of my health didnt want me to say anything to stress me. THE MANAGER LAUGHED AT MY SISTER A CAREGIVER TOLD THE MANAGER SHE SHOULD NOT LAUGH AT MY SISTER. WHO EVER THIS CAREGIVER WAS.. (Thank you) THIS PLACE LIED ABOUT (EVERYTHING) TO COVER UP THIS MESS. ((KNOW THIS))- This Manager brings (her- Grandchildren) to work in the Dementia Side of this Assistant living home, Sun Valley Marinette, Wi. These grandchildren are always running all around opening the doors? setting off the alarms..? This was our (first red flag on the first day) my sisters and I were there for an interveiw for her room; with This Manager kept appologising excusing her grandchildrens doing things to interupting where she would stop us our conversation and yell at the grandchildren..? All the interuptions from her grandchildren that were doing things were disturbing This Managers listening about mty sisters health questions. This Manager was getting interupted by her grandchildrens behavior at a DEMENSIA HOME...? This was out in the hall of this home facility not in an office for quiet or privacy? This was my sisters (health screening) I believe this is exactly why the Manager is chosing to lie about things about my sisters health because she was NOT LISTENING TO MY SISTERS HEALTH SCREENING SHE WAS TO BUSY WITH HER GRANDCHILDREN BEHAVIOR IN THIS HOME; AND..SHE WAS (NOT) HEARING US... My sister or myself. It was questioned and we/ my sister myself talk to each other afterwards in kinda disbelief really..A REALLY BAD SITUATION FOR A MANAGER SO BUSY WITH SO MUCH SHE NEVER HEARD REALLY KEPT SAYING OH OH IM SORRY I BETTER MAKE A NOTE SHE SCRIBBLED DWN OH..BLD SUGARS? OH SHES DIABETIC; OK SHE DNT TAKE THIS OR THAT.. little (notes) scribbled on the paper work somewhere?? little notes to help remind me she said, NOTES I QUESTION NOW I BELIEVE SHE HERSELF NEVER READ?? Thats what happened, my sister and i was right there looking at each other... and as we were talking the Manager during my sisters health screen said oh I better make a note, so inbetween her grandchildrens behavior, This Manager FORGOT all her notes??? My sister being diabetic? Given wrong pills, laughing at my sister when told if any problems come and tell us.. and when she did??? LAUGHED AT HER? And a (maintenance) man who had a key to my sisters room just opened the door to my sisters room and walked in..she was scared, privacy gone, rms so small she could hav been undressing,or even going to the bathroom. She was lying dwn awoke to the door open and a man in her room??? Oh he said, sorry he appologised said the manager said he could just go in.. that my sister was gone..? ANOTHER ONE OF HER LIES, SHE DOESNT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING JUST DOES, AND SAYS WHATEVER SHE WANTS...AND BECAUSE SHES MANAGER MAKES IT ALL WORK OUT IN HER FAVOR WITH LIES SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED... (Shes a liar) over and over and I can prove it. How would she know my sister wasnt in her room? she wouldnt; if I took my sister anywhere the caregivers (knew) they marked her dwn when leaving and gone and they always signed her back in (WE MADE SURE OF IT) But this Manager has a lie and an excuse for everything and she gets away with it, she can turn it all arounfd to protect herself for (her own mistakes)? after all whos going to be able to fight a manager covering up her mistakes, lies; and she KNOWS IT.. This Manager had an EXCUSE AND A COVER STORY FOR EVERYTHING SO MUCH THEY SAID TO ME- "DO I THINK MY SISTER NEEDS TO BE CHECKED FOR DEMENSIA"????? BECAUSE WE ALWAYS DID HER BLD SUGARS..YES LEYS CK MY SISTER FOR ALL YOUR LIES.. How many people have endured such messes as this, how many????Because they never did bld sugars and then when I and my sister kept asking and questioned it, and the Manager got caught by me and my sister, LYING? Now they want to re-evaluate my sister like SHES not knowing?? REALLY. This is the insanre all because of a Manager NIT doing her job, lying. LIES.. on top of lies hurting innocent peoples lives.... NO THEY NEVER DID ANY BLD SUGARS ON MY SISTER NEVER NEVER NEVER!!! AND MY SISTER WILL TELL YOU BECAUSE IT ALWAYS HURTS HER AND HURTS HER FINGER THE NEEDLES TURN HER FINGER PURPLE SO SHE KNOWS!!? 1- caregiver said the reason they never took her bld sugars is because it ((NEVER)) was put in the chart/computer for them to do so... She tried to tell the truth, we KNOW who she is and her name if and when needed I pray she will tell the truth again. Then this caregiver/ cook, the only one doing EVERYTHING ALONE..said early this morn the Manager called her to say.. Tell me the sister that (shes been taking my sisters bld sugars) say this to me when I arrive. because I told the Manager I was coming and wanted to talk with the caregivers, So this crooked Manager called and had them LIE FOR HER THE Manager herself did this before I arrived she knew I was coming and I wanted the caregivers names and to talk with them.. I ALREADY KNEW THIS MANAGER WOULD DO SOMETHING TO COVER UP THINGS BECAUSE SHE WAS CAUGHT...WHAT ELSE COULD SHE DO NOW? But to lie and COVER ALL THIS UP, Just lie...LIE ABOUT THE BLD SUGARS...LIE SAY YOUVE BEEN TAKING THEM THINKING IT WOULD MAKE ME BELIEVE THEIR LIES..WHEN THE ONLY ONE I BELIEVED WAS MY SISTER. The Manager called the caregivers real early BEFORE I arrived (Caregivers said she did)? Caregiver said so. I arrived about 7:30 AM to move my sister out of this place, (I SAID NO MORE) brought my sister home. The caregivers covered for the Manager. Imagine that..? Why not they need their job..I was in thre middle of moving things out of my sister ms room to get her out of that place.. The manager called early to make sure the caregivers did a bld sugar on my sister??? WHY BOTHER NOW I SAID RAISING MY HANDS UP IN DISBELIEF AND THE CAREGIVER SAID DONT PUT YOUR HANDS IN MY FACE AND LOWER YOUR VOICE.. A nasty attitude alreafdy implanted into these caregivers from the manager. Why? I said its to late we were moving her out and they were insisting physically chasing my sister dwn to take a bld sugar why?? so they can finally do one and say they did??? WHY NOW?? A very weird mess to say the least of it all. JUST CRAZY...and this caregiver was on the defensive side drilled already on what to do.. no doubt she was rude one could tell she was coached to lie and be rude and to be able to say they took it. YEP! -1- time that time that moment why bother Im not sure??? Please if anyone has a loved one watch them extremely careful because things ARE NOT RIGHT THERE AND ITS ALL COVERED UP So.. who would kno? People believe your loved one. Visit, watch, be aware of their care; question? ask? NOTICE and if you have or know of anything I need you to get in contact with me because the State NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED for MANY reasons to many to mention. SUN VALLEY MANAGER AND CAREGIVERS ARE ALL LIARS THEY LIE TO KEEP THEIR JOB. All know and see and only -1- said something to myself and sister (SHE TOLD THE TRUTH) But lied when confronted, The Manager is such a liar..she said "she herself" herself... took my sisters bld sugar? And even said, my sister was upset over her tv not working and thats why my sister didnt even know she took my sisters bld sugar???? AN INSANE LIE.. This manager said she was training a new staff member and she was there with her when this was being done, (The bld withdraw that NEVER happened) So believe it or not my sister NEVER NEVER NEVER had any bld sugars drawn, IT NEVER HAPPENED NO NEW STAFF MEMBER THAT WAS PRESENT WHEN THIS ((LYING MANAGER)) DID NOT TAKE MY SISTERS BLD SUGAR.. ALL MADE UP ONE LIE ON ANOTHER TO MAKE MY SISTER LOOK LIKE SHE DOESNT REALLY KNOW WHATS WHAT JUST TO COVER UP WHAT SHES DONE HERSELF AS NOT TO LOSE HER JOB; AND SHE NEEDS TO LOSE HER JOB. SOMEONE NEEDS TO HEAR THIS...? This (made up chart) no nurse signed.. because its not a legit chart because it NEVER happened none of it???? On this chart all bld sugars were real normal and low; ITS NOT A REAL CHART AND ITS NOT MY SISTERS EITHER. My sister has serious bld sugars all over the place her A1C is 9 bad!!!? SHES BEEN NEGLECTED AT SUN VALLEY this MADE UP CHART IS PATHEDIC!!!? So all our loved ones are NOT GETTING PROPER CARE AND WHEN THEY DONT..All can be covered up to make your loved one look crazy or hav Demensia, Lakeland Care is my sisters care team, ALOT to be said with them also. The nurse said to me, (Because I think this nurse believes the lies of this Manager) with her forged false charts.. that my sister needs re-evaluation maybe for Demensia???? So the lies are creating alot of serious serious issues and my poor sister should not have to be re-evaluated because of lies? I WILL NOT ALLOW THIS FOR HER; Shes a good Christian lady who does not lie period. All want to make it look like my sister does not know whats what...They want myself and my sister to believe they took bld sugars and as GOD ABOVE KNOWS... this NEVER happened, and because of all the lies and cover up and blame an innocent person that she herself doesnt even know that they were taking her bld sugars this is INSANE. THE MANAGER EVEN SAID HER NOT KNOWING MAKES HER UNEASY FOR HER, MY SISTER????? She wants everyone to believe my sister doesnt know whats what, this Manager has been at her job way too long... She needs to go before someone really gets hurt. They want to re-evaluate my sister " PROTOCAL"" they are saying...because I removed her from this mess and they said its ALL needed to put her in another Ass Liv Community. I DONT BELIEVE THAT....This place is a nightmare DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVE ONE IN THERE AND THE STATE WILL BE CALLED... I am sorry to say, but I totally agree with the two above comments!!!! The ONLY activity that the Residents do is Bingo, once or twice a week. So, all the information that you read is NOT correct. In fact, it made me laugh!!! Totally false advertising. The Residents are taken care of though.

Get a nutritionist to cook. Have transport to take residents to and from the doctor. treat the workers better as they are great at what they do but don't have the help they need. Rides were promised but the workers are made to do it and are not licensed but it's not the workers fault. Upper management needs to be fired. The workers make sure the residents have fun things to do for the holidays and pay out of their pocket. The marinette facility is not worth going to until changes are made. hotdogs are not a good meal for the elderly not is pizza. The workers are made to cook clean take care of the residents with hardly anyone to help.

They do not provide healthy food. Half the time they are out of food. They were supposed to provide rides to and from the doctor appointments. They dont have a van to do that. They treat the workers badly.They are under staffed. It is unsafe just to have one worker at night. The only thing good is the workers who are very kind. Upper management sucks they should be fired. The maintenance guy is useless. He comes to marinette very little. The rooms are cold in the winter you need a heater to keep it warm. The workers are not paid very well. They have to do cooking cleaning laundry and taking care of the residents. They use rockmed which is stupid they should use the pharmacy.
