Reviews Williamstown Gardens
June 2026
I'm a relatively new resident of the Williamstown Gardens, and I give it two enthusiastic thumbs up. The people who work here are attentive, responsive, friendly and go out of their way to be accommodating. The food is terrific “ nutritious, delicious and plentiful. My apartment is bright and airy. When moving from my home as a senior citizen, I looked at several places in central Vermont and decided that independent living at the Williamstown Gardens was the best fit for me. That’s been the case; I highly recommend it.

I am a newish member of the Williamstown Gardens”I moved in June, 2024. When it was time for me to live on my own, my 3 daughters started looking into some places for me to go. When they did all the finances, we narrowed it down to two. My girls took me to visit them and when I walked into The Gardens I felt like I was at home. Residents and staff welcomed me with open arms. I was excited to get to know everyone. I joined the dinners and recreation and I could say that I would place a 5 for the Williamstown Gardens.

I love The Gardens. I have lived here since 2021. When I decided to downsize from my house and move to a smaller place, at first I was horrified that I wouldn't have enough room for things I really wanted to keep. I had seen an apartment at The Gardens and at first found it quite small. But once I moved in, I had plenty of room for everything I really wanted to keep and it wasn't small at all. The kitchen is really incredible--I can cook anything I want there, and I do a lot of cooking. The walls take all my favorite pictures--there is plenty of space! I am in a 1 bedroom apartment. I love the outdoors around the Gardens. There are vast lawns and woods behind the lawns. It is beautiful from my windows. I feel kind of one with nature. I have seen wild turkeys and hear an owl hoot at dusk. A pair of cardinals is always around. There are hummingbirds in the summer. There is a gazebo that someof us sit in in the summer. It is delightful. It looks out on the lawns and woods and a summer breeze is so relaxing. The Gardens is really a cozy place. The entrance and lobby is so nice. The place is decorated for the different seasons. The activities room, lounge, living room, and dining room are all a comfortable size that brings people together. There is lots going on here--It is easy to meet people and join in activities.

My parents currently live here and have been here for three years. The staff is friendly and courteous and very helpful. Covid-19 precautions are in place. Masks are required. The residents are friendly and are very social able. Food is typical and optionally. Each apartment is equipped with a galley kitchen. The bathrooms are handicapped equipped. Cleaning and laundry service is optional. This is a very beautiful place to live. As always, if you like this review please give it a thumbs up, like.

I am visiting with my mother-in-law at the Gardens. I don't know how to express how great this place is. Every person who works here has made me feel at home. I think they are rare. The feeling of community is nonstop and the surroundings are Vermont, you can't ask for more than that.
