We cannot rave enough about Sodalis Senior Living in Texas City! We recently re- located my Father to Sodalis, and from the moment we met Michelle Lasseter the Health and Wellness Director, our experience has been simply outstanding! Michelle and her team helped our family ensure a seamless move from across the state for my Dad! The accommodations are beautiful and my Dad's new apartment is gorgeous! The quality of care is simply amazing as they treat their Residents with great care and respect. The high communication from Kristi Schuler the Executive Director at Sodalis to the families of their Residents is truly outstanding! We are so grateful and thankful for everyone who works at Sodalis to make this such a special place, the nurses, med techs, chefs and also the wonderful women who work at the reception desk - thank you all for making this season in life so special for my Dad, we are so thankful for the Sodalis Community! It's truly a beautiful place. Sending my mother there was a great decision—I haven't seen her this happy in a while. Michelle and the staff are going above and beyond to assist all the residents and families. The care staff is always very helpful. I absolutely love Sodalis!

The Sodalis staff is awesome! I dropped in to introduce myself, and SYNERGY HomeCare, as the new in-home care providers in town and to find out if there was an opportunity for us to sponsor an upcoming event. The nice lady at the front introduced me to Kizzy, the director. Kizzy was nice and welcoming, she invited me to the Easter Egg Hunt on the 29th at 3pm. We provided eggs and candy and looking forward to helping out with this and future events at Sodalis! The facility is really nice and clean. The staff is amazing!

I would give the dream team at Sodalis Texas City 10 stars if I had the option. They have exceeded my expectations in every area from the leadership, caregivers, medical professionals, activity director and phenom chefs. I am very happy to know my mother is safe and well cared for. She's realized a 180 degree turn around by becoming active and participating with the group activities. Sodalis has made my mother's transition a seamless process!

My mom has been in sodalis for 2 years. She is very happy there. Lots to do. She loves the staff. They are very helpful and treat her like family. I personally am thankful for the staff. The ed is very involved and works her backside off. The nurse is caring and involved also. None of the head staff sit in an office all day like a lot of other facilities. The activity director is wonderful. She keeps the residence busy and having fun. All in all I am very glad sodalis is what my mom can call home. Sodalis Tx City just hosted the most amazzzing resident/ family/ community celebration and we were honored to help co host! The staff was sooo helpful and attentive and the ED went absolutely above and beyond to make sure the event was a success! It's very evident how much they love their residents and their families! The residents loooved the event!!!

This place is awesome. Kizzy, Ms. Fleming & the RN Michelle make this place a welcoming safe environment. They care about the family and help explain the difficulties of transition. All available for any calls.

There are so many things to list why I gave this Assisted Living Community 5 stars. First, I have always said that in any business it starts from the top. The new administrator is amazing. She has worked there for many years and recently was promoted to being the new Executive Director of the facility. She knows every resident individually and treats everyone of them like her own family. She throws amazing events for the facility and even goes out to eat with the residents on an outing once a month! The atmosphere is upbeat and everyone looks happy ( staff and residents). The activities are amazing. The activities are the center of what goes on every day for the residents and there is always a large turnout. The smell of the building is amazing and always clean. The apartments are really nice with a variety of selections. I would highly recommend this facility to any person that is seeking this type of living environment. If you go by there say hi to Janice. She has worked there for 14 years and will give you the best tour ever!!!

Sodalis has always been a nice, friendly place. Love the staff. A couple of months back, there was very little activities by the activities person. However, recently, I am more impressed with the activities. There needs to be more singing, dancing and laughter entertainment. Clients should be more encouraged to play regular games. Maybe once a month family night. Like you could have a hat party...decorate hats as a family event for their member and give a prize. Also, go out other than Walmart. A ride go Galveston Beach and back...ride the ferry and back.

A note of appreciation and gratitude to the team of dedicated care givers and leaders at Sodalis. My father has been there for almost two years, and he considers it home and we are thankful for all the staff. The staff and leaders are very supportive and wonderful people at their core, and always thinking of the residents and how best to care for them as a group and also meeting their individual needs. The facility has a very positive and caring environment to it. The facility is well cared for and maintained, with top notch quality and services, and this reflects the commitment by leadership and the owners of their focus on the residents and the community. Special recognition to Marcie, Cece, Miss Janice and Kizzy. They all are very special and have large hearts and always there to help. They bring years of care experience to all the residents and have a wealth of knowledge they share to the community. Texas City is blessed to have the team members and leaders of Sodalis!!!

Elmcroft is amazing. The facility is clean and inviting, the activities are designed to keep both the residents and family members engaged and their loving, hard working and professional staff make this place a winner in my book. My mother was at Elmcroft until she recently passed away and I cant say enough good things about the entire staff at Elmcroft. Everyone from senior management, the medical staff, med techs, activity coordinators, front desk receptionists and cleaning crew have a heart of gold and work together as a team to keep Elmcroft up and running around the clock. I am so thankful that my mom spent the remainder of her life at Elmcroft. And I know she is too!

I appreciate everyone's kindness toward our family. Every single staff member I've spoken with - at length or even briefly encountered - has been nothing less than kind-hearted, attentive and accommodating. It's such a relief to leave my Mom there and feel completely comfortable knowing she is not only safe, but cared for on a personal level. I see that same consideration given equally to every resident. My mom is transitioning beautifully thanks to the staff who make it a point to include and encourage her to give all of their activities a try! ??
