We work with various Facilities and I can tell you not all facilities are the same. There are similarities but New Hope Manor is one that stands out mostly because of how much they care for their residence. It shows in everything they do and how they go above and beyond for everyone they care for. Not just because it’s their job but it’s in their heart and can’t imagine doing anything less. This starts from the top and their leadership, Susan Hickey, Emily Cook Kelly Zurita and Susan Dickens are the prime example of what a facility leadership should look like. If you have someone you love that needs a place don’t hesitate to go here and see for yourself!

Our experience with NHM has been the sweetest and most comforting journey. When you drive by, you’ll see a smaller building that appears a little older but when you go for a visit, you’ll meet the kindest and most attentive care team! Whether it’s dining, therapy, office, maintenance, activities or nursing & CNAs, every team goes out of their way to care for my mom with incredible respect and professionalism. I’m so very thankful I found this special place!

New Hope is a breathe of fresh air! My mom came here from another local facility where she was neglected and left in bed. Here she is up, working with rehab, interacting with everyone, And I can tell the staff actually know about her likes and dislikes and care about her.

I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the New Hope Manor Staff for taking excellent care of my Grandfather. He has lived in the facility for several months now and I couldn't ask for better response and love. They treat him like their own family member. I keep in close contact with the staff to ensure everything is OK and the communication is EXCELLENT, they even called within 24 hours to make sure of what my expectations are and the goals I want to accomplish while he is there. I believe communication in a nursing home where your loved one is makes for a positive outcome for everyone.

New Hope Manor is a nice facility. My mother was admitted there in a hospice status and the entire staff welcomed us with open arms and showed great compassion. We were fortunate that she came out of hospice status and the NHM team helped us make a smooth transition back to a regular routine. When choosing a facility for your loved one, it's important to keep in mind that no facility is perfect. You are making a decision that will greatly impact the day-to-day well-being and life of your loved one, so finding the right balance takes time and patience with the caregivers at any facility. While I can't say that the NHM team was perfect, I can say over all that they were fully engaged, sincerely cared about my mom's needs, and promptly addressed any situations or issues that we brought to their attention. Thank you, NHM Team.

Working as a nurse, no support from admin. Leave you to sink or swim. Under dangerous staffing. Sinking ship. I loved my residence but no one cared. Fighting against the grain. Oh well mentality. Figure it out yourself. How much bonus can management get vs staff .

My dad has been here for a year. He has dementia and it was getting hard to care for him at home. I did not come to the decision to put him a nursing home easily. I'm so very glad I made the right decision. He has thrived and put on weight. He is well liked and loved there. The proximity to home played a big factor. They helped get him all the help he needed and helped me get through all the paperwork I was not familiar with. True life savors to what I considered a trying time. Level of care is amazing as are the staff and coordinators. Chastity Simmons, thank you for being so patient with me.

We moved Mom to New Hope Thanksgiving week. She was immediately greeted by compassionate professionals who assessed her needs, explained and provided their plan of care. After being there about 4 months now we have seen amazing improvement in mom’s condition. During the COVID pandemic Kay Bargo, the Social Worker, offered to help us Video chat on Facebook with Mom. We were able to see and talk with Mom with Kay’s help. It was great to see Mom smile. Mom loved the food which looked plentiful and nutritious. I thank God for the aides, nurses, dietary staff and administrative team for their kindness and very thoughtful care of my Mom who is the nicest person you could ever know.

This place is amazing! All of the staff is very attentive from the nurses desk (Andrea, Suzy, Marsha etc.) to the floor (Jerry, Austin, the twins, Jo, Patricia etc.) It is clean. The staff is loving and caring. Being in this industry takes a special calling and New Hope Manor has it! This is a family! (corporate we need to keep them all happy, so they stay!)Of course you must have an amazing behind the scenes team to make the floor so outstanding! Lily, Suzanne and Suzanne thank y'all for being so awesome! Don't let me forget to mention the wonderful Activities Dept., those two girls running it are above and beyond fantastic! Almost forgot physical therapy! They rock! Thank all of y'all at New Hope for taking such great care of my mom and always being on top of all of her needs! It truly means the world to me to know I don't have to worry about her and when there is a concern y'all (especially Andrea her hall nurse) are always a step ahead of me!

My father was a resident at New Hope Manor for a little over a year. From day one we felt welcomed and cared for. My dad soon began calling New Hope Manor home. This alone was a huge testament to the level of comfort he felt in such a short time. I’d especially like to recognize, Perla and Maria, two of the most genuine, caring, hard-working, compassionate people I have ever encountered--they are the best of the best! Kay, the social worker, went above and beyond many times for my dad and our family. Lily, the director of nursing, is on top of her staff and is very professional. April, the activities director, is great, loves her job, and loves the residents. My dad always looked sharp--hair, beard, etc.--Lori and the in-house salon is top-notch. The cleaning staff kept the facility looking and smelling great. My dad had no complaints on the food--he loved it and they were always generous with whatever he wanted. Joe and his maintenance staff were always kind and helpful. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience, and would highly recommend New Hope Manor.

Very professional quality facility. Every staff member treated with the utmost respect and care.The doctor was extremely helpful in finding several things that needed direct attention. The head of nursing was extremely helpful with the doctor to explain to me just what i needed. I would not want to get up as being so weak but was encouraged daily to do rehab and get up.i watched as they would treat each person with kindness and love.if i ever have to recommend or go to rehab again it would be New Hope.where they actually care for their clients as family. Thank you to All the wonderful staff..

I moved my mother here about 2 months ago and am very happy with the results. Everything I was told during admissions turned out to be true. Very clean, bright, and well kept place. I would recommend to others, and already have recommended it. My mom is very happy.

My mom has been a resident for the past 8 months. She moved here from a facility outside of Houston, where things were stolen, toilets overflowed, and medicine was given willy-nilly. While New Hope isn't perfect, the staff is responsive and, for the most part, they truly care about the patients.
