Nicki was very nice. You didn't have a one bedroom at this time. The two bedroom carpet was nasty. I ask for it to be replaced by flooring but they could not. I can't afford the two bedroom. I have found another place that is very nice and beautiful.

We toured the Assisted Living and Memory care facilities at the Claiborne. We were impressed with how nice everything was.

I would highly suggest taking to heart that seeing is believing….OR NOT! Come spend sometime with the existing residents and maybe call BINGO or POKENO, to get the true story of what goes on inside the walls and halls!!! Some of these reviews are definitely from other facilities.

Was shown the closest door to our unit. Had plenty of time to move in. The facility disposed of any large packing boxes that we had. Overall a good experience.

Where do I start to express our gratitude for the above and beyond care our loved one received from The Claiborne? Our Mother/mother in law went in for respite care after knee replacement and difficulty with AFIB, urinary issues and sleeping patterns. The entire process from getting the information we needed, processing all necessary paperwork and getting her into the facility was at rapid speed. The furniture in the room was even considered and set up to accommodate her needs. The bed was turned completely around to another wall so she could get out and reach the bathroom at the shortest distance. She was allowed to bring her own recliner for comfort. The facility was immaculate and beautiful. Every meal was brought to her in her private room and she enjoyed each one. The staff often encouraged her to join others in the dining area for interaction and walking exercise. She was greeted with fresh fruit in her fridge and a candy bouquet upon arrival The nurses, staff, activity director and all others were very kind, caring and on top of things at all times . Very special thanks to Renee(executive director) and Michael Berthelot for embracing us with open arms and giving us all peace of mind that our special loved one was taken care of at all times. If we should ever need their services again, we will definitely return to The Claiborne. This all took place during Covid and we were very pleased with precautions taken and how smoothly they still managed to keep things flowing. Thank you Claiborne

My mom has a few issues with memory and not wanting to listen to anyone. The employees here are the most friendly, understanding, kind people I have ever met in her situation. They are very patient and kind with her. She is living the best life right now being at the Claiborne! I am an RN, i have patients there, the staff is outstanding, the entire facility looks like it came right out of an interior decorator magazine, the residents are happy and content. There are activities for all of them, i want to live there !! ?

I would definitely recommend The Claiborne at Thibodaux. Everyone in the community has been great and they provide exceptional care for my father. Activities are offered to the residents at the moment there really isn't an outdoor activity my father likes that they offer. They do however try to work on the needs of the residents. The food is okay there are no complaints about it.

We looked at a few places for mom and dad and The Claiborne seemed to be the best. It is a new facility and will meet the individual needs of both parents! Since it is a new facility, it does have a few kinks to work out; no place is perfect but I feel The Claiborne is willing to work with the entire family to make mom and dad's quality of life better. I am very grateful for having the ability to help mom and dad make such an important decision. Thanks to A Place For Mom for guiding us in making the correct choice for our parents! We are referring other family members to The Claiborne to help them in making their choices also.
