My husband and I had to find a facility for his sister who has memory problems. We have been very satisfied with Florence Place services. The transition from living alone at home to her new environment was much smoother than I expected. She protested the move before moving in but now she seems to like that she has people to talk to and a relatively busy schedule. At one point she couldn't remember how to write her name. Last week she wrote her name with no problem. She has a friend (female) that she seems to have bonded with. So we are pleased with the choice we made.

My Mother has adjusted well to her environment, she has Dementia. The Staff of Florence Place treat everyone especially their Residents like one BIG HAPPY Family. I highly recommend it when looking for Assisted Living Facilities.

This facility surprised me. It was a very nice home. Talked to lots of residences and staff. All were happy and enjoyed living or working there. This home is a little cheaper than mb estates. They also use elderlife financial. Its going to be hard to make a decision.

We liked the fact that everyone had their own apartment. The staff was caring and interested in the residents-so many activities. I liked the Christian/spiritual opportunities. I was concerned about the stairs.
