Summer House is always so welcoming. As a member of two groups that meet at Summer House, we are made to feel at home. The workers are so helpful and do such a wonderful job. It is always clean and the food is good. We are invited to participate in numerous activities and friends of mine that live there are very happy. Summer House is now my Happy Place. My husband and I decided (on our own) to fund a new home. We are both in our upper 80's and felt it was time to find an assisted living home while we could still enjoy the living ease. The staff is fantastic - always something to do if we wanted. The staff is caring, helpfull, fun and willing. The meals are improving and open to suggestions. The living apartments are quiet and with our own furnishings very comfortable. The grounds are well kept which makes the delightful to stroll in nice weather.

It took me a long time to make the decision to move my mom into a memory care facility. Moving her to Summer House Park Provence was the absolute best choice for her care. My mom is happy, and she loves it. The staff is caring and responsive to her needs. The nursing team is very attentive. Someone always has a funny and cute story to share. I visit her throughout the week at any time of the day. No matter the time, she is doing well. The facility is clean as well as her apartment. They contact me if there is a need or concern. I am at peace when I see her smile and know that she is receiving excellent care.

Summerhouse Park Provence is not like any Senior Living Community I have ever seen. It is warm and inviting, and very clean! I have attended several events there, and each one has been so much fun. We moved my parents into Summerhouse Park Provence a month ago and I have been so happy with our choice. From the moment we first stepped foot in the residence lobby, we felt at home. The staff has been so warm and inviting, they truly care about the residents and go above and beyond to make sure everyones needs are met. The meals are delicious and nutritious. Overall, the best part however is my parents can now enjoy this time in their lives while they engage with both new and old friends during the activities, outings, exercise hour, in the dining hall or in the beautiful courtyard. My mother resides here and she really loves it! She gets the best care from the staff. It feels like family! The environment is more like a resort than an assisted living facility and it’s very clean, which my mom especially loves. There are many activities at the facility to participate in making it so enjoyable. And there are a variety of entertainers who come to sing at the Friday socials. We toured SummerHouse on Mardi Gras Day. We were looking for a place to move my father in law to. My husband and I made an appointment with Audrey and I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful Community! They had just had their annual Mardi Gras Ball and the room was still decorated beautifully for it. We toured the entire facility and one area was better than the next! We met residents and staff members. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The entire place was spotless! We met with Audrey for two and a half hours! She answered every question we had and was extremely knowledgeable and a great resource! I would consider moving here if that time would ever come. I would highly recommend SummerHouse to anyone who wants a top knock and caring facility!

Went to SummerHouse Park Provance today for the Holiday Baazar Punch Party! Let me start out by just saying we were a vendor & this is the most well thought out and put together vendor show. The building is beautiful! The staff is amazing and so welcoming. Audrey who put the show on is an absolute sweet heart. My Mom and Dad lived at Park Provence for many years, my Dad for three years and my Mom for eight years. There are not enough words to express my gratitude to the Executive Director and staff for the excellent care that was delivered to my parents during that time. During Covid they went above and beyond to provide services for my Mom during those difficult times when we weren’t able to. Even when my Mom was total care on hospice they took care of her with great love, respect and dignity until her final days. This is a special place with special people.

I moved in several months ago after being on the waitlist for almost a year. My apartment is spacious and I was allowed to decorate it as I wished. I am absolutely astonished that everyone who sees me that works here, knows my by name. The rooms are meticulously kept. Everything is taken care of for me even all of my meals and utilities. Now I am free to do anything I want 24 hours a day and now I have more time to do it all! Maintenance has been wonderful, taking care of things immediately. The staff have responded to all of my needs with kindness and promptness. Although I still drive it’s comforting to know that on a day when I don’t feel like driving, the bus is available at no charge during the week for my errands and group activities. I have spent many evenings with other residents listening to a talented piano player who lives here, guessing sing titles! I’ve been able to reconnect with friends from many years ago here and have made several new friendships. My only regret is that I should have done this sooner!

It took me some time to say this after loosing my mother, but the review represents my strongest opinions. The last thing I said to management, Susan and Audrey along with the staff was that they all were going straight to heaven. Over the years that my mother was a resident at Summer House Park Provence, we shared many experiences and at every turn my mom was always treated with love tender care and respect. The staff all knew her by her nickname Ruru. My mom always had smiles and upbeat friendly relationships with the various staff members who cared for her. Over the years we became close. Everything was about my mom’s happiness, comfort and care. I had come to realize that they loved her and were invested in her daily joy. When she had challenges as she advanced into late years, they ran towards them and performed their duties and made her smile. What was evident is that they truly cared. I will remain grateful to the leadership who so carefully chose and guided the staff... who led by example and always made me feel welcomed in the facility. My application is boundless! Thank you Susan and Audrey for the high standards and loving care you inspire and expect and to Tina, the lady who looked after Ruru so closely and lovingly every day, you made us all smile and we shared the love of a great lady up to her last moments on this earth. My beautiful mother was a resident there and she was treated with love, respect and kindness. It was like she was family to them. I don’t know what my family would have done without the wonderful staff there. Summer House Park Provence has so much to offer your loved ones and it is a clean, beautiful place for your loved ones to reside. My mom was taken very good care of and the staff treated her like she was their mother. She passed away in January 2022 and they were there for me and my family through it all. SummerHouse Park Provence was a blessing from the time we first visited with our uncle about moving there. Everyone on the staff went above and beyond to make the move there as easy as possible. The kitchen staff has some of the best cooks around and the housekeeping staff does a wonderful job. The activities director is always coming up with fun ideas. This facility was an absolute Godsend for our uncle. When he became ill they did everything to help him and the family through that difficult time. When he passed they were comforting, compassionate and beyond thoughtful in everything they did to help us through that difficult time. Our sincere wish is that we had moved him there sooner so he could have enjoyed it for a longer period of time before his health declined. Also, I must mention that the residents there had not only become friends to him but to us. Everyone will be missed!!

If I could give ten stars I would! My parents moved here over a year ago due to medical complications my dad has which requires a nurse. Susan, Audrey and their staff couldn’t be any more caring and accommodating in every way. Kyonna at the front desk answering all of our questions and always with a friendly smile, the nursing staff (Emily and Telisha) first class, Tina and her staff caring for all of their needs as necessary, Nina who keeps their place clean, the dining staff treats my parents with the utmost respect - I could go on and on - couldn’t be friendlier. Everyone treats my parents like their parents, like family, with the utmost respect and that gives my sister and I comfort in knowing they are well cared for! My parents have nothing but great things to say about everyone there, and that says a lot! Honestly, we and they haven’t met a single person, not one, that hasn’t been amazing. The food is first class, restaurant style. Activities galore, on-site and offsite should a resident want to participate. An on-site hair salon with the most friendly hair stylist (Terrie). Beautiful courtyard and back yard pond. And so much more. Like an on land senior cruise! Great apartments too. Oh, and the place is very clean at all times. I always joke and say I want to move in! But with all the amenities, it’s the people and leadership that makes this place special. My sister and my daily prayers are that it stays this way always as we have a sense of peace knowing our parents are respected and cared for. Again, thanks to Susan, Audrey, Tina and their staff (and the nurses who care for my dad), without them not sure this place would be the same!

I have lived here a little over a year. The staff is fantastic. Susan and Audrey do the best job possible. They are always on top of things. The kitchen staff is excellent and the food is great! I am on a sugar free diet and a low carb diet and they serve the best sales, veggies and baked meats. The have the best sugar free desserts ever! The service is always great. The cleaning staff and the nursing staff do a great job too. I do not have one complaint. I love the new sidewalk around the pond and they do a great job keeping up the grounds. I plan to live her until I die. I am so spoiled by Everyone.

When it was nearing time to find a place for my father after my mother passed away, I researched and toured everything in the area. I decided that Summer House Park Provence would be the perfect place for dad, it just seemed it would suit him the best. What sold me on Park Provence was that it felt like individual homes, not an institution or a cookie cutter corporate facility. I loved that they had so many different floor plans and allowed me to tour individuals apartments. I also spoke with the residents and they were all happy and had great things to say. The staff is so friendly and engaging and they encourage participation in their many social events. I can't say enough good things about their awesome, kind and attentive staff. I convinced my father to move down from Virginia about 1.5 years ago and it was the right decision for our family. My dad is happy and has become much more social! My sister and I are thrilled to see him so happy.
