This Place Is Huge And Quaint For Senior Citizens Because There Are A Bunch Of Rooms And Large Gathering Rooms In This Building. I Sometimes Like To Walk By This Place And See How Quiet It Is. This Place Reminds Me Of The Luxor In Las Vegas, Nevada Because Of The Floor Layout. If People Are Over 65, I Would Recommend This Place For Them. I Have Gotten A Virtual Tour Of This Place On Google Maps As Well

My mom has been at Oakmont of Chino Hills for a month and she is loving it! We looked at so many and decided this was the best fit for her. Pricilla the Marketing Director is awsome. Helped in all aspects and found the perfect room for her. Pam the Business Director is also awsome and has helped with all the Business related things! Not to mention all the staff! Everyone is super nice! Definitely recommend!

My mom has been a resident of Oakmont Chino hills for over 10 years. It is so hard to feel confident that your loved one is being properly cared for when you're not around. HOWEVER, I trust the staff at Oakmont implicitly (special "kudos" to Delores, Sabrina, Maria, Shavon, Hugo … the list goes on & on). The entire staff is focused on taking incredible care of their residents. I have repeatedly witnessed care staff go above & beyond/outside of her job description to ensure my mom is cared for & safe. Every day I thankful that we chose Oakmont Chino Hills … they are AMAZING –

My mom has been living at Oakmont for 10 months and is doing very well there. What has impressed me the most is the staff. Everyone there knows her name and they go out of their way to make her feel at home and comfortable. I was visiting today and noticed how she lights up when George (her favorite employee) visits her. He was her first "friend" at Oakmont and took her under his wing to make sure that she met people and got involved in some of the numerous activities that are offered. He continues to be the bright spot of her day and still works to keep her engaged. He has a way with seniors that is amazing. He sees them for the people they were as well as the people they are now. When she was sick earlier this year, it was comforting to know that he was always there to cheer her up on a down day. I highly recommend Oakmont for your senior loved one. Be sure to ask for George. He will help them fit right in.

As I reflect back this past year, I can't help but feel at ease about my Mother now residing at Oakmont of Chino Hills. Mom had been living with me for 7 years. At 96, she was still very much independent, but was lacking something I could no longer provide, and that was a level of care befitting for someone who was still independent, but had a few limitations such as cooking, driving, and a need for value. Oakmont provides a level of care that meets her needs. She turned 97 this past May and we were able to secure their banquet room and have a lovely celebration with her family. We can visit whenever we want, enjoy a meal w/her, a movie in their theater and much more. She calls Oakmont her home now, and I am thrilled. Thank you to Priscilla, George, Marlene, Rose, Amber, Shavon, Joseph, Lola, Janeth, and the entire staff of Oakmont of Chino Hills! Edna Silva

My parents recently moved into the Oakmont of Chino Hills and we absolutely love it! The staff are friendly and caring and take great care of mom and dad and actually take time to get to know them! We are so grateful for Priscilla who was more than accommodating as we encountered challenges while making the move, she always responded immediately and solved each issue expeditiously! The activity director, Rose and her staff schedule creative and challenging activities that help my mom use her brain. They organized balloon and chocolate bouquets delivered to their room which was a special treat for them! I have noticed a huge improvement in my parents health since moving and they look so much more relaxed! My siblings and I can rest also knowing they are in good hands. After touring multiple facilities all over Southern California, we have no regrets choosing the Oakmont of Chino Hills as their new home.

A few years ago I needed a safe place to move my mother after she was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. She needed help with many daily tasks like food prep and remembering to take her meds, so full time care was required, BUT she wanted to be independent and not live with us. When we "ran the numbers" we realized that it would cost about the same amount to move her into Oakmont than it would to pay someone in our home to care for her everyday AND, at Oakmont, she would have new friends, great food, entertainment, a movie theater, a pool, etc. She moved in on Jan 3. 2020 just before the pandemic. When lockdown began, her demographic was particularly in danger and Oakmont did an incredible job keeping them safe, healthy, and isolated, but also entertained and active. I cannot say enough how much Oakmont has helped both my mother and my family. I would recommend them to anyone!

My 93 year old mom has been a resident for 8 years at Oakmont of Chino Hills. Our family has been very happy with the care she receives and the welcoming friendly environment that their wonderful staff provides. It is a place that we feel comfortable leaving our dear one. I firmly believe that Oakmont is one of the reasons that we still have Mom with us today.

My wife's mother has been a resident of Oakmont of Chino Hills for eight years now. We researched and toured several facilities and were impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the facilities, from the lobby and restaurant area to the gym, pool, and variety of reading and gathering areas for the residents. The transition from her home to Oakmont was an adjustment for her but the staff and residents made it as seamless as possible. Her needs naturally have grown somewhat over the years and the facility accommodated those changes well. Although staff come and go, the general attitude of the aides and administration are caring and attentive. We were impressed by Oakmont's handling of the Covid crisis as well. The aides were diligent about the demands for sanitation and protecting the residents and their restrictions to staying in their rooms probably saved many lives. My wife and I are very grateful for having Oakmont maintain such a positive and safe life for my mother-in-law in this stage of her life. Sincerely, Melissa and Dana Lamb

We couldn't be more thrilled to have our parents living in Oakmont of Chino Hills. The facility is very clean, their unit is perfect for them, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Everyone we've met has been very helpful, and we've seen the staff's care for the residents dozens of times when they didn't know we were looking. There is absolutely nothing we've asked about that they haven't had a solution for, and go above and beyond expectations to make my parents and my siblings feel welcome and valued. The impression we get is that everyone working there treats residents as if they were their own parents and grandparents, and the impression we get is of one big, happy family. In my experience, attitudes of employees and customers (in this case residents) is a reflection of good leadership and teamwork. We see evidence of the positive attitudes of everyone living and working in Oakmont of Chino Hills every time we visit.

Oakmont of Chino Hills, the leadership team and staff are all outstanding in the service that they provided to my brother for over the last two years. He received the most wonderful service ever during the last two months he was under Hospice Care at the facility. He truly felt loved. I highly recommend this community to others. They are a world class organization!

I had not read prior reviews until after I took the tour , I’m glad I got my tour first. Whatever caused the issue listed in the prior reviews-I’m sure it’s resolved. I stand behind my review: Unbelievable how luxurious this place is for affordable pricing. I admire the fine dining and attention to care and sprawling property with art and elegant furnishings. The rooms are huge and open ,and you can have a pet! Chef cuisine all day, lots of activities even a pool. It’s not my time yet - but it’s the most beautiful place I have ever seen in so Calif of it’s type. Christine was an excellent host and tour guide as she heard out our interest points and she made us feel very cared for. This place is beautifully built and pristine in cleanliness and amenities. Check it out , for a loved one or yourself.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my loved one and I have no complaints of how things had went. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions I had for them in detail. They did a great job with the presentation and made sure to offer us a meal to try during our visit. It was overall a great place just not the right fit for my mother.
