About a year ago, I was looking for an assisted living place for my parents who are in their 90's. Denise H. met with me and showed me around the whole place. She listened as I spoke about their needs. Well, she did good; my parents love their apartment, love the food and get more exercise then they did before moving in. I think they are in better shape than they were before moving to the Meridian. Thank you Denise, Ana , Adele, and Wilma.

Enid, the Executive Director, has been extremely helpful in resolving some issues that occurred during my father's move to Meridian. Additionally, my father was having trouble with his laptop, and Enid took time to help him. She then assisted me with the installation of some remote access software, so I could help him from my home. It is reassuring to know someone there cares so much about the residents. Thank you for the Covid information. When we are so far away, we feel reassured that he is well cared for.

I would not recommend this community. My family member has lived there for a few years. Since it was taken over by new owners it has gone continuously down hill. The nursing staff is very caring but always short staffed and my family member doesn’t get the care they are paying for. In the past 2 years there has been at least 6 different Executive Directors. There’s nothing stable and turnover in management is often. Promises are made however nothing changes. The building was renovated last year but nothing is ever kept clean. There are roaches throughout and the bathrooms are dirty. The hallway rugs are dirty and the residents who have dogs also add to the dirty rugs. The elevators are old and smell. The food is often salty and served cold. The activities are nothing wonderful but typical. There’s never anything new. I would not consider this community for anyone. There are so many new ones being built. Our family is looking to make a move.

Came here to check out a place for my father. Was greeted by Denise Higgins, as if I was family! Was shown around the whole place, which looked clean and immaculate! Not looking for a five star resort, but a place to call home. This is that place, a home sweet home place. Residents look happy and content, not a frown in sight peaceful and tranquil, at least that's what the bird's said  We looked at a one bedroom, quite spacious indeed! Bathroom right next to the bedroom. A divider between the kitchen and living room, which you can just add in bar stools and you have yourself a place to eat. Big walk-in closet and many other closets as well. All amenities included, just like the other Assisted Living's. The only difference is you are paying for the so called status-quo at those other places! This place is affordable, compared to other places around here. Add up all the costs, you will see for yourself. Don't let the free lunch fool you at those places The care - you or your loved ones should get the best care possible. Whether it is Assisted Living or Memory Care, you deserve a place that will make sure to take care of YOUR NEEDS. There is no perfect place. Make sure to do your research. I have done mine! You will be in good hands, and of course ask for Denise Higgins!

My neighbor is ready for Assisted Living. Shayna Was So Delightful giving us a tour. The Facility Well Designed And Decorated. Every possible need and details addressed from transportation to meals and activities I would have given 5 Stars with the exception of a few MAINTENANCE matters at elevators and Ac vent leaks. Overall A 5 Star Experience.

My mom moved into Atria, now Meridien three years ago. She has been very happy, but things have changed drastically since Pacifica took over. Countless wonderful staff have left, including the two directors Pacifica brought in. The residents are confused and concerned. As my 96 year old mom said this evening, "We don't know who's in charge. It's a terrible feeling to live here in the middle of the staff changes." I am also very concerned about the lack of security. There is always someone at the desk, but they are usually young people on their cell phones. If someone dangerous or inappropriate entered the facility, would they know what to do? There should be cameras throughout the building. Recently a few residents' apartments have been robbed. Why aren't there cameras and secure entrances and exits. I live in NY and when I hear these stories, I'm obviously concerned. I need to know my mother is safe and secure. Pacifica is pouring money into renovations, but they need to first put into place a permanent and secure staff that understands the concerns of the elderly residents and communicates regularly with them. Weekends are especially concerning to me- if there's an emergency, who, other than the person at the desk is available? Obviously, Covid has changed all our lives, but please remember the people who live in this"luxury" facility are human beings who need friendliness, consideration, and someone trustworthy and capable of providing strong leadership. I know this is a "business" but word of mouth is what keeps a place alive. Many families are concerned and not very happy about life at Meridien Lantana right now!

My mother's move to Meridian has been great. Ken found us a great apartment very quickly. Randi has been there for me directing me to the right people and Jean has helped my mother with meals and support when she calls the front desk. My mother adjusted quickly thanks to the friendly care givers and the amazing food. She has only been there 1 month, but she is adding new activities and friendships every day.

I gave two stars for the simple reason being Jamie that sits in the front is very rude on professional does not know how to speak to people he is in the wrong field this field is for people who have compassion for elders and who want to better their lives a lot of the staff there are very rude an impolite and just have no passion and no care and concerns and just really have no heart in the work that they are doing the heart is not in the right place and it's sad they have recently renovated maybe they should renovate their staff it's sad that these elderly people are subjected to this kind of staff when they are paying for their services

My dad moved to The Meridian only a few weeks ago. The staff has really made him feel welcome as he is settling into his new home. He raves about everyone and how well he is treated. I enjoy my dads daily updates about the food and the engaging activities. I am especially appreciative of Edwin Villatoros help. He went out of his way to assist me and my dad with setting up some things on his new smartphone. My dad shares how Edwin is a great guy and is so supportive and helpful. I am so glad that my dad is living at this facility. It puts my mind at ease knowing hes safe and well cared for. And beyond that, he is truly HAPPY! Thank you all at the Meridian for all you do every day!

Our experiences with Meridian have been beyond what we thought would be possible. Everyone from the director and marketing team, the nurses and care team, the business office, the front desk managers and all the way to the cleaning crew and maintenance, literally everyone has been attentive, courteous, respectful and kind to our parents now that they need regular assistance beyond what we could provide. I personally have sampled the various meals, and found them all to be fresh and tasty - you can always add your own seasonings to spice things up if desired. The community is cozy, and it feels warm and inviting. Yes, the building is in need of some TLC, and they seem to be working towards that; but all in all, we could not be more pleased with our decision to become part of the Meridian family (it really does feel like family). No, I am not getting paid to write this. The fact is, our experiences with Meridian have changed my own outlook on assisted living. Yes, it takes time to grow accustomed to life in an ALF, but there is the opportunity for activities and friendship and at the end of the day, the peace of mind knowing we have compassionate help for our loved ones when they need it most is priceless.

Just wow! I have had a great deal of experience with older relatives and their care in assisted living facilities. But NEVER have I found a place as wonderful as Atria Meridian in Lantana, FL. I am responsible for the care of a 97 year old cousin who is in perfect shape mentally and almost perfect shape physically. But after the passing of her husband, the time to live alone had come to an end. We did an extensive area search and after visiting several facilities, my wife and I agreed that Atria Meridian was the right place. FIrst, I must rave about the staff and management. The director, Judy and her staff, Gisela and Tiffany are more like family. Dealing with them is like dealing with a cousin or sibling. Good humored, but totally knowledgeable, and very serious about their work and the welfare of the residents. We can truly relax, knowing there are "grownups" in charge here. The physical location is convenient and the campus is lovely. A gorgeous outdoor swimming pool for residents and guests is complimented by a lovely shaded porch and sitting area. The lobby sports multiple levels and an organ and baby grand piano for the many activities they offer daily. There is a concierge desk staffed 24/7 for security and help. There is ample parking outside in a private lot. The dining room resembles that of a small hotel or cruise ship. Linen table cloths and napkins at dinner, a broad selection of well prepared, delicious food and, get this, breakfast is served all day! I have seen the chef out and about often and he is happy to talk about the food, the menus and the service. Each of the apartments, whether two bedroom, one bedroom, or studio is neat, well appointed and once the resident's own furnishings are in place, it feels like home. Basic cable TV is included. WiFi and private telephone in the apartment are available through Comcast. Atria Meridian provides Independent Living and Assisted Living. There are assessment criteria for this and the great staff helps to decide what's best for each resident on a personally tailored basis. I could go on and on, but I don't want to sound like a commercial. I am a real person and would be happy to answer your questions. Better still check out Atria Meridian yourself. The fees are reasonable, the value is incredible and the peace of mind is priceless.

There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing this facility is. My father unfortunetly passed away 1/23/19. Before his passing I can honestly say he lives his BEST 2 final years arc Atria. I always kept up with their activites and new they offered so many things. My father always raved about everything they offered but what I didn’t learn until his passing was the true amount of love that the staff has for their residents. My father was in hospice care and I truly watched everyone from the Director to the kitchen staff come to love on my father. During his final hours I was able to truly see the amount of love these employees have for their residents. They all knew him by name and truly knew everything about him. Before choosing Atria, 2 years ago, for my father, I toured several locations. There is no comparison to the warmth received at this facility. Atria gave my father life and a family. He made so many friends at Atria and truly enjoyed every second. I have vowed to stay connected to atria since my fathers passing as it helps me with the grieving process. They have made me feel so welcomed and I am enjoying every chance I get spending time with my fathers friends who are still residents at Atria. The director Judy has truly gone above and beyond for me and I can see that it’s just who she is and she does it for everyone. All my fathers friends rave about being there. How much they enjoy it. Some don’t even have family or family near by and they say how it doesn’t bother them because they are so loved by the staff and how well taken care of they are. At my fathers memorial service I couldn’t say enough about Atria. Senior living can sound scary, it sounded scary to me 2 years ago but if you take the opportunity to actually tour the facility and see the residents, you will see and hear how Atria is truly the most amazing place to be. I truly know that atria extended my fathers life by the life they gave him his final years.

I am 92-years-old and have lived at Atria Meridian for about three years. I have been widowed for 30 years now and miss my wife dearly. I never thought in my life that I would be living in this type of facility. But after some time here, I have learned I can adjust myself to this type of living here at Atria. If you want you can be busy all day with the activities that are scheduled each day by the Engage Life Director, Heather. There is a Registered Nurse here to assist in some problems you may have. Of course food is just about first on your list and we have a professional chef who plans the meals and a crew of very courteous servers to assist him. It never hurts to have a professional Executive Director, Judy, who has many years of experience heading up the whole facility.
