Such a great place!! Ive recently been looking for an assisted living community for my father and this is the place!! We scheduled an in person walk through in their model cottage and my dad lived it. It was really cute and had a good amount of space and had a nicely sized back patio! The grounds of the community were nicely kept and we even spotted a deer wandering through the property. The location is great, being in close proximity to the hospital and his doctors offices but also just down the street from the Evergreen Air Museum! I am impressed.

Im a new employee and Ive never felt so comfortable with the staff Ive worked with like I do here. Everyone is so helpful and kind and all the residents are amazing. The management team is outstanding and go above and beyond to make sure things are going smoothly and safely and are very understanding. I am excited to continue my employment with this company and if I could Id give it more than 5 stars. So thankful for this opportunity and for a life long partnership(:

If outstanding care is something you are looking for, then this is the place you or your loved one should be. A beautiful campus with wildlife surrounding it such as deer and rabbit that run freely on campus. Close to all medical needs and shopping and a friendly community of staff and residents. You can feel the warm and friendly atmosphere upon walking into the building.

Parkland Village is a wonderful community. The dedicated staff go above and beyond every day to provide compassionate, skilled and efficient care. Lots of resident birds and deer, delicious food, and clean, inviting environment. Best assisted living community in Yamhill County.

I recently visited several homes in McMinnvile for possible residency for my mother. Parkland is my first choice. The criteria I used was extensive but the main reason for my choice was the happiness I saw in the residents and the overall positive environment that they lived in. Most everyone had a smile on their face and I saw whole families having lunch or just visiting with their loved ones. I also thought the living space in the apartments and studios were nice and light and bright. The only reason I did not give Parkland 5 stars is because my mother is not yet a resident there so I can not speak from her experience. In my opinion, Parkland is a wonderful place for a loved one and I would rest easy if my mom becomes a resident of this facility.

Our family had a crisis of two parents needing care. In the course of one day all of our lives changed and we did not know where to turn. With the unique situation of needing to find care for two parents, we stumbled upon Parkland Village and met Marie Jennings. She immediately became engaged with our needs and advised us about many options - not just care at Parkland. She advised us on home care, respite care, and a wide range of services for us to consider. At the time, Parkland did not have an opening, so we reluctantly had to look for other options. Even in that Marie helped us. When we were working with social workers and other administrators, and things were not working out, we knew we could call Marie and she would help us. If you need care for a loved one, I would immediately call Parkland and seek out Marie for help and advise. In a time where customer service is lacking in all industries, it was a unique pleasure to work with our friend Marie. Call her!

My father in law needed to move into a place in a short time and was a bit worried about losing his independence. After moving in, he has just thrived at Parkland!! He is living his life how he wants to and I can't thank the staff at Parkland for helping him achieve his goal!

My parents thoroughly enjoyed their independent living cottage for 2.5 years. The nutritious food that was offered was very processed and the protein choices were often difficult for my father to chew with his missing teeth. After trying to work with the administrator and kitchen for 6 months with menu suggestions, we were given a $300 credit on the monthly rent and asked to fix our own meals. This was compounded by extended wait time for routine maintenance---3 weeks for replacing 4 light bulbs in the kitchen. We also requested replacement of the older toilets with ADA approved models for the height requirement and that was delayed for weeks for quotes and then we realized that a move to another facility was unavoidable. It was devastating to my parents to not be able to utilize the assisted living portion of this retirement community and remain with the friends they had made, but the meals offered affected my fathers health. It was also distressing to see the revolving door of employees in management and in services. This could be an affordable choice for advancing care but nutrition is a very basic tenet to good health and we were sorry to leave.

Parkland has always been such a wonderful place to visit. It's an amazing home, and it is a great staple of our community in McMinnville. Staff is amazing. Shauna the relations director is amazing. She makes every visit for her guest wonderful, and personal. Oxana is at the front desk, she is always so friendly! She answers the phone so sweet, and is always willing to help! Cindy does activities, and the residents are busy doing something fun! This is a great place for mom and dad!

It began when I was seeing patients as a home health nurse. The immediate atmosphere when I walked in the building was sophisticated and pleasant. The staff was bubbly, attentive, and eager to learn. All the residents I met were always so happy and cheerful. Now from a different perspective, I am so lucky to work with some of the best people I have ever met and to have the privilege of calling them my friends; including staff, residents, and their families. If you or your family member is looking for a new place to call "home", this is it. We have independent living in our cottages, and assisted living in our main building. Please give us a call or stop by and see what I am talking about! You won't be disappointed!
