I really enjoy working here at Princeton village , the management is outstanding and they really have been working hard to create a good family vibe for the residents and as well as the employees. Coming from my previous employer , it feels like a breath of fresh air!! Alex is doing a great job of turning the place around!!

Princeton Village, Just a quick note of thanks I was visiting my aunt yesterday and I have to say what a wonderful place. I sat with her at lunch in the dining room. All the staff seemed so nice. One in particular, Anabel, was serving drinks and everyone was so happy to see her. So caring and kind. ABSOLUTELY CHARMING. Later the manager, Alex came around to say hi to the table. Incredibly kind also. Talked of everyone as if family. Very rare now days !!! I have to say my aunt and the other residents "lit up" with such personable folks. Well done. Charles

My mom has lived at Princeton Village since June 2023. I researched many assisted living communities in the Portland and surrounding areas, and Princeton Village felt most like home for Mom based on her ADL needs, life enrichment engagement wishes, nursing staff and caregiving needs. They also came through for us, BIG TIME, when Mom lost her housing in Seattle and had 30 days to vacate (from Cogir Northgate). They held an apartment for Mom, and I don't mind sharing that she is a PACE participant with Providence (not a private pay resident). This was just one more vital signal to me that Princeton Villgae had heart and soul--filling space and making money was not the first priority, Mom's needs were--they held space and care for us in our time of hardship. Yes, there have been significant staff changes over the past year, but as a gerontology professional in the field of aging and older adult care, I can tell you this is the current "normal" climate in various housing models for our older adult community members--high turnover across the board. But at Princeton Village, several dedicated professionals (med techs, caregivers, kitchen and dining staff) have weathered the storm of change and have stayed the course. The new marketing director, nurse manager and RCC, facilities director and front reception staff are great folks and it has been neat to see everyone coming together as a team these past several months. These things take time, but the people make the difference. The caring professions can be demanding and require tremendous heart, compassion and dedication. What sets Princeton Village apart from other assisted living communities is it's recent leadership and several dedicated staff (some who have been here for years, some new, some contractors). I have been actively involved in this community from day one of Mom moving in--I've seen the ups and downs and all arounds, but I can honestly say, under the new direction of the executive director, Alex Vice, things are looking up and feeling really good around here. There has been a distinct change in energy for the better, and I have personally witnessed Alex go above and beyond for not just the Princeton Village residents, but for the staff as well. Alex is tuned in, open, accessible, and supportive--he works diligently to ensure everyone is well and has what they need, and every time I come to visit Mom he is buzzing around with a genuine smile and sincerity that you just don't find these days. He does so much for the community and his warmth, energy and passion is contagious. If you're reading this and considering Princeton Village for yourself or for a loved one, I hope you will at least go in for a visit. The new life enrichment director has all kinds of events happening, including family game nights and other inviting activities. Perhaps you could join in?

In my two years at Princeton Village I have worked with several site managers. Each with different styles and beliefs. Alex has a very good hand on attitude towards the Village. He takes the time to know the residents and treats them personally with dignity As a dietary specialist I hear compliments and positive remarks from our resident friends. They appreciate it. We all see it. My professional relationship is quite good. There is an open door philosophy that I appreciate very much. I love working with someone who is upbeat vet drives toward a well run professional organization It's good to have management that listen and cares.

My dad has been living at Princeton Village for the last 6 weeks and it has gone great! When we first visited the property, we were pleasantly surprised how nice and clean the building was. The common areas are meticulously maintained and the place had zero odor (not like others we visited). This is an important aspect to our family to make sure dad is comfortable and feels at home. He is also getting the assistance he needs getting meds, bathing and housekeeping. We know as his needs change, we can request more help and it is available to him. The food has been wonderful and he is happy to be making new friends. I highly recommend Princeton Village.

From the first moment I contacted Princeton Village on the phone and every moment since then, I have been so impressed and pleased that my mom has the opportunity to call this beautiful place "home." Every staff member from the office, kitchen staff, housekeeping to the care providers, show concern and compassion to the residents and their families. I look forward to visiting my mom every time and feel confident that when I leave she is in excellent hands. My mom looks forward to the start of her day and all the great people that she encounters from staff to her new friends that live around her. It is so comforting to know she has a great group of people who go above and beyond for her every single day. I can't say enough good things about every aspect of Princeton Village. They provide detailed care from maintaining cleanliness, safety checks, medicine maintenance, physical care, nursing care, nutrition and a friendly atmosphere. I am grateful everyday for discovering such a place exists for my mom to have such a great quality of life and place to call home. Thanks so much to the entire staff and especially to Carol. She went to bat for my mom and improved the quality of my mom's life. I am in her debt and can't say thank you enough for what she has done for my family.

This Assisted Living Facility is truly 5-STAR all around! My mother has been living here for a month now and could not be more thrilled. The staff is diligent, detailed, friendly, caring, professional, and VERY dedicated. The marketing and management departments assisted with/made the move and transition so smooth and efficient. Positive shoutouts to Carol, Patty, Dawn, Breanna, Ari, Jasmine, Janine, Abigail, Angie, Deb, and the rest of the staff. There are frequent (and fun) activities and abundant meals provided. Not to mention, the location is safe and convenient, and the monthly cost is more than reasonable. This establishment truly feels like home. Thank you so much for making my mother and I's lives easier and more fruitful!

Due to massive personnel changes, my Mom's present "service plan" got thrown upside down, which affected whether my Mom would continue to receive certain services she already had currently. Dawn Sparks coming in as the new ED was very instrumental in fixing the situation, and becoming an immediate advocate for myself & my Mom. She listened to my concerns & together we implemented a plan to take care of things quickly, along with Patty the RCC. I so appreciate Dawn and her health care team helping us fix this situation. Princeton is a great place to live, and my Mom loves her spacious room & wonderful sweet staff that love her like their own family. I did lots of research when looking for a place for my Mom to live back in 2016, and hands down, this place rose to the top. When my mom was relocating here, they even gave me a little extra time to set up her room with furniture, so it would be ready to go when my Mom got here. Awesome group!

Our mom is currently a resident there. I am personally grateful for the attention and level of care she receives. Every care center is currently operating under the most difficult of circumstances this season. My mothers caregivers, Shell, the handyman, Doug, the administrator, Maki, his assistant, the bookkeepers, receptionist.... ALL the rest of the staff are positive, amazing people... Thank you!

I love Princeton Village because it is not a large place, small and homey. We have nice spacious rooms and I overlook the parking lot so I can see the employees coming and going. Lots of activity, we have good bus services. Our Activity Director takes us out to lunch, shopping and scenic drives. Staff is congenial, we all get along. I am grateful for my home here. -Ory
