Things are going good at Paquette Homestead. I think especially the staff have been great. I know they have their hands full and they really handle her well. Overall it has been an absolutely great experience at this facility.

We placed mom in the Paquette house in 2010 because she had dementia and we could no longer give her the daily care that she required. We were happily surprised to see what a nice house and neighborhood she was in. Since we live in Apalachin, a visit was only a few minutes away. At first mom didn't want to have anything to do with living there even though she was incapable of living alone. After several weeks, she began to accept the Paquette house as her home and the people as her friends. She stayed there for 3.5 years, until her death, and often said how well she was treated. It was a relief to us to have the assurance that mom was getting her medications on schedule and eating well. We found Connie Barton easy to get along with and sympathetic to our needs. I would, and do, recommend the Homesteads to anyone seeking assisted living.
