I toured the property as a possibility for my mother. The sales manger Howard took me on a tour and addressed all my concerns and questions. He was genuine and I felt he truly cared about my mother’s needs. He followed up and made me feel comfortable about any decision we made. In the end my mother felt that it was too far away from us and we had to choose a closer property. When we called Howard about our decision he only cared about my mom’s best interest. I felt he was truly concerned about us and I’m disappointed we weren’t able to get my mom to stay at this facility because the level of care and kindness was just so high here.

Our mother has lived at Atria nearly two years. We found the convenience of moving in, just down the street very stress free. Atria provided us with the resources we needed to make the transition as easy as possible. None of us children live close by, so we have been please that we can trust her well being to a caring and friendly staff. They update us, and welcome us when we can visit. I toured Atria Las Posas after my mother fell and needed short-term 24/7 support. The sales director, David, was so personable and welcoming, and he knew every resident we saw by name, which was a great thing to see. As we passed residents in the hallways, everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there. This gave me peace of mind about having my mom stay there. My mom ended up moving in for a 2-week respite stay and it was SUCH a great experience for her. From the nurses, to the kitchen staff, to the other residents--everyone was so kind to her! Any questions or concerns she had were addressed immediately. Her studio apartment had plenty of room to accommodate a walker and was decorated very cute. Additionally, the whole facility felt very clean and safe. Overall, a VERY positive experience at Atria Las Posas and would highly recommend not only for others considering it, but also for my own family members in the future. Looking forward to seeing our new friends there again!

Wonderful retirement home! We chose Atria because of the warm and personal reception from David and the team, their efforts to go above and beyond to help facilitate the transition for my Aunt physically and it has a solid financial incentive for the price, nice food (the Chef cares for sure!) and it was the ONLY home that had balconies! Its a 78 degree average in Camarillo. Being cooped up with no private space outside was a hard no for us. Atria and its management and care is doing a great job in difficult times for people. Im so glad we chose this home. My aunt made quite a few friends. It was the right choice for my family. Thank you Atria for caring and taking pride in what you do.

The only discomfort here is the unavoidable adjustment of living in community again. That would take acceptance and adjustment in any retirement facility. BUT here, it is worth the adjustment!!! The residents are interesting, and caring! The surroundings are clean and absolutely beautiful!! The staff is remarkably personable and caring! And the opportunities for in- house activities are plentiful. The transportation provided by Atria has been a life saver for me. As well as the weekly outings that are offered. The menus, too, are designed for discerning adults, far from bland or routine. Our resident council holds monthly meetings where all are invited, suggestions are proposed by residents, any confusions or concerns are addressed, and information is imparted to us directly. There is a high regard here for each person,’s dignity and individuality. I would not want to live any where else.

I was living at home with in home care that was not satisfactory. The cost of in home care became too costly. A relative was working at Atria in another location and mentioned that Atria Las Posas was best for me. The first day I came here I met David Driscoll-Helmsteder and a resident Emily. I immediately fell in love with both. That was the middle of Feb 2024 and I moved into a very nice located 1 Bedroom on the ides of March. The exterior location is exemplary across from a park, a church and located near shopping areas with walking distance (if you can walk) more than a couple of blocks. ALL the Staff are kind, compassionate, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I honestly have not met anyone I can say I do not like. David in particular is my go to guy. He makes any situation laughable, dressed professionally and is genuinely concerned about each and every resident. I highly recommend Atria Las Posas as a choice for you before a choice has to made for you.

I've waited about 4 months to write a review thinking their care or engagement would diminish - it hasn't. They are just as attentive and caring as they were from day one. I visited 3 other facilities in Camarillo and knew Atria was the spot for my grandparents after meeting with their team. During the tour, things almost seemed to good to be true. Staff and even upper management knew the residents names and engaged with them socially. I toured some other facilities thinking it was too good to be true. Don't let the tour throw you off, they are actually being genuine and treat their residents like that all day every day. Fortunately, my grandparents agreed they needed some help with life tasks like medications, food, housekeeping, etc. They are so grateful they made the change. I believe they were socially suppressed at their home but now have plenty of social engagement at Atria. The stresses of life have drastically diminished and they can enjoy life, each other, still go out and dine with friends and of course come to our family events. The staff has been very alert and have helped my grandmother get medical care right away when needed. I could go on and on but the staff is truly passionate about their residents and I know that is not always easy to do in their profession. Highly recommend.

My uncle who is a very active person moved there about a year ago. While change is never easy he seemed pretty happy when we spoke with him by phone. We recently drove up to see him , have lunch which we brought and spend some time with him. The staff we spoke with prior to the trip were more than professional and accommodating..... Giving us options and support that was highly forthcoming versus having to ask/make inquiries for. Upon our arrival which was just before noon, the staff was of course buzy serving lunch to the residents of which they treated them not as a client per set but more like very close friends.... Not rushing to perform tasks but carefully embracing them for all their needs and engaging in conversation as well...... We had reserved a private dining room which was everything you would hope for in having a beautiful family meal...... Relaxed, professional, friendly support! Stella iirr took care of us literally along with the kitchen staff in not only checking and offering a variety of support throughout the lunch which we brought....but unexpectedly offered additional side dishes they had available....plus beverages, etc. Much more than we would have expected or even asked for!!!!!! Most restaurants don't provide this type of support honestly! My Uncle was both mentally and physically in excellent shape.....with his same sense of humor and wit!!!!!!! Our family has nothing but the most sincerest appreciation for all the support they are giving our cherished family member!!!!!

My Mom had been living alone, and we needed to find a place for her that would keep her safe, help her take care of herself, and meet all of her personal concerns, as well as help her adjust in a kind and caring manner as she had lived in her home for 57 years. Atria has exceeded all expectations. From the beginning, David Driscoll-Helmstedter set the tone. I let him know that we wanted a tour and that my Mom was very hesitant. He made us all feel comfortable, welcomed, and his energy was so positive that my Mom turned around in one visit. He graciously spent hours with us and answered an endless amount of questions for us. He was efficient and knowledgeable, and he helped us take advantage of all the applicable discounts available upon move in. We'll never be able to say thank you enough for his help! My Mom has now been living in Atria for three months, and she is so happy. She loves her apartment, and speaks highly of the residents but most especially of the staff. She is all smiles and enjoys her new friendships. She told her granddaughter that she loves her new home, and that she is no longer lonely and sad because she has made new friends. She is thriving, and she lets all her old friends know how happy she is now. She says all of the staff are so kind, sweet, and helpful to her. She once again feels independent, and she is living a wonderful life with dignity. A big thank you to David, Rob, Ken, Francie, Marta, and the memory care staff for taking great care of her, but most especially for making her feel like she is important, loved, and part of the Atria family. My parents moved into Atria 1 month ago. The entire experience so far has been amazing. David gave us our initial tour and was so kind, so friendly, and very honest. He told us about this amazing community within Atria and the wonderful staff, everything he said is true. My Dad has been dealing with Parkinson's disease for over 17 years now. We were very concerned about the nursing care for him especially during the night. The nursing staff has been so wonderful, very attentive, very kind, and very caring. My mom is flourishing. She (and my Dad) are enjoying the social activities offered. They participate in daily exercise classes, bingo or brain games, resident meetings, arts and crafts projects, and have even gone to one of the nightly movies. The food is delicious. My mom is so happy to not have to cook anymore and just loves being able to have three meals a day that offer variety and taste delicious. One of my siblings and I were skeptical about having my parents move into an assisted living home, however this has been a great experience for us and my parents. I highly recommend Atria senior living.

The entire staff at Atria Las Posas is superb! Unlike many other places, they say what they are going to do and they go far beyond when it is time to deliver. David, Rob and Kim have gone out of their way along with a huge supportive staff who value their residents as a family and not customers of their services. The move-in very quickly took us from some discomfort to a celebration of life for our parents who are very excited as well to take this next step in their lives with a place they can call home again. I cant say enough about how wonderful Atria Las Posas has been for my Grandmother. David Driscoll-Helmstedter could not have been more helpful with guiding our very large family through the process and moving things along quickly. He really understood how important a decision finding a home for an older loved one can be and he put everyone's mind at ease. He is Amazing!! Dee Dee, the life guidance director is a skilled and kind individual who worked (and still works) hard to make my grandmother feel comfortable in memory care. Ken Link, the maintenance director was so valuable in getting her room set up and even made sure she had her favorite channel on her television so that she felt comfortable. Every time I visit Atria I am struck by how homey it feels, with so much light and activity. The care staff are really that, caring. They take the time to sit with the residents and talk to them and get to know their needs so that they can accommodate them in a way that respects their individuality, independence and dignity. So many people in town had recommended Atria prior to our selection and I understand why. This is the right choice -they are simply the best!

After living 63 years in one home, my parents made the decision to move to Atria Las Posas. My Father is 92 and Mother is 90 and have been welcomed with open arms by all the staff here at Atria. They have enjoyed their new lifestyle for just more than a year. Mom and Dad have made many new friends and partake in numerous classes offered such as variety of exercise, arts & crafts, educational and learning opportunities. During this COVID -19 pandemic it has been very trying for all and Atria has gone over and above to protect all the residents and staff. They have been vigilant and committed to following all the guidelines and monitoring the CDC for news and developments related to COVID. Atria has individualized all classes during this COVID so that the residents can continue with somewhat of normalcy and still stay safe and active. Involvement is always encouraged with of course, all protocols in place. My parents have come to enjoy their new life here at Atria and consider many of the staff an extended part of their Family. Compassion and respect is always shown along with a lot of laughter and love. I have come to know all the directors by their first names and very pleased with their passion to create the best environment for all residents. Atria has been a blessing for us!

My brother and I were having a very difficult time with my mom who was living alone. Her memory was rapidly deteriorating, she had been scammed many times, and she had fallen twice and needed stitches above her eye. She was very hesitant to leave her apartment that she loved. We asked her to visit Atria with us and from the first time I spoke with David I felt like it would be the right place for her. David spent hours with us touring the grounds and answering all of our questions. He fought for us to get a great price for our mom. She knew that day it was where she wanted to be and was excited about moving in. Since she has been there (2 months) she has loved every minute of it, even with the COVID restrictions. The staff goes above and beyond to spend time with the residents and make them feel welcome and cared for. Every staff member my brother and I interacted with was amazing, very caring and patient. The residents are all fantastic as well and have welcomed our mom with open arms. She has made many new friends and calls us all the time to tell us how happy she is there. The staff is very proactive in their activities and "brain-teaser" games they hand out for the residents to keep their minds sharp. In additional to our mom being cared for and having medical attention if needed, her memory has actually improved since being there! Atria has been such a blessing in all of our lives, we were definitely divinely guided there. David, along with the rest of the staff, are truly amazing and caring people. The residents are quick to tell you that "you will love it here" and they were absolutely right about that for our mom. I would 100% recommend Atria Las Posas to anyone who is struggling with the decision of where to have a parent or loved one live for assistance and care if that is needed. Three years ago my mother, Barbara Burns, was hesitant to move to any assisted living facility. After visits to many of the options in the Camarillo area, we decided on a trial stay for a month at Atria Las Posas. After one week there Mom decided to stay in her room. Day by day she has grown to love it there as much as she did her big house on the hill. What she really loves are the people at Atria. Residents, Housekeeping, Red Shirt Caregivers, Kitchen and Dinning, Transportation, everyone is so loving. My family and I are her only direct relative and we all live halfway across the country and depend on Atria the keep us informed. We stay in touch with Mom by phone, but are so very grateful for the careful attention that everyone at Atria gives to my mother. My whole family was recently able to coordinate schedules so that we could all be together with "Gammy" at Atria Las Posas. Jean at the front desk helped set up a lunch and Carlo in Dinning Services gave us special attention. It is clear to me that Jane Germaine has added another level of loving care to the community. The Atria Staff at Las Posas has provided a wonderful home for Mom for the last six years. She enjoys her open door to the outdoors where she watches the many birds that visit her bird feeders and can listen to the sounds of the children playing in the adjacent school yard. She wants to give special thanks to Anna Quiores and Affie who not only deliver loving personal care, but stop in just to cheer her day. While all the staff are attentive, Anna and Affie go above and beyond and it is much appreciated.
