My husband and I took a tour of the cottages yesterday for my father-in-law. Erica, the admission leader was Amazing and all the residents were amazing and so friendly and their gardens at this assisted living are Beautiful! All the rooms were spacious and very very clean! I would highly recommend this place to anybody! Good friends of ours had their mother and their mother-in-law in here and they loved it! Ones in a memory care facility now and one past because of age but the whole time they were here they absolutely loved They loved Erica and all the employees! She's Soo personable! I'd give her And the cottages a 12 plus rating!

My precious Dad lived at this facility. I could not have asked for a better place! They are all beyond kind and went over and beyond in his care! He loved the food and was very happy here! I give them 10 STARS!!! I highly recommend Columbia Cottage! Lots of activities to keep your loved ones busy and happy!!

My mother turned 100 yr old yesterday. She's been living in the Cottages close to nine years and chose it because of friends who had lived there. There's alway something to do and to keep families involved. She's always been well taken care of and the people have become like family. Yesterday they decorated and produced a fantastically done birthday party. She was so happy! She and I both agree there's no better place for her.

I cannot say enough about Columbia Cottage in Florence. The staff was so good to my sweet Mom. Although she was only there for a short time before she passed away, they made us feel like family. I would highly recommend them and this facility. Erica, Heather and Melinda were amazing. The RA's that cared for my Mom were so sweet and caring. Truly a blessing.

My husband and I moved both of our moms to The Cottage and are very pleased with the care they provide. Ericka, Heather, and the staff are so enthusiastic and seem to truly love working there. There are many activities going on and it’s a fun, happy place!

Columbia Cottages has been a life saver for our family. Loving and caring people there have made finding a new home for my stepdad much easier. Making that kind of decision for a loved one is very hard and you want to do what is best for them because their new home will also be part of the family. Charlie loves the Wednesday night bible study and music service and loves to dance when musicians come to play. Please visit Columbia in Florence if you are looking for a home for your loved one!

Columbia Cottage is a Godsend. My (almost) 91-year-old Mom has been living at the Cottage for two months now, and went quickly from uncertainty about what to expect to absolutely loving everything about it. All the residents seem to love living there and all the staff seem to love working there. I could write a novel praising everything about the Cottage, but suffice it to say once more, Columbia Cottage is a Godsend. From the great food, to the exciting activities, to the efficient care provided, we are more satisfied than we could ever have imagined. What a blessing to our family Columbia Cottage is!

Columbia Cottage fit the bill for the needs of my loved ones. It was near the home they lived in all their married life, which was of great comfort to them. The staff of Columbia Cottage is welcoming, caring, kind, helpful, and loving. Each person has a job to do, and they do it, but I would say, even more, their jobs are callings to love the residents and make them feel they are home. An added bonus is the residents themselves. What very special people! They are the gracious neighbors and friends one longs to have next door. Is Columbia Cottage perfect? No, but neither are the homes of the residents! However, one could look far and wide and never find a better assisted living facility. The house and grounds are in a beautiful residential setting, and the front porch is a respite with a pretty view. Each day brings opportunities to participate in various activities including arts and crafts, puzzles, speakers, music, baking, field trips, and more. But if that is not of interest, residents can read, sleep late, visit, take a walk, take a nap and enjoy a low key day--just like home. All of us want to be in our homes. When that is no longer possible, Columbia Cottage is a heaven sent alternative.

Mother has been living at the Cottages for just over two years. What an amazing place! Mom has totally thrived. At first, she tried to stay in her apartment except for meals. The staff gently and sweetly urged her to join in activities, and now we have to plan our visits around her activities, especially bingo and her hair appointments! Her health has improved, she never got COVID, her attitude is so positive, and they take care of everything for us - from keeping prescriptions filled and giving all meds timely, taking her to doctor appointments, to laundry, cleaning, and the meals are so good - Mom especially the desserts. The staff takes such a personal interest in each resident, and even put a card table in Mom's apartment during the pandemic so she could work puzzles when not allowed to get out. Because my family and I live in Texas, we seriously considered moving Mom here to be closer to me. However, after seeing her for the first time since the pandemic started, we knew, without a doubt, that Mom is in the perfect place for her, she is home. I can't put into words the peace of mind and blessings that the Cottages of Florence provide to my family.
