3 visits to evaluate and will get my mom moved in next week. All staff have been very helpful . Looks clean well kept. Many activities and great menu - selections . Evaluated 5 other places - this seemed to be best fit and value for my mom.

Our families experience at the legacy has been the best quality possible for my mom. There are always concerns and worries about putting your loved one in a special care facility, but the legacy is like a home and a family who are providing my mother with the most amazing care available. The activities the outings the community is top notch. We are so grateful for the loving environment they have been providing for our mother.

I have been assisting residents with their nursing and therapy needs at this facility for four years. The care and attention they receive by the staff is excellent. I know I can count on the care staff and administrators. I highly recommend this facility for long term assisted living and memory care.

I cannot say enough about what a blessing Legacy at Crystal Falls has been to me and my family. Due to unexpected health circumstances, I moved both my parents in almost three years ago. My mother has since passed, but my father is still a resident. Over these three years they have consistently gone above and beyond to care for both of my parents. The staff has always been loving and supportive of both them and me. There are abundant activities and they do a good job of getting resident participation. The staff tries to make Legacy feel like a home to their residents and they do a good job of it! I know when I am not able to be with my dad, that he is well cared for and looked after.

My wife and I have two therapy dogs and have visited many assisted living and memory care facilities in the last three years. We see the interactions between the staff and residents and we talk to many residents. The Legacy at Crystal Falls is one of the best facilities we have ever visited. The facility itself is very clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely involved and dedicated to the residents. They really care! They have loads of activities to keep the residents involved and active. And, the residents are happy.

A smile. It all starts with a smile. We saw the smiles on the faces of the employee's and residents of The Legacy at Crystal Falls from the moment we walked in. It is never an easy decision to put a loved one into assisted living. We had been touring facilities with my 91 year old father in law for a couple of days. He never really said anything about any of the places we looked at until we got to The Legacy. We started out by talking to Niki. Niki is hands down a blessing to The Legacy. You can tell she truly cares about the residents and future residents. We started our tour with my father in law and after just a few minutes into his tour, he was smiling. He leaned over to me and said "I like this place". That is when my wife and I knew we were in the right place. My father in law has been there for a couple of months now. Every time my wife and I go to visit him, he's smiling or walking around and chatting with everyone. He adores the staff and the staff take amazing care of him and chat with him all the time. And they always smile. There are many choices when it comes to assisted living but do yourself a favor and make sure to check out The Legacy at Crystal Falls. Smiles are contagious at that place. You will leave there knowing this is where your loved one belongs.

My mother has lived at The Legacy at Crystal Falls since June of 2016. The caregivers at The Legacy have not only been compassionate, caring and accommodating, but also have my mom engaged in lunch bunch outings, in house entertainment, happy hour, bingo, arts and crafts and many many more activities. I cannot express my full gratitude enough to Amy for keeping me in the loop and helping my mom adjust to her new home. Casita and Nicki have also been a great resource in her care and making my family and I informed in her care plan and allow us to give recommendations which they truly take to heart. One of the best assisted living places in the greater Austin area. We toured what seems like all of them and my mother-in-law stayed there a month. The place is very nice but unfortunately she was not a fit for assisted living ou memory care due to PTSD issues. The staff is incredible and the level of service is hard to beat for an assisted living establishment.

Facilities are nice and well maintained. The food for residents is tasty and presented well. The staff goes above and beyond in caring for the residents. The staff is always open for conversation with family members. Activities for the residents are well thought out and vary from day to day.

Its a beautiful facility and when I moved my mother there a little over a year ago, it was a great place. Then things started changing. The chef that was there (and was great) left. From then on, my mothers dietary restrictions (celiac disease) were no longer paid attention to. My mother started complaining about the food and losing weight. LACF actually contacted me and asked me to buy gluten free groceries for their kitchen. Considering the thousands of dollars we pay per month for her to live there, the financial burden of also supplying them with GF ingredients-groceries is a little crazy. They were fully aware of her dietary restrictions when she moved there and said it would be no problem!... and it wasnt for the first 6 months or so... and then all of a sudden it was a problem, which has caused my mother a lot of GI distress and added doctor bills and prescriptions for her being basically poisoned with gluten. I know the Director recently left and I am hoping the place will be much better run under someone else. When you are paying almost $5000.00 per month, you shouldnt be asked to buy groceries for the kitchen, or charged $7.00 for room service because theyve made the resident sick and weak by giving them allergens theyre not supposed to have. The only 5 star thing about this place is that facility is clean and beautiful and the activities coordinator Sarah is beyond amazing.

The decision to put my mother into an assisted living facility was difficult. The family was providing her care along with a paid part time care giver but it was just becoming to much. Also, the expense of home care was overwhelming, missed work, trips to the doctors office, the paid caregiver and all of her normal expenses. The cost of Legacy is well worth it, rent, utilities, cable and WiFi, laundry, room cleaning, meals, activities, a med-aid to monitor medications, bathing assistance if needed and a staff that is knowledgeable of the needs of the elderly and makes sure she is comfortable. The family can now just enjoy a visit with mom.

My father-in-law has been there since January. He has nothing but good things to say about the people who care for him. He could care less about a title. He'll still give you a raise and a bag of bubble gum. They've been nothing but friendly and helpful to us and him. We are grateful to have found this wonderful place. 🙂

Just moved mom and dad here, I am really excited for them. They have excellent and friendly staff. They make it a point to learn their names right a way and make them feel so welcomed, I really appreciate how they encourage my parents to leave their rooms and participate in activities.
