This facility of care is top notch! When I walk in there, I see and witness a caring and professional staff doing the business of caring for our families that can no longer do it by themselves. Your greeted when you arrive for a visit, front lobby is super nice, great for visiters if you prefer in open verses room. A solon for men's and women's haircuts. The dining is awesome, much like a restaurant with menu. They provide transportation for various things, i.e. Medical appt's, outings to shop, etc... My mother is Medicare Pathways; she's treated with the same respect as anyone else residing. I love the staff, very engaging. There is just so much here to be excited about and to appreciate. I sleep well at night knowing my mother is here.

5/13/2026 Update: Just wanted to follow up and say how much we appreciate every staff member and all that care for our Aunt and the residents here. Still having a exceptional experiance and the Executive Director is really getting a lot of work and updates started at the facilities. Thank you to all for a great place for our Aunt. We have brought our Aunt here in the last two months and the process of getting her in at Cedar Creek has really been smooth. The staff have all been open and responsive to my Aunts needs and ours. I see true servant hearts in all the staff do for the residents here. I appreciate all the do and help with in our absence. My Aunt is getting settled in and doing really well at 93 years old and making the change with the communities help. Thank you to everyone!!!

I've lived here in this facility for 5 years. One year ago a new company purchased the building. It's now Cedar Creek. I simply LOVE this company. They're still making changes both to the building and staff. They demand respect be shown to residents and families. We go out every Tuesday and Friday. We go everywhere. We eat out every Tuesday and Fridays but only if you want to join us I will probably die here. I love it that much.

The food is always overcooked and usually cold by the time my mother receives her meals. The day staff is very thoughtful and helpful; night staff not so much. I wish we had checked out the meals before choosing this residence.

My parents were here at Ceder Creek for over 2 years. The care and attention they received was great, especially after the new director of nursing came. Dewendelin was on top of things and always available for questions or needs, she always followed through. There was less turnover with aides after she came. The aides were caring and helped with my parents in many ways. I would say the food was average, mom didn’t care for a lot of things but dad thought it was good. They are in the process of new furnishings and I would say it is needed. They definitely need electric doors for persons with wheelchairs and walkers. Also need attention to the drive and more parking.

Cedar Creek has warmly welcomed my handicap sister to their facility. The director went above and beyond to help me get my sister back to Indiana. I am forever grateful to her. The staff is friendly and everyone goes out of their way to help my sister. The activities planned daily keep my sister busy and when I stop by she is rarely in her room. In just a very short tenure, my sister considers Cedar Creek her new home and is so much safer and happier.

From the moment we walked in the door, we could tell something was different. My family has had much exposure to assisted living facilities over the years, so we do have something concrete to compare Cedar Creek to. The staff are so caring here, and to a level I have never experienced at any similar facility. They took as much time with my family member as she needed during the tour and treated her with patience and care like they would their own mother. The Same could be said for the interview process and move in. The administrator was highly supportive and her attitude and genuineness convey, more than words do, that her door is open for you, the staff, and the residents. Staff were genuinely welcoming and supportive and, again, treat people like a family. The residents are also just so sweet and caring towards each other. The rare attitude and spirit of this community make it a priceless choice for your loved one, and point to an excellent management and value system.

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing nearly a week of daily life here at Cedar Creek of Muncie IN - while helping my relative move in and simultaneously move out of her old house. The staff deserve the spotlight for this review, because they are truly outstanding. Everyone helps everyone and everyone seems to be a part of all tasks - from cooking, to activities, to chatting with the residents. Way to go, Cedar Creek, your management style seems to have fostered a great and caring team! My relative is happily settling in and truly appreciates the change of environment - for the better- that living here affords her. I’m sure there will be bumps in the road, but knowing that everyone from the cleaning staff to the administrator really care, means we don’t need to stress!

My great aunt has met so many people she used to know here. Moving in has been a great decision for her. She has been alone for so many years, and is already benefiting from getting out in a community again. It took a lot of convincing at first, but, after the tour here, she decided that the pros outweighed the cons. You should have heard her selling HERSELF on it after a whileno utility bill to pay, no property taxes, help when I need it, cleaning support, 3 meals a day. THANK YOU

I am so happy to be able to leave a five star review for Cedar Creek of Muncie! There are a lot of good things to say, but I’ll hit the highlights. The administrator is very friendly and personable. She took a lot of time (without hovering) to make sure that move in went as smoothly as possible for my family member. The level of teamwork and cohesion among the staff is amazing. They really work together well to fill in any gaps where someone else is busy. My family member pressed the button on their pendant and two staff came immediately. Finally- the food is A++ and the dining atmosphere is great. They did a Thanksgiving spread yesterday and my loved one was raving 🙂

My mother is a resident at Cedar Creek in Muncie and receives excellent care from the staff. She was lonely living alone and has made friends there to keep her company. She is unable to do her own laundry in which they do every week for her along with cleaning her room and changing her sheets. She also is unable to cook and she receives 3 meals a day with breakfast being served in her room. She is very happy with that. They administer her meds twice dailey without any problems. Thank you Cedar Creek for taking good care of my mother. That means alot.

My dad is a resident at Cedar Creek in Muncie,IN and has received excellent care here. He takes medicine three times a day and always receives his medicine on time.Dad no longer can cook for himself and receives three nutritious meals a day here at Cedar Creek. Everyone is kind and friendly here. I appreciate the residents and staff here very much. When Dad was at home he became lonely because there wasn't anyone to talk to but now he has friends and staff here to keep him company. Thank you Cedar Creek

I had recently taken a tour around the community, and I must say that I am truly impressed with how clean the staff keeps it. everyone is friendly and helpful. The residents seem to be pretty comfortable as well.

My mother lived at Lynd Place for several years. She recently died from Covid 19 which she got there as she was not allowed out of room. Also someone brought bed bugs to the facility and she had been dealing with that the past few months. When movers came to pick up her things they visibly saw bugs and eggs so all chairs and bed had to be discarded. I had thought highly of Lynd Place but no longer. My mother sounded very ill on phone spoke with staff to check on her. They had not checked her for covid her oxygen saturation was 83 should be at least 90. Sent to ed she was septic from urinary infection and had covid. My concern is why did they do nothing when she was obviously ill.

My mother resided at Lynd House for a year and a half. She loved it there! We found the entire staff to be compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. The facility itself is beautiful. I highly recommend this retirement home as an outstanding facility for your loved one.
