My childhood best friend of 50 years in here. This was the best decision for him and we could not be happier with that choice. My friend has a TBI that causes seizures and he unfortunately had one of those recently. The staff handled the situation professionally, kindly, and with so much grace. This place feels like home. It’s clean, warm, and has plenty of activities and even great food. His room is amazing as well. He has a huge room with his own space and his own bathroom and a sink, refrigerator, freezer combo and a microwave. His room also can control the heat and air in his room so he is always comfortable. He’s thriving here. He’s made friends with the staff and other residents and has said himself how happy he is. His happiness is all the matters to me and I could not be happier about the choice to move him here. He’s a smoker and there is a smoking section outside and he’s close to stores and food and has gained independence. This place is amazing. Thank you for caring for my best buddy.

Pacific Grove deserves a 10/10 We recently moved our friend into Pacific Grove, senior living, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The community is warm, welcoming, and truly feels like home. The residents are friendly, the staff is attentive, and the food is genuinely great not something you could say about every senior living community. The nurses deserve special recognition. They are hands-down, the best we’ve ever met, compassionate, skilled, and consistently going above and beyond to make sure our friend is comfortable and cared for . Our friend has his own apartment, which gives him independence while still having support when he needs it. Housekeeping comes once a week, they handle his laundry, and they managed his medication with professionalism and kindness. It’s such a relief knowing he’s in a place where people truly care. We’re grateful to have found Pacific Grove. It’s everything we hope for and more. I wish I could give a shout out to every staff thats there. Here are a few as we are still l learning names. Jenn B, Maria V, Lisa D, Jennifer M, and Skip H. These are just a few names that deserve an extra shout out. Everyone is so kind, so wonderful, and a real treat to be around. I know our friend is in the perfect place and safe and cared for. Do not miss this gem of a community if you are searching for a facility. It truly is a one-of- a kind place and you will not be disappointed. I plan on keeping our friend here forever.

The new management at Pacific Grove Senior Living has significantly improved the quality of care and variety of services. They have introduced personalized care plans and enhanced staff training programs, creating a more skilled and compassionate caregiving team. Wouldn’t go anywhere else! The young man Nehemiah, boy oh boy. Handsome as ever and his eyes are so friendly. He was attentive, empathetic, polite, knowledgeable, and advocate for all my questions. My parent is going to be happy there! Great hands on deck, but this young man should be upper management quickly. If they don’t do it, I’ll go straight to the top for him.

Nehemiah Creel is a real asset and goes above and beyond with personal visits singing happy birthday on a ukulele. I'm thinking moving my grandmother here is going to be awesome for her now that she is going to need to be in a more skilled memory care facility.

Have heard great things and the staff were very helpful when I was searching for a place for my friends father. They have been extremely kind to him even when he is being difficult. They understand dementia and Alzheimer's more then most...thank you from me and my friends family.

The staff can't make it to work on time so how can we trust them with the elderly. Not being able or responsible to follow a work schedule makes me wonder what is being forgotten, overlooked, or just plain ignored while the workers are on duty. This part comes almost a month after my first review and nothing has changed, it may have even gotten worse since management doesn't seem to care about reprimanding employees for their behavior towards attendance.

When my father first went to live at the Garden and the Grove in Nov 2019 it was great. They had group trips and activities and had lots of fun. Now they have a small television in the main room and a bunch of residents left to sleep. Getting ahold of my father is near impossible. They go nowhere and my dad's Dementia is so much worse. I worry for his safety but we don't have many options because he only has SS and Medicare. So sad

This place is a very charming little place. Maybe a little dated, but still charming. Like me! The staff seem to genuinely care about the residents, which is what really matters.
