Our family could not be happier with the care our mom has received at The Seasons of Saxonburg over the past two months. From the moment she moved in, we knew she was in a safe, loving, and caring environment. Most importantly, Mom is happy ” and that means everything to us. The staff has been absolutely wonderful. Every caregiver treats the residents with kindness, patience, and respect, and it truly feels like one big family. A very special thank you to Dawn, the director, whose compassion and dedication shine through in everything she does. She goes above and beyond to make sure both residents and families feel comfortable and supported. The facility itself is always clean, bright, and welcoming. We love that the residents sit together and enjoy meals as a community ” it creates such a warm and social atmosphere. There are always fun and entertaining activities planned that keep Mom engaged, smiling, and looking forward to each day. The community is known for its daily activities and special resident events, which really adds to that family feel. As a family, there is such peace of mind knowing our mom is safe, cared for, and truly happy. Seeing the extra touches, like hosting a beautiful Mother’s Day Tea for the residents and their families, means so much to us. It shows how much love and thought The Seasons puts into making every resident feel special. We are beyond grateful for everyone at The Seasons of Saxonburg and highly recommend them to any family looking for a caring home for their loved one.

This is a beautiful facility with staff that truly care for the residents. We knew after touring many, many facilities what we wanted and did not want and Seasons met all of our expectations and went above and beyond. My relative was always happy and well taken care of, spoke highly of the staff that cared for her, and that meant so much to our family. If you need to make this tough decision, check out Seasons of Saxonburg!

As many may know nursing is not easy and can be very stressful. I want to express from the bottom of my heart; I have had nothing but great experiences with this facility. Staff is very friendly, help and caring. Very clean. Both RN and LPN are wonderful and care for everyone. Residents are very well cared for and loved. I always recommend them to anyone who asks where to place a loved one.

Where to start? The Seasons of Saxonburg is absolutely beautiful, clean, organized, and up-to-date. The DON, administrator, and facility staff are all wonderful, friendly, hands-on people who care for their residents. As a hospice nurse who is in different facilities daily, I can truly say that I would recommend the Seasons as my first choice to anyone!

My mom has been here for a year. It is a beautiful , clean and cozy place. Her transition was a hard one for her, but the staff is so friendly and really made her comfortable and help with any of her needs. The activities here have really brought my mom back to being a social butterfly which we have not seen for years. She has made a lot of friends and we are very grateful that she is in a safe place to care for her.

It is really unfortunate that someone would make up lies about an establishment like i am seeing on these recent reviews. Some of these people that write these horrible lies have never even set foot into The Seasons. (How can you review somewhere you have never been) Which if we are being honest, this is considered fabrication/falsification and punishable by law. I have a feeling a former employee is very disgruntled and trying to cause trouble which is very selfish. Your anger at one or two people does not make lying ok. You are being deceptive and frankly you should be embarrassed of your emotional reactions. Remember karma is real and unforgiving. I can assure everyone that The Seasons staff treats the residents well, the building is clean and is well maintained and the staff genuinely care about all of the residents. I stand firmly with my TRUE and accurate statements. I would recommend this facility to any of my friends and family.

Excellent run facility

The care of this home away from home is seen immediately. The staff does what you would hope to see in caring for your family. They become family. Dawn and Lenora, both upbeat and generative, continue to seek employees who care and consider the best interest of the residents over their own. It's not easy to do what they do and the staff strives to help each other get the job done. They are all aimed at the best care possible for the residents and each other. They do their best to stay on top of maintenance needs and the cleanliness seems to be a top priority. I highly recommend this community respite.

Look at the rest of the negative truthful reviews . I would like to let prospective residents and employees be aware about the inadequate staffing levels it’s a revolving door with new hires, extremely poor quality care, neglect and or mental abuse of residents, unsanitary living conditions, slow response times to resident needs, lack of attention to personal preferences, bland or unvaried food, feelings of isolation, and concerns about high costs for the level of care provided. They have constant call bells ringing and the dining room is always freezing the residents wear blankets to dinner on a/b wing in personal care and down in e wing the residents have no heat in their bathrooms and on the whole side of the building and some of the room heaters don’t work on personal care especially upstairs on a wing. They have a med tech that’s a certified RN whom walks around complaining about not getting valued for her certification and complaining about having to do resident care since she’s a Registered nurse but thing is she’s not a registered nurse at that facility she’s a med tech and she’s required to do resident care and she doesn’t and she doesn’t get in trouble for not doing it cause she’s a supervisor!! Talk with the residents in person care a b wing they will let you know loud and clear about the lack of care they receive!!!! With employees who are med techs and have no disclosed they are on medical marijuana and smell like it through the building!!!! Not to mention some of the employees reek of alcohol!!! Even one employee wears pot leaf printed scrubs when there are no managers around on the weekends !!! NOT TO MENTION THAT THE GOOD 5⭐️reviews are all from staff members who work there and are asked by the manager to give a positive review on the facility not even on their own choice and they lie and say they have family members who are residents [language removed] none of the employees have family members who are residents in the facility!!! Look at the profiles that leave good reviews lol they all have only 1 review and it’s on this facility because they’re fake accounts!!! Please take this serious and don’t let your family members be subject to this type of negligence and magnolia is a sister facility and I will admit I never been inside there but I can only assume since it’s the same owners that it is just as bad of care and not safe for your elderly family! And trust me I’m sure they will respond and will respond back to this like how they did to Terri Lynn . . . “ Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all reviews seriously, even those from former employees. While we respect your perspective, we feel it is important to clarify that your employment ended due to specific actions that did not align with our company's values and policies. We strive to maintain a positive and respectful workplace for all team members and take necessary steps to ensure this standard is upheld “ but that’s not at all why I was terminated I was just speaking up about working conditions and employees are not treated like they even matter and since I stirred the pot and called them out they couldn’t handle it and were looking for a reason to fire me and came up with a pathetic excuse for letting me go.And I got punched in the face whilst working there and had my glasses broken by a resident and no I wasn’t hurt but no one even asked they were short staffed and didn’t want me to leave before my shift was over to go get checked out at the hospital but I did fill out a incident report and worker’s compensation form and let me be clear I don’t have employee provided insurance and they told me that they will only cover 50% of my glasses and that’s [language removed] 100% of my glasses were broke at the facility whilst I was on the clock working by a resident who lives there! So they should take responsibility for my glasses being broken, and have to mention that said RN offered to give me a residents medication for pain since I was hit in the face and another employee witnessed her offering it to me and I said no I didn’t want to be part of that!

Iv had a great experience here from the tour they first ever gave me, leading to the years my loved one has spent here. We have never had no issues and absolutely love all the staff. We’ve always received the best care and treatment being here! Very clean and beautiful place to be with great staff and management whom treat the residents with the utmost respect and high quality care. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a good place to take your loved ones.

I've been to multiple care facilities for many members of my family. THIS one definitely provided the best care for my Uncle. He loved all the staff! Beautiful facility! Caring, attentive and very trained and knowledgeable staff! Coming from an assisted living background, my family and I knew exactly what we wanted when the time came to place my aunt. After touring many facilities, The Seasons of Saxonburg checked off all our many boxes of must haves and they did not disappoint! Living close by, different family members stopped by often at different days and times and always, always was my aunt happy and well taken care of. Staff was always very supportive and helpful with any questions and/or concerns we may have had. Administration was readily available and deeply invested and involved! The facility is beautiful, very home-like and clean! Highly recommend!

My father in law walked into the memory care on his own on Dec 2, 2022, with advanced dementia. Being in an unfamiliar place, he'd get loud, but was never combative. For staff safety, he was medicated, then meds got doubled. He declined rapidly. Xmas eve, he fell in middle of night, and broke a hip. Post surgery, he went in their skilled nursing unit, and quickly got bed sores. Soon after that, he tested positive for covid, and isolated. The only way he was able to go back to memory care was to put him under hospice care. They were wonderful. Then that unit had a covidcase, and we weren't able to visit...even though he wasn't going to get it again, and he was bed ridden. Hospice called us to tell us he was dying, and we were allowed to be with him. He lived there for 3 months, passing on Feb 28th.....the administrator,Delisa never spoke to us, offered condolences, or sent a card. The check we gave them for March was sent back to us voided and anonamously. This was very cold hearted...management needs to do better.
September 2020
Has poor management. An administrator that has no clue what's going on at any given time. The workers are ignorant and the place is dirty. There are multiple falls due to the workers not paying attention to their fall risk patients. It's one of the lowest paying facilities. The workers claim to wear masks but post pictures on social media inside the facility not wearing them.
