My mom is in the Memory Care unit of this facility. Memory Care is very challenging which me and my brother understands. The girls doing an amazing job, taking care of Mom and making sure they communicate with me. The Memory Care representative I believe her name is terika does an amazing job. She does activities with them, she communicates, and has a heart of gold. She doesn’t know the days that we are coming, but when we do, she’s always attentive to mom. Even though my mom is on hospice care , The girls still makes sure she’s taken care of along with the other residents . There has been a positive shift that has happened in Memory Care within the last few weeks. I’m excited for the things to come

My mom has been a resident at TerraBella Thornblade for three years and has been in memory care for the past year. We originally chose the community because of the friendly and caring atmosphere. Like any organization, there have been seasons of change and times when things weren’t at their best, but I have seen tremendous improvement under the current leadership, and I am grateful for the positive changes that have been made. While the memory care caregivers are instrumental in my mom’s daily life and provide exceptional care, what has also touched me is the love and kindness shown to her that extends far beyond the memory care neighborhood. There are so many others throughout the community, including members of the kitchen staff and caregivers who may occasionally work in memory care, who will stop by simply to say hello and check on her. It is evident that she is known as a person, not just a resident, and she is consistently treated with kindness, dignity, and genuine love and respect. There are too many wonderful team members to name, but Anita was a tremendous blessing during my mom’s time in assisted living, and I honestly don’t know what I would do without Terica and Mackenzie. They communicate with me regularly, answer my questions, share happy moments my mom is experiencing, and make me feel connected even when I can’t be there. Those little updates mean more than they probably realize. Just as importantly, they have embraced me as family as well. Throughout this journey, I have felt loved, supported, and genuinely cared for by so many members of the TerraBella team. I also want to recognize Kayla, the Executive Director, whose leadership has brought significant positive change. Her communication with families, openness to feedback, and willingness to continually improve have made a tremendous difference. Ashley, the nurse on staff, has also been invaluable. Her experience in geriatric care and her ability to bridge communication between families and caregivers provide tremendous peace of mind. The community is clean and well maintained, and I have seen a renewed focus on activities and resident engagement. More importantly, I have seen an increased effort to ensure residents are happy, involved, and treated with compassion and respect. The right people have been put in the right seats, and it is evident that residents come first. As a daughter, one of the greatest gifts TerraBella gives me is peace of mind. If I am traveling or unable to visit for a few days, I know my mom is safe, loved, hugged, and cared for. That allows me to continue living the life I am meant to live without constant worry. Memory care is not easy work. It is physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding, and I believe families should recognize and support those who dedicate themselves to caring for our loved ones. That does not mean expectations for care should be lowered. Rather, it means acknowledging the extraordinary work these caregivers do each day. Many of them have truly been angels in my life. For families considering TerraBella Thornblade, I would absolutely recommend them. What sets this community apart is the sense of family and community among the caregivers, leadership, residents, and families. That sense of connection and knowing your loved one is in good hands is something you simply cannot put a price on.

TerraBella Thornblade is a wonderful community that truly cares about its residents. The staff are kind, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to make everyone feel at home. One of the things that stands out most is the activities program. The Activity Director has such a genuine passion for what they do, and it shows in every event, outing, and activity they plan. They work hard to create meaningful experiences that bring residents together, keep them engaged, and most importantly, put smiles on their faces.

The residents at Terra Bella Thornblade have so much fun on their activity days. My daughter absolutely loves to do special things for them. Our local DBE group have been able to do a few small tea parties for the residents. It’s has been so much fun watching her spread joy and love to them all.

2 weeks in . Dad in assisted living. They did not answer his call button and the first 3 days did not give him his insulin and LUED about it as it was checked off as given. Now he smokes. He has to chase them down quite a long way and try to find them for 2 cigarettes at a time. I found out tonight they refuse him sometimes saying he doesn't need to smoke that much. Not their place to withhold what he paid for . He's smoked for 67 years. Give him the dam cigarettes after he has to chase them down! Mom in memory care. Doc took 2 of her depakotes away . They say she doesn't need them. She needs them now more than she did at home! I've seen her put hands on my dad there. My husband went to visit and saw her hit him then too. They have no clue if she needs them or not because they dont often see her and when they do it's for meds and she can mask for people very well. Always has been good at that. 2 weeks to the day of moving there my dad found her on the floor in her room at 7:30 in the morning. She hadn't fell at home in over 2 years and didn't get hurt that time. But here they told my sister she's fine and sent her to er because she had a little pain. Her shoulder was disconnected and now she can't walk to the bedside toilet without help. Meanwhile it's almost 10 thousand a month for them to live here. I'm so beyond upset. I've worked in these places before. I wanted to believe their sales pitch. I still had doubts but my sister had faith. None of us have faith anymore. Going to try to go back to home health care if I can talk my sister into it. By the way, if terra bella is reading this my sister will be contacting you about the newest situation about rationing a grown man's cigarettes that he paid for.

Terra Bella is a lovely assisted living facility. The staff has gone above and beyond to make my friend's stay there comfortable and productive. Management is proactive in making sure that all her needs are met. I am truly grateful to know she is in good hands and that their efforts will be rewarded with her improvement. I have had the pleasure of visiting Terrabella Thornblade several times and this is such a lovely community. Adam and his team are doing an amazing job caring for their seniors. If you are looking for a lovely community for your loved one to call home located at the entrance of Thornblade golf course Terrabella Thornblade is the place to go. They provide excellent care to their seniors.

We found Terra Bella Thornblade to be very professional. We arrived in an emergency, without an appointment, and on a holiday weekend. We also had deep concern for the safety of our loved one in his current situation. We were grateful for Casey and Rita, who arrived to show us this beautiful and friendly community. The atmosphere was light, and the employees really seemed to enjoy their jobs. Laughter and jokes were abounding. We've found since then that you can't go near an employee without receiving a greeting. In fact, it's contagious, most of the folks who live there will also greet you! We were extra grateful when they let us know that their only concern is to take good care of our loved one, not to divide our family as the previous facility attempted to do. There's nothing easy about having a loved one in Memory Care, but sometimes, the alternative is unsafe. We were delighted to learn that our loved one would have his very own shower, (something he hadn't had for four years), a nice "anytime" menu, basic cable and the ability to participate in activities when he's up to it. Our loved one arrived in an alternative state, (due to the shenanigans of his previous facility), and was determined to put all of us under his thumb, with unreasonable and unsafe demands. Atari runs the Memory Care and after a lengthy discussion with me, and a bit of warning of what was to come, came into his room late in the day large and in charge. In an instant, she was in full control. Even after she left, our loved one quit fighting me as I set his room up in a safe way. Above all, he needs stability and he needs for someone to be in charge. Thank you Atari! After moving in, I took him to the doctor, and intended to take him out to eat. His telling response was, "You won't let me go home to eat?" He even loves the food! We're still working through this episode of mental unclarity, but we feel very secure that Terra Bella Thornblade is keeping him safe in the meantime. Parkinson's Disease Dementia is it's own monster, but if you're where we are, our loved one would enjoy more friends with his plight. 😉

Terra Bella is a beautiful and loving community! The business is run very professionally and the administrators, caregivers, medical staff as well as the chef and his team are all so caring and professional. I moved my father from Georgia and I searched all over Greenville for the best assisted living for my sweet daddy! He is my everything and I feel so grateful to have found this gem of a home for him!

Toured Kempton of Greenville yesterday and was blown away. Had a meeting with Kelley and also met Casey who both are their sales/marketing directors. As someone with some experience in the senior living world I was blown away. Both were great about showing me all the different floor plans and answered every question I had. The residents seemed very happy and the lunch they were enjoying looked delicious!! I also was able to meet Jamie their nurse who was also great. If you are looking for a place for your loved one I would strongly recommend taking a look at this building!!

I moved my dad into Oakleaf in the late spring of 2019. As anticipated, his transition from an independent lifestyle, to the assisted living environment was not without its challenges. The first month or two were rough, I won't lie! But, the folks at Oakleaf were so patient with him, and worked with me (sometimes daily) to ease his transition. Now, nearly a year later, he is "the boss" of the place! He loves it here, and feels like he has many friends and that "people here love me!" I am so grateful to the team at Oakleaf for their daily care of my dad!

I recently visited Oak Leaf Village (Greer). Absolutely beautiful community. I was with a friend whose mother is a resident there. When she showed me her apartment, I could see how happy she is living there. Those in charge were very pleasant and helpful when I had questions. I would recommend Oak Leaf Village and definitely give it a five star rating
