I recently had the pleasure of touring the Grand Victorian of Sycamore and was so impressed. The community is beautiful, but it's the warm, welcoming atmosphere that really stands out. Julyne and the team are clearly dedicated to their residents. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a top-tier senior living community in the area!

Can’t say enough about how wonderful this facility is. EVERYONE there is friendly and welcoming. Staff and residents. My Mom was hesitant to accept we needed to start looking for an assisted living. But when we toured Julyne was so wonderful & caring with my Mom that my Mom decided on her own that it was time for a move. I can’t tell you how this has changed all our lives for the better. I don’t have to worry about my Mom’s safety anymore. We can’t thank Julyne and the entire staff enough! Highly recommend them!

Grand Victorian is a great environment and spacious and it really let's the residents call this place thier home and feel safe and comfortable we have very dedicated cnas here and make sure they are happy good ans safe I highly recommend being here if you want your loved ones cared for its a great place to be at .

Grand Victorian of Sycamore is an awesome place. I have toured it with my mom, I know many residents that live there and Ive been to open houses and special events. The staff is the best. The whole atmosphere is great. I'm even considering moving there at some point myself.

I went on a tour of this facility at a Business After hours event through our local Chamber of Commerce and WOW. Did not expect such a Grand experience! The facility felt like a nice resort, everything was incredibly clean, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Had no clue this gem was right here in our great town of Sycamore! My dad was getting to a point that it was not safe for him to be in his home any longer because of stairs and he was a fall risk. We began talking and I contacted Grand Victorian in January. After a few months of his hesitancy he has finally moved in and we are very happy with the transition. They have helped make him feel welcome, they assisted us with a careful transition and understood his hesitancy, and we are grateful for all the assistance that was given to us. He's only been there a week and he's told me several times this was the right decision he made. I think so too.

The employees of Grand Victorian of Sycamore took wonderful care of my sister while she was there. They were always quick to address any concerns I had. The facility is always clean. There is always a variety of activities for the residents. I cannot say enough about the staff and how caring, patient, and conscientious they are.

While I do not have a family member currently at Grand Victorian I can tell you this facility and staff are second to none. During our tour Julyne Kenney and her staff were so supportive, knowledgeable, and patient with us. More so, the kindness they showed me and family was outstanding.....We are hopeful to move my aunt in soon and I know she will be well taken care of in their hands!!!

We moved my MIL to Grand Victorian under stressful circumstances. Not only did she not want to move to AL, she was losing her daughter to cancer. The staff was so helpful and compassionate. At one point I told my MIL that the Grand Victorian was going to become like family. And they have! They have been so great to work with, so caring to my MIL and so attentive to her and our needs. I cannot recommend them enough! It is truly a wonderful place and has been a bright spot in our lives.

I have been visiting my friend at Grand Victorian every week for years and it is a wonderful facility. It is very clean, the staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. They offer many activities for the residents. They go above and beyond to help the residents with whatever they need. I am so happy my friend is there!

Grand Victorian was so good to my mother in law. She could not be at home any longer because she had dementia and she was unsteady on her feet. She didn't want to leave her home, but we talked her into looking into assisted living facilities. We looked up in Rockford, Belvidere and Cherry Valley and decided on Grand Victorian. Her apartment was fantastic. She was reluctant at first to participate in the daily activities, but the nurses, aides and staff got her out and doing things. She loved the place and we felt like family. I honestly would move in myself but to young. Grand Victorian is a wonderful, caring and family oriented home. Thank you Grand Vic!

The Grand Victorian is an AMAZING community. Every resident is consider a member of our family. They are treated with dignity and respect. The individualized care that each of our residents receive from our staff is impeccable. Our staff recognizes the transition that occurs when a new resident moves in and they go the extra step to ensure a new resident feels comfortable and at ease. I can't say enough great things about the Grand Victorian.

Our mother Marti D moved into the Grand Victorian of Sycamore Il in June of 2022. It was a difficult time as she had lost her husband of 68 yrs the month before. ALL of the staff at the Grand Vic have been amazing!! Their warm understanding compassion has been a great comfort to our family. We will be forever grateful for Mom’s new home and friends. We cannot imagine her being happier any where else🥰

Our mother has lived in her new HOME for the past four months and I simply could NOT be more pleased with the tough decision my mother, six siblings and I made per choosing The Grand Victorian of Sycamore. We thoroughly exhausted our search for the best fit mom naturally deserves and we struck gold. The joyful staff (from administrative to custodial) have proved to remain professionally kind, patient and faithful providers/servants/FAMILY to mom. The facility is GENUINELY GRAND in its design, amenities, staffing and programs...our family has been TRULY BLESSED to have our mother settled into the gentleness the Grand Victorian Family provides.
