I recently was appalled at the bookkeeping methods used. From improper posting between accounts resulting in unnecessary late notices, phone calists, etc. I have spent many hours going over the billing and payments for my loved ones. Due to previous employees, I think Brookdale should perform an audit. I was actually told payments are misapplied when there are are couples living in different rooms.

My aunt has been in the memory care unit for some time now we visit her a lot this place is amazing Sofia is very kind Brittney is very creative with the residents her activities always put a smile on my aunt face she enjoy her spa days and she has also been posted on the Brookdale facebook page cooking and painting I enjoy that the activities allow her to engage and she even has other residents as friends. I recently visited and my aunt spoke so well about the fried chicken I could not believe being in her condition she would remember fried chicken I would love to meet the chef I did always appreciate Pam she is very professional and has always been kind to my auntie I could not give the facility a 5 star because of the strong smoke smell near the front door from a staff member it was the weekend and she stood by the entrance and was smoking a cigarette the smell lingered on her as well as the community it was not very professional I do know this young lady name and will speak to management i do know managers may not work on weekends but the staff should adhere to the policy other than that I appreciate the memory care staff and it’s always a pleasure to know your love ones are cared for.

My mother has been at Brookdale in Memory care for over a year now. The staff is caring and very attentive. The facilty is very clean and welcoming. They have a lovely patio area that the residents can enjoy. I can rest easy knowing that my Mother is very well taken care of. I highly recommend this place for your loved one.

Blake was a huge help in moving my aunt from one room to another. I wasn't sure how my mom and I were going to move all the big pieces of furniture and he had already had it all moved before we were scheduled to be there. He has been a huge help to my mom and aunt since day one!

Yesterday, I had to move my sister from a private room to a companion room. I was told to be there by 2:00 and I was. Blake had already moved the heavy things from her private room to the semi private room. This man has been nothing but help from the days before I moved my sister into the assisted living part of Brookdale! I was in a bad situation . My sister lived in Washington State and I had to move her closer to me. She had no children and her husband had just passed on. I think the Good Lord put me in touch with Blake. He was honest with me from the beginning and said this was a Blue Collar place and that was just what I wanted....this was 5 years ago. He has since been a part of all the moves I've had to do for my sister. He had her room cleaned out in no time and made my life easier than I had expected! This man has been a marvel in my life making it easier for me in the past 5 years. I couldn't have done any of this without him! Kudos to the kind and wonderful man he is!

My sister and I moved our eldest sister into Brookdale a year ago this month. It was a very stressful time for us and everyone was compassionate, helpful, and welcoming from day 1. Our sister is doing exceptionally well with all of the attention she's received. She is also now one of the facility ambassadors; giving smiles and warm hugs to everyone and helping the new residents adjust to their new surroundings. The staff tells me that she brightens their day. Any concerns, of which there are few, were addressed immediately and with a true desire to make sure my sister is comfortable and well taken care of. She loves the food and often tells me the staff is very attentive to her dietary needs. I cannot say how much I appreciate the care this facility gives, that is why I rated them 5 stars!

Highly recommend this Brookdale location! We moved my mother-in-law into her apartment there in May, and she is so happy. The staff we've encountered during this transition have been kind and professional. I dropped in, always unexpectedly and the staff were always friendly and professional. At one visit a resident approached me and began telling me how happy she was to live there. Our first encounter with Brookdale was with Blake Schooley on a phone conversation. He was the most kind, compassionate, and helpful person we could have hoped for. After helping us to navigate all the unknowns, we were able to get my mom into the memory care facility at Brookdale. From there, we were put into the very capable hands of Tilly Doe, the Health and wellness coordinator in the memory care building. She has been the most sweet and understanding lady, you can tell she really cares about each person. We are grateful for Brookdale and all the staff there.

Blake has been wonderful right from the start. He's always caring and kind and going above and beyond to find ways to engage the residents. Since Ben has come to Brookdale everything is very organized and he along with other staff are there long after a normal "workday" would end. Kimberly is always looking for fun and exciting activities for engaging all of the residents. My dad has told me more then once that he's pretty sure they all live at Brookdale too because they are always there! I also can't say enough about Jackie and Brenda who do much more then I'm sure their normal job description is! I was stuck in a terrible spot, having to leave my house back to face to face work and knowing I couldn't leave dad home alone. I came to Blake crying and he explained everything easily and made me confident that he would help with all of our needs! Thank you!

Brookdale's staff is amazing all the way from the leaders Blake to the maintenance staff and receptionist Jackie and Brenda. They are always showing they genuinely care for my mother and are willing to help me with her. This began on day one when the leader actually assisted me in not only caring in the furniture but setting it up in the room. I really cant say enough about all of them.. They even pleasantly correct me when i do something wrong to protect the patients like walking into the cafeteria to see my mother.. So i know they enforce the new Covid restrictions. They even called me when they notice mom feeling down and maybe i should take her to dinner. That is great observation on their part. I would strongly recommend if you have an elder that needs assisted living location to take a strong look at Brookdale.
