I was first impressed with the Claiborne in Thibodaux when I was invited With a Chamber group for breakfast one morning shortly after it opened. I was not expecting that residents there were able to order from a menu for their meals. That was quite a nice feature. I have more recently been to meetings in the Claiborne’s club room, and Nikki Boudreaux has always been very accommodating to assist us with set up, even standing on tiptoes to attach an HDMI input to a TV on the wall for a PowerPoint presentation. Now that’s going above and beyond.

Recently visited the Claiborne looking for a home for my elderly mother. Although we have changed our mind about placing mom in an assisted living environment, I have to tell you guys that I was absolutely excited and sold on "The Claiborne". My sister and I visited your facility a few years ago when we first learned that mom's dementia was beginning. We both said "no way" we putting mom In here. Our case worker me too Ed that the place was under new management. And while considering our busy lives, we briefly revisited the idea of a new community for mom. From the moment we walked in the place felt different in a good way. The front desk staff was attentive and didn't allow us to wander in anticipation for help. He immediately addressed us.....with a smile. We then were introduced to the Director. I can't recall her name but I believe it was Triggs or Diggs. Never have I met an executive so I tune and involved. Smart, bright, listened to our needs. She assured us that she wa actively involved in every aspect of the facility and was passing that commitment to every employee. Should our needs change......your facility will be our first choice. Tremendous strides since our last visit

I've heard many great stories about this place, but it wasn't until I had the privilege of seeing for myself to confirm it. It's a very beautiful facility, well- kept, clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and always ready to assist. Under the new regime that's been put in place sky is the limit for any family to consider making it a home for their love ones. They couldn't have chosen a better executive director to lead the staff and place going forward. She's a hard worker, kindhearted, and definitely has a wonderful spirit about her; Exactly the kind of leader a company would be honored and proud to have. Nicki was very nice. You didn’t have a one bedroom at this time. The two bedroom carpet was nasty. I ask for it to be replaced by flooring but they could not. I can’t afford the two bedroom. I have found another place that is very nice and beautiful.

Where do I start to express our gratitude for the above and beyond care our loved one received from The Claiborne? Our Mother/mother in law went in for respite care after knee replacement and difficulty with AFIB, urinary issues and sleeping patterns. The entire process from getting the information we needed, processing all necessary paperwork and getting her into the facility was at rapid speed. The furniture in the room was even considered and set up to accommodate her needs. The bed was turned completely around to another wall so she could get out and reach the bathroom at the shortest distance. She was allowed to bring her own recliner for comfort. The facility was immaculate and beautiful. Every meal was brought to her in her private room and she enjoyed each one. The staff often encouraged her to join others in the dining area for interaction and walking exercise. She was greeted with fresh fruit in her fridge and a candy bouquet upon arrival ’• The nurses, staff, activity director and all others were very kind, caring and on top of things at all times . Very special thanks to Renee(executive director) and Michael Berthelot for embracing us with open arms and giving us all peace of mind that our special loved one was taken care of at all times. If we should ever need their services again, we will definitely return to The Claiborne. This all took place during Covid and we were very pleased with precautions taken and how smoothly they still managed to keep things flowing. Thank you Claiborne’•
