I had a fall in August 2024. I spent 4 days in ICU in Meridian. I chose Marquis Rehab based on 5 stars and going to the community center. I was confined for 2 weeks. The bed was too short and I developed leg cramps that never went away until 2 weeks after being released. The bed was extended on the 3rd day but too late. I was in agony pain from any position. ice packs did not help. The food was always lukewarm and a surprise each meal. I was given a menu for each meal I usually was given something else. One morning my banana was ready for making banana bread. Physical therapy was always a joke to me. I have talked to residences that really like it there. It will not be on my wish list when I need to find a facility.

Aiyah is a phenomenal employee. I really see the value in her, she showed us the best cottage onsite and she helped us navigate tough times looking for care with our family with all the stress I'm sure you can imagine comes when looking for care team for your family. She makes me believe in assisted care, with the amenities offered and care team. The location is beautiful

My Mom lives here and we're very happy. The building is nice and is kept clean. Most importantly, the people who work here are kind and energetic. They look after the residents and keep the residents engaged with bingo, puzzles, movies, auctions, store outings, etc. We're grateful.

My mother has been at the Marquis for a few years and I just wanted to get on to let folks know how happy we are with the care she receives there. She turned 100 years old in October! I believe that Marquis Tualatin Assisted Living should get some credit for that. All of the caregivers have been wonderful through the years. Our family has developed good relationships with the staff and they actually feel like an extended family. Simply put, my mom is surrounded by love. They don't just take care of Mom they take care of her with love. The caregivers are there for all the right reasons and I believe only very special people can do what they do.Also, the precautions that were followed through the pandemic were amazing. Director, Kylie, sailed the ship through the stormy waters with grace and determination. During the shut down the Marquis made all kind of creative arrangements for us to be able to communicate with our loved ones. We started using zoom every night with Mom. Her family and friends get on with her and the caregivers take the time every evening to set the zoom up so we all see her daily. Even though we can visit now...we still keep up the family zoom get-togethers. Mom's kids enjoy seeing each other as well! We appreciate the folks at the Marquis for creating such a beautiful last chapter of our mother's life. Thank you all!! Mia

A caring and committed staff. I was where I needed to be for the 25 days I was there after just having major back surgery. Thank you, Kelly Burns, for coordinating my care and always being there with a smile. To the special nurses and CNA,s (you know who you are), a big shout out to you for your patience and going out of your way to make me feel better. Can't leave out the cooks and housekeeping services. Your all around commitment to patient care is evident Marquis.

Staff knew my mother had a balance issue. They let her fall breaking her foot in 3 places, broken rib, two large hematoma and severe bruising on upper arms from ground zero dumped in her wheel chair. They didn't use OSHA required gate belt. Also UTI and dehydration at the ER Meridian Legacy hospital. The Marquee Tulatian call me 3 different times stating no breaks no issues. THEY LIED 3 different times. She was admitted to the hospital and remaining for one month and and was in fear of returning to Marquee Tulatian. The Dr on staff was incompetent. Some of the nursing staff berated her and rumored her as a princess faking. I have photos of her arms and legs which was caused by Marquee Tulatian Assisted Living

I recently moved my mother into Marquis Tualatin Assisted Living, and she is extremely happy with her new living arrangement. She enjoys the staff, the other residents, and many of the activities they offer. She is happy to go on outings with the residents to do a little shopping and pick up some things she needs. They did an excellent job of helping us set up new Doctors for her as well. Sure, there are nitpicking things that arent perfect, but I am confident that she is well taken care of.

Great staff. CNAs are personable and care for residents beyond meeting their medical needs. Good program of activities. Not five stars because I think the menu could use improvement in some categories but overall food is better than a couple other facilities Ive eaten at with residents

My mother was admitted after a surgery and needed wound care and physical therapy. Unfortunately arrived Christmas Eve. Drab room, dirty bedspread, broken wheelchair and the most miserable Christmas Eve dessert imaginable. It was so hard to leave her that night. Of course during the holiday normal rehab is on hold so just lying in bed or sitting for two days did not give us the progress wished for. When we did meet administration it was right after she had been served the worst meal of her life. A white plate with uncooked white rice, white soggy pot stickers and two plain meatballs. And cold. Asked for soy sauce and the little kitchen in Rehab didnt provide so I went upstairs to the main dining room for assisted living to retrieve several packets which I was happy to share with another resident.I took a picture and showed it to administration and the response back to me was This isnt the Hilton. From that comment it was my decision to help with her meals and not mention again in case my moms care would be effected by my complaints. Without a kitchen for rehab the food comes cold to the rooms or hallway bistros. Staff has learned to microwave first but in my moms case the salad on the plate was heated too and uneatable. She struggled through every meal and when lab reports were taken a week into her care we got a call she needed to be rushed to emergency because her sodium count was so low The only reason The Marquis is receiving even a 3 star is the loving, efficient care of the staff. Excellent care even over the holidays. It is their terrible food service I wish they would address if not for the residents than to those hard working individuals providing and serving what should be a highlight in the residents day.The only way I can recommend the Tualatin Marquis is to order meal delivery from local restaurants. I dont know how it passes state standards when it arrives cold in rooms and residents have to ask to have it reheated.

I spent nearly 3 weeks at the Marquis skilled nursing facility after being admitted to Meridian Park Hospital for the treatment of two broken ribs and hey balance problem. After eight days in hospital I was just charged to the Marquis skilled nursing facility. The patient care staff at Marquis is very good. Having had gastric bypass surgery several years ago, my stomach has's capacity of 4 ounces requiring special preparation of food that my tiny stomach could handle without plugging it up and/or causing projectile emesis. The dietitian and the chef were most accommodating in view that many of my teeth have broken off at the gum line making it very difficult to Chew food. Then nursing staff, physical therapists, occupational therapists provided excellent care. I was discharged eight October to home. Having been a Navy hospital Corman and later hey respiratory therapist I have worked many years in various hospitals so that I can say that this facility it Is extraordinary. The building and the rooms are bright and clean. My wee dog was allowedt to come and visit along with one of my neighbors
