When my father had to be admitted to an assisted living place, my sisters and I were blown away with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff at Cardinal Place. They were able to get my dad admitted the day he was being released from the Hosptial and even set up his room with loaner furniture until we were able to get his personal things moved in. Dad also gets some rent perks for being a veteran; it's great that Cardinal Place honors their servicemen in that way. Having a parent in an assisted living place is not easy, but knowing dad is somewhere the staff truly cares makes it a bit easier.

Dad has been a resident since late April 2019 and it has been great! Dad has a lot of activities to keep him busy and he loves gardening in the courtyard. The staff is great and kind. Thank you, John Stewart

I had a very difficult time deciding how to help my mom believe she could still live independently and know behind the scene I had a strong team helping us. I love these people and this place. My mother is not very social but they each make her feel special. I give thanks for them daily.

Our mom was a resident at Cardinal Place for more than 3 years. The staff was very friendly and caring. In addition, the nursing staff was very attentive and sometimes entertaining with residents. Their expertise was much appreciated. Mom always enjoyed bingo and the live performances, just to name a few. Family events were very special as the sense of community made her feel at home. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been very impressed with the management, staff and care that my Mom is receiving. Her need for assisted living was unexpected but we were pleasantly surprised that a room was available and within a matter of days, she was able to move in. The experience has been wonderful and they have been a big help in her transition to Assisted Living, while she is receiving physical therapy. It is a plus that my Mom knows some of the residents and the ones who are new to her have made her feel at home. Thank you Cardinal Place for making my Mom feel at home.

The staff are caring and do a great job communicating with family members regarding their loved one's condition or health status. There are many fun activities, family events and special guest who come and perform thru out the month. There have been some food issues regarding healthier choices for elderly residents but I believe that is being addressed. Mike, the maintenance man, does a fantastic job at getting pictures hung or furniture moved or put together or any task that needs done, completed. I am pleased to have my Mother in a lovely apartment at this facility.

Cardinal Place is truly the best place to put a loved one who needs some assistance. My mother lived there for 6 years. When I first moved her in, we were debating about selling her house. She didnt want to give up her freedom. She soon realized she still could do everything she wanted and Cardinal Place took care of it all for us. The activities director always has engaging things for the residents to do, and everytime I'd go to see her that's where she was, with her friends laughing. It always smells good, and is clean. The staff are open minded, caring, and are more like family. My mom called it home when we were out, and that was what told me I made the right choice.

I had to put my mother in Cardinal Place last spring and she rapidly regressed. I live in North Carolina so am unable to see my mom very often. From what I have seen and heard from other local visitors she is always cared for, clean, well fed and dressed. She has begun to show signs of dementia and now she requires being what her closer for her safety and the workers there have prevented more falls and injuries. We are very pleased with the care she us receiving from Cardinal place and Hospis. It is easier to deal with our distance apart knowing her Angel's are taking good care of her in our absence.

Everyone in the community was very helpful. Even when I was not going to use them they helped me with the process to go to another place. The landscape and views are excellent. A happy place and I recommend it to anyone looking for assisted living.

The facility is clean and the décor is nice. It has the feel of being a nice apartment building. What really sets Cardinal Place apart is the staff. They treat the residents, family, and guests with care, compassion, and love. My father found a home at Cardinal Place. My family found peace of mind at Cardinal Place. Our only regret is not coming here sooner.
