Reviews The Seasons of Saxonburg
March 2025
Look at the rest of the negative truthful reviews . I would like to let prospective residents and employees be aware about the inadequate staffing levels it’s a revolving door with new hires, extremely poor quality care, neglect and or mental abuse of residents, unsanitary living conditions, slow response times to resident needs, lack of attention to personal preferences, bland or unvaried food, feelings of isolation, and concerns about high costs for the level of care provided. They have constant call bells ringing and the dining room is always freezing the residents wear blankets to dinner on a/b wing in personal care and down in e wing the residents have no heat in their bathrooms and on the whole side of the building and some of the room heaters don’t work on personal care especially upstairs on a wing. They have a med tech that’s a certified RN whom walks around complaining about not getting valued for her certification and complaining about having to do resident care since she’s a Registered nurse but thing is she’s not a registered nurse at that facility she’s a med tech and she’s required to do resident care and she doesn’t and she doesn’t get in trouble for not doing it cause she’s a supervisor!! Talk with the residents in person care a b wing they will let you know loud and clear about the lack of care they receive!!!! With employees who are med techs and have no disclosed they are on medical marijuana and smell like it through the building!!!! Not to mention some of the employees reek of alcohol!!! Even one employee wears pot leaf printed scrubs when there are no managers around on the weekends !!! NOT TO MENTION THAT THE GOOD 5⭐️reviews are all from staff members who work there and are asked by the manager to give a positive review on the facility not even on their own choice and they lie and say they have family members who are residents [language removed] none of the employees have family members who are residents in the facility!!! Look at the profiles that leave good reviews lol they all have only 1 review and it’s on this facility because they’re fake accounts!!! Please take this serious and don’t let your family members be subject to this type of negligence and magnolia is a sister facility and I will admit I never been inside there but I can only assume since it’s the same owners that it is just as bad of care and not safe for your elderly family! And trust me I’m sure they will respond and will respond back to this like how they did to Terri Lynn . . . “ Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all reviews seriously, even those from former employees. While we respect your perspective, we feel it is important to clarify that your employment ended due to specific actions that did not align with our company's values and policies. We strive to maintain a positive and respectful workplace for all team members and take necessary steps to ensure this standard is upheld “ but that’s not at all why I was terminated I was just speaking up about working conditions and employees are not treated like they even matter and since I stirred the pot and called them out they couldn’t handle it and were looking for a reason to fire me and came up with a pathetic excuse for letting me go.And I got punched in the face whilst working there and had my glasses broken by a resident and no I wasn’t hurt but no one even asked they were short staffed and didn’t want me to leave before my shift was over to go get checked out at the hospital but I did fill out a incident report and worker’s compensation form and let me be clear I don’t have employee provided insurance and they told me that they will only cover 50% of my glasses and that’s [language removed] 100% of my glasses were broke at the facility whilst I was on the clock working by a resident who lives there! So they should take responsibility for my glasses being broken, and have to mention that said RN offered to give me a residents medication for pain since I was hit in the face and another employee witnessed her offering it to me and I said no I didn’t want to be part of that!

My husband is in Memory Care and is being cared for with helping hands by all employees. I can not be there every day and feel he is safe in their care. He has his own room and bathroom and he is very comfortable in the surroundingsl.

I am indebted to 90% of the people that work or have worked at The Seasons of Saxonburg. Mom will be 92 soon, and is still the same as in her younger years. She likes to be in control. The staff has been very helpful and able to deal with her. They clean her room every day. They help her if she needs it. Any time I call to check on her, they have been very helpful. It was hard to make the decision that it was time for her to be placed. I searched everywhere and Seasons was the best choice for her needs, and the cost was helpful. I visit her often to check on her. Take her out for lunch or shopping and to visit with family. We visit her as a family for her birthday, Christmas, Halloween. There is always something going on at Season's. No matter where you choose to place a loved one, You cannot put them there, never visit, and expect that all is well. Do your part. They need you to still be a part of their life.
