Fulmers is a very caring Assisted Living Home. If I wrote everything positive I’d run out of room. I had my first experience with Fulmers 20 years ago with my Mom who had MS. Some of the same staff are still there and that says a LOT! We had our second experience with my Mother In-law in 2024-2025 and I can’t say enough about our positive experience again. The Fulmer family truly offer this much needed help in caring for loved ones as a ministry, it’s not just a business for them. I believe they offer the most affordable out of pocket assisted living available, which made it possible to privately pay. We originally planned on a day by day, but that turned into a long term temporary stay that ended up because of her continued decline medically to staying permanently, until she needed nursing home care for medical reasons. Jeff Fulmer and all his caring staff always went out of their way to help us and my Mother in-law in whatever way was needed to give her the best care possible. I always say there’s nothing perfect except being healthy, caring for yourself and living at home but when that’s no longer possible Fulmers is where I’d choose again for another family member if the need arises.

Deciding with or for a loved one to move into a personal care facility may be one of the most difficult decisions you make in life. I would like to share from personal experience with my mom that Fulmer's Personal Care Facility is truly exceptional! The biggest take-away is the family-like atmosphere, which is truly heartwarming. You can tell they genuinely care about their residents, and we felt (and very much still feel) like an extended part of their family. The nurses are adept at identifying when residents are in distress, even if they are unable to communicate it verbally. They are incredibly knowledgeable, and the entire staff supports one another, pitching in on any job that needs to be done. In addition, the in-take process was quick and smooth, making the admission stress-free. The phones were always answered promptly any time of day that I called to check in. The office staff is fantastic at keeping things organized, making appointments and making sure the family is well-informed. The facility owners are flexible in allowing residents to decorate their rooms, making it feel more like home, and they are the ones who set the stage for operating a respectable, loving and caring facility. Fulmer's is a shining example of what a personal care facility should be!

Fulmers was a home for my brother for several years. Everyone treated him with kindness and demonstrated genuine concern for his well being. They were available at anytime to address questions we would have. Every time we would ask my brother about the food he would respond, "great!". My Aunt needed some personal care and we heard of Fulmer’s. Checked it out and it was affordable! Took a Tour and the rooms are great, there are places they can sit to watch TV, and make friends outside of their own rooms. Great meals and can even go outside whenever they want to. They have activities for the residents. We celebrated my Aunt’s 88th birthday there , We met some awesome Friends and Residents. Everyone was like Family to my Aunt and of course us! Some very talented residents, they love company too, and of course they have awesome stories to tell!! Highly Recommend

My uncle resided here for over 10 years. He called this place home. The staff went above and beyond to care for him and treat him like family. Jeff Fulmer is a very kind, caring, and compassionate administrator. He was very hands on. You could always get in contact with him and he could be seen in the hallway of the facility on a daily basis. They provided my uncle with good meals, transportation to his appointments, emotional support, a wide range of activities, and a very nurturing environment. All his needs were met. It is a very clean, bright, and friendly home. A personal care home may be the last place you want to admit your loved one too but sometimes it is your only option. This place is top notch and I highly recommend it!

Putting my father in an assisted living facility was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. I was so fortunate that through word of mouth alone we discovered Fulmer’s. On our initial walk through one of the most striking things we noticed was how many residents were smiling as we toured the facility. There was an overall sense of happiness from both residents and staff. This was so unlike the several places we checked out previously. They also have many long tenured staff who I came to know well and can positively attest to just how extremely helpful they are. They would time and time again go above and beyond to maintain the needs of my father. This all told put my mind at ease just knowing that he was getting the best care. I cannot thank them enough.

The owners and staff were tremendous in helping to transition my father-in-law from an out-of-state assisted living facility back to PA. When it came time for him to transition to more skilled care we received the same exceptional service. Communication was always open, honest and phenomenal, very cost effective for all of the inclusive services received, especially with my father-in-law having limited income. My father-in-law raved about how wonderful the home cooked meals were. Our family would highly recommend Fulmer’s to anyone who is having difficulty making that step to place a loved one from their home into assisted living. This is my story of how Fulmer's Personal Care Home came to my rescue more than once. In Feb 2023 I had knee surgery and my Dr ordered equipment for my recovery. And when I thought I was all recovered I donated all the items to Fulmer's. And they were super thankful and could not of been more accommodating, easy drop off. 2 week later I fell and had to have another knee surgery. So at this point i had given everything away that i would need to heal from my next surgery. So I called Fulmer's and that same day i had all of my equipment back and they also loaned me a wheel chair. And that came in more handy than I could ever imagine. And I spoke to several different people there in the 6 months i had the equipment and everyone was great and always asked how i was coming along. I cant thank them enough for all they did for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH FULMER"S

Fulmer's Personal Care Home treated my dad like family. The care they provided him gave me a piece of mind being 2 hours away from him knowing he was being taken care of daily and they kept me informed of everything that was important for his health and well being. My dad made many friends while staying at Fulmer's and he loved being able to sit on their nice patio on nice days with the view of the mountains and being able to watch the airplanes fly by from the nearby airport. The staff was always so helpful to my dad and also to me while visiting.
